Tarot Readings for You for June 22-23, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Here is a Tarot Verbatim™ Celtic Cross spread.  I accidentally used this form for this person’s Email Question.  Serendipity.  This spread is a good example of how there are 3 sentences in a Tarot Verbatim Celtic Cross layout, and how in Tarot Verbatim the similarity of the 3 sentences indicates the degree of accuracy of the reading.

Naturally, the client has agreed to share this story with you.

You can investigate these cards’ meanings by Googling them; you will get this site’s archives.  And you can get an answer to your question at the Email Reading navigation tab at the top of our site.

The category of life is:: Love
My question is::
is he married or still in love with wife? and am i the only woman he is interested in?

(1) Is he married or still in love with a wife?

He is committed to his marriage: His initiative, she is independent and single.

Magician

He is – Magician

Hierophant

committed – Hierophant

Magician

actively; it’s his initiative – Magician

Four of Wands

to his marriage – Four of Wands

+

Nine of Pentacles

And she is single and independent, content by herself. – Nine of Pentacles

I drew a fourth card on impulse, and it neatly tells you this isn’t a legal wife, that she is a single woman. She is content, so this isn’t a demanding ex.

(2) Am I the only woman he is interested in [other than Ms. Nine of Pentacles]?

First Sentence(s)

[Emperor looks like a truck driver here! A truck driver controls his world while he’s in the cab of his truck. The Self card represents him, the subject of your question.]

He is the boss in his sedentary controlling way, and he is proud to be flirting to (talking to) a strong woman who can handle him.

Emperor

He is the Boss in his sedentary controlling way – Emperor (Card 1. Self)

Page of Wands

and he is proud to be flirting with, talking to – Page of Wands  (Card 2. Situation)

Strength

an equally strong boss woman who can keep him in line. – Strength (Card 3. Crux/Situation)

He has always been and always will be the Italian Stallion/Studmuffin/Player.

Ten of Wands

He has always been – Ten of Wands (Card 4. Foundation)

King of Pentacles

and always will be the sexy man/player, the manipulative fellow. – King of Pentacles (Card 5. Future)

He is doing right, and he is entitled to, and he should have a sweet li’l gal at her home to be romantic with.

Justice

It’s right to, and he is entitled to, and he should – Justice (Card 6. Behind)

Six of Cups

be romantic with a sweet li’l gal at her home. – Six of Cups (Card 7. Ahead)

Second Sentence

I just can’t do without (would be miserable) a good solid home life with a partner.”

Eight of Swords

I just can’t – Eight of Swords (Card 8. Second Self)

Five of Pentacles

be without (I would be miserable) – Five of Pentacles (Card 9. Situation / Environment)

Four of Wands

a good solid home life with a ‘marriage’ partner. – Four of Wands (Card 10. Crux / Problem )

Third Sentence  – Outcome

It’s just as if he is back with his estranged wife who is also doing fine without him.

Six of Wands

It’s just as if – Six of Wands

Judgement

he is back with – Judgment

Queen of Swords

his estranged wife – Queen of Swords

Nine of Pentacles

who is also doing fine without him. – Nine of Pentacles

Emily adds:

I did not plan to put the fourth card on your first question; it just slipped out. And it created the whole reading which expresses perfectly the ‘wife in every port’ concept. Your fellow is very comfortable being a polygamist! Tarot says. I note he is ‘committed to his marriage,’ and his marriage is ‘her home.’ That’s the way I read this anyway.

And I did not plan to use Celtic Cross for your reading. That just slipped out too. But it really flows. And the Emperor as a truck driver is perfect, and new.

You can check the meanings of each card, or any pair, by Googling them.

And, by the way: In Tarot Verbatim, when the three sentences of the spread are parallel, it’s an indication of accuracy. The more accurate, the more they say the same thing.

Tarot Readings for You for April 7, 2014 Monday©

Guidance      To give ourselves the loving home life we deserve after the day’s rat race.    If we cannot do that, what hope is there for public life?    Today talks about the debris that detours our personal paradise, about getting back to (or getting to) a normal and comfortable life-after-work, about the quality of evenings we share with homefolk.    The problems that push aside the life we choose have themselves to be pushed aside the same way we wash dishes.    Then we get into nitty-gritty announcements about legal actions and children, and some other miscellanea.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the four cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL SIX 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Six of Cups

Justice – Knight of Wands – Eight of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Knight of Wands and Eight of Cups       Both Knight of Wands and Eight of Cups are leaving, are avoiding, are escaping, are getting out of something. Knight of Wands is pursuing too. Knight of Wands is high speed, rush, a lot of energy, whereas Eight of Cups is taking a detour or shortcut, running off the road, quitting before it’s over. It has an ‘end of one thing, beginning of another’ spectrum to it, and it means to abandon course or to disappear or give up. These two appearing together immediately tell you a big change, a shift, is here.

Eight of Cups and Six of Cups       are both about a thing of the past. Eight of Cups is going in a new direction, abandoning the past course. Six of Cups is the good old days, the past in a nostalgic way.

Justice      talks about justice matters, police and courts, of course. That is what it is about today. It often (not today) means ‘should.’ ‘Normal’ and balance also belong to Rider Waite Justice.

Six of Cups      is sweet life, good old days, children or child, romance, giving a gift or favor. Today it is an old neighborhood, and the ‘juvenile’ of (dreaded) juvenile court.

Today we talk of times past as the glory days, and we talk of getting out of some fix by some glitch. Children and courts are front and center, which is fairly rare.

Justice      Well, his meaning is obvious, huh? The sword displayed in one hand and the scales of justice in the other, he sits very upright and keeps a very straight face like judges must. Anything legal, should, balance, normal – those are its main contributions to sentences.

Knight of Wands      Energetically flees or pursues and is in a rush. High-speed chase or departure. He carries a club but is wearing armor, and his horse seems clumsy but is flying.

Eight of Cups      Fork in the road, detour, run off the road, unexpected departure, premature or aborted, abandon, vanish, quit without notice. A person cannot continue on his journey because of the terrain. There’s a suggestion he will be back on course when the obstacle is passed.

Six of Cups      The good old days, the way things used to be. Old friends, old lovers, old memories. Sweetness, love gifts, lovingkindness. Children and romance. Depicted by a little boy giving a little girl flowers in front of a large old-fashioned building. They are dressed old style.

Advice says the human condition is about family and kids who are a problem or who have problems with the family …  or both.  When you love one another,  you know things are the way they ought to be even when there are problems caused by outsiders or family.  He/She thinks  “I am entitled to have other people support me and/or give me things.”  The kids are very aware of the family’s problems,  so they are going straight.

It’s considered a bad neighborhood for children and that’s correct.

The issue is tried in family court because ___ is seen as a juvenile.

JUSTICE

SIX OF CUPS –  TEN OF PENTACLES –  HANGED MAN

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

First thing you notice here is the first two Rider Waite Tarot citizens.  Six of Cups is children of the family,  and it’s the sweet life,  the good children.  Next is the Ten of Pentacles family and its problems,  including problems with the neighbors,  the clan,  the extended family,  outside influences in general.  This is the theme:  children and family.

The general and intense awareness of Hanged Man is next.  Realization,  recognition,  acknowledgment.  And we close with Justice,  the way things are supposed to be or  ‘should’  or  ‘deserve’  or  ‘entitlement.’

Six of Cups and Justice is about deserving or being entitled to being taken care of, entitled to support.  It also,  literally interpreted,  means  ‘child support.’  In the same breath,  Ten of Pentacles and Justice together mean  ‘family court’  (a/k/a ‘juvenile court’) and  ‘the extended family that feels entitled.’

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Six of Cups shows Little Boy giving Little Girl flowers.  It evokes childhood,  the sweet life,  being taken care of,  being a good child,  receiving … as in receiving love,  gifts,  etc.  “I deserve to be loved and taken care of”  is what it says.

Ten of Pentacles says if you are a human,  you are a member of a human family and you are involved in its problems.  Trouble with other people is the human condition.  The clan,  the tribe,  the family,  the community,  even the nation,  are complicating your life.  The illustration is sooo on point:  Grandpa sits on his throne,  the family dogs submitting to his august authority.  Husband stares into space as Wife earnestly addresses him and Kid pulls on her clothes,  squalling.  Oh yeah,  family problems.  Few of us humans escape this scene.

Hanged Man pictures acute awareness,  flashback,  intense feeling,  realizing,  knowingness,  recognizing,  acknowledging,  extrasensory perception,  mindreading,  sensing,  perceiving …  whether conscious or unconscious or the bridge between the two.  Its illustration is not transparent.  The upside-down person represents the feeling you get when your subconscious drops a realization into your real-life experience that is instantly recognizable as the truth.  As in “Oh-comma-shit, he/she is fooling around on me.”  As in  “The government is not what it represents itself to be …  duh.”  As in  “OH NO,  they are going to fire me.”

Justice where the title says it all.  One of the obvious meanings,  yes?  The scales of justice in one hand and the sword of enforcement in the other.  What is deserved,  what ___ is entitled to.  What is right.  Court,  cops,  police,  lawyers …  the justice industry.

Our Daily Spread for September 20, 2011 Tuesday (c)

Advice is about fatherhood and the husband’s role with children, including his legal role there. It is also about how a miserable childhood makes a man feel he did not get the ‘fair shake’ he deserved especially if he marries for love and is doing without it. A man sacrifices for his kids when he feels they deserve a sweet life he would have liked to have had. She misses the man she did marry, or could have.

He works himself to exhaustion to give the kids what they deserve.

Real Estate Perspective
He feels low-class, so an old-fashioned or quaint neighborhood is right for him.
He is a construction worker, so a fixer-upper, handyman’s special, house is right for him.
Gives the house to his kids so he can be legally bankrupt.
He feels, after the angst of losing a home, he deserves a comfortable one.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together to mean things.

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It describes how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
What a story! We have the King of Wands husband (who also means frustrated, resentful or angry man and also means workingman) ; the Justice card that makes that ‘legal husband’ or ‘married man’ (and which also speaks of lawsuit, courts, etc.); then we have the children (or child) which also means to give to, to love, a home, romance … and then we have losing the home, being unloved and miserable. A lot of drama here for just four cards!

Today’s story is mostly from the male gender’s view. At a glance you can see a hardworking man sacrificing to give his kids what they deserve. Almost as easily, you see a man who feels resentful he did not get what he deserved in his past.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Five of Pentacles you hate to see coming. Dark night of the soul, losing the home, being miserable and unloved, being ill and poor, being so numb with despair that you don’t see the way out, don’t see the hopeful open door. Abject self pity, and being pitiable. Poor times for sure. Homeless, injured, on the street in the dark of night in the snow and walking by shelter and a meal that the cathedral offers …

King of Wands is a person, invariably. Other court cards can have some nonperson meanings but this one rarely. This is the husband card. He is the workingman, the common man, archetypical construction worker. (He drinks beer.) He has a temper, can be angry, frustrated, resentful. Put him next to the legal (Justice) card and the child/children Six of Cups, and, voila, he becomes the father.

His illustration shows the red-head, shows the fist, shows the salamander, shows the pressed lips – that all indicate being irritated, fiery or angry. He leans slightly forward into his big stick.

Six of Cups appears in the nick of time after the emotional strain of the first two: sweetness, romance, a love gift, a sweet kid, a sweet old-fashioned home … All of these are illustrated by the little boy, in a pastel scene, giving the little girl flowers in front of an old fashioned apartment building or grandiose home, wearing clothes from the 1500s.

Justice sitting there with the famous scales and the word under him, this is the card you know the meaning of without the book, the first time you encounter Tarot. Law enforcement: the scales and the drawn sword.

Rider Waite Tarot 2-14-11

She and he are responsible, sensible types whose romance comes with commitment

King of Swords
Queen of Wands, Six of Cups, Justice

Romantic Perspective:
He is a strong man who is giving the woman he marries flowers.
He (a responsible man) loves her, has children with her, is legally married to her.
Married man gives his legal wife flowers.
He, the manly man, gives the woman he will marry a romantic gift.
She and he are responsible, sensible types whose romance comes with commitment.
He legally marries his childhood sweetheart.
Military man’s wife is at home with the children.
He is a strong and romantic fellow to the woman he marries.
He loves the woman he married.
He loves the woman and will marry her.

Legal Perspective:
Military court gives the wife the children.
His wife’s children are legally his.
His legal rights to be with the children at the wife’s home.

Honest, I did not make this up.  In the center we have ‘Little Boy Gives Little Girl Flowers’ and on either side of it we have the two cards that in Rider Waite mean ‘wife’ and ‘legal,’ and over them all is the head-of-the-family strong manly man.  And the middle card means sweetheart, gift, romantic, home sweet home, sweet love, etc.  So any fool can sit around for an hour or so and make Valentine cards out of this spread!

Meanings and Illustrations:

Queen of Wands: She is the wife, a sensible woman, a woman in charge of the home or business.  A woman of character and responsibility.  The illustration shows her sitting erect next to a sunflower.

Six of Cups: The most romantic card in the Rider Waite Tarot deck’s repertoire shows two innocent children in front of a quaint home or apartment building, and the boy gives the girl a romantic gift of flowers.  Today it’s a Valentine present; sometimes it refers to a birthday present.  Childhood sweetheart comes from children being pictured in this romantic setting.  You understand this card’s meanings in your bones.

Justice: Today it picks up the card that in Rider Waite Tarot means ‘wife’ to make it ‘legal wife.’  Of course the main meanings to the Justice card are lawyers, police, judges, courts.  It also means ‘should.’

King of Swords: He is a disciplined man, a leader, a manly man, an adult, a grownup – also a military man.  The illustration shows a very erect tall man with a no-nonsense expression, his weapon at the ready.

Rider Waite Tarot 2-14-11

Love has him in its sway, he changes quickly

Knight of Swords
Eight of Wands, Lovers, Six of Wands

Romantic Perspective:
All of a sudden, he is saying ‘I love you,’ just to please her.
A complete change has come over him, he is more and more your love partner.
Lover comes back telling you a story.
Under the influence of love, he suddenly has a lot to say.
Love has him in its sway, he changes quickly.
Talks to his lover to tempt her to change.
Talks to his partner to get her to come back.
All these changes have overcome him, he is in love.
He comes flying back, he heard his lover had another.
Lover who cheated changes his ways.
Cheater comes back saying ‘I love you’ over and over.
Under the influence of love, he takes back everything he said.
Incessantly calls to get you to reconnect with him.

Like I said before, today:  I am not making this up; this is what Tarot is saying for Valentine’s.  No business or other meanings to be had here!  The Lovers Tarot card is in the middle, as the romance card is in the middle of the previous spread.  To the left is ‘to say’ which also means ‘quickly’ or ‘fast,’ the Eight of Wands, and to the right is the Six of Wands that in Rider Waite means to be under the influence of someone else.  You can go on forever about him being in love with this quatrain.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Eight of Wands: The lines made by the sticks flying in the air indicate messages, talking, quickly, repetitive actions, and increasingly.

Lovers: Speaks for itself here on The Day, doesn’t it?  In our last sentence, its ‘connect’ meaning is expressed and ‘partner’ appears as well.

Six of Wands: This is a story of pretending to go along with someone else’s purposes in order to subvert them to your own, of being under the influence of something or someone – of love, in this case.  The illustration refers to the betrayal of King Richard of England.  A cheating lover comes into play in this set of cards.

Knight of Swords: Illustration shows a rider going at full speed, sword held high as if to strike. It means to rush headlong, It also means ‘to return to the former’ as in ‘to rush back.’
