Tarot Readings for You for January 23, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Guidance        Who we marry, and how we leave our nuclear family, determines our future.  It is easy to get into a romance and let it develop into something that determines our future as we marry … and much harder to swim out of that tank.  You may relocate to a place away from where you would prosper.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time?  Come in!  People love this place!  Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need.  ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day.  ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying.  Tarot can come up with a wide variety of sentences (sometimes even completely contradictory sentences!) in a group reading as there is no specific question being asked.  So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Want even more insight and information about a specific situation in your life? Call me, Emily, at 1-800-993-6912 and talk to me personally and have yourself a live, in detail, Tarot Reading like no other you may ever have had before. Your call will support 500 acres of wild life in an animal sanctuary where I live and call home.  Or you can choose an email reading; the tab is above.

Also, don’t be shy about talking to the Community of Users in the comment section below. You’ll find this as the very last thing on this site. Trust me when I say we would *love* to hear from you!

Not too many sentences today, huh?  We have marriage (Four of Wands), a sweet-natured boyfriend (Knight of Cups), a good future (Two of Wands), and times being better than they were (Six of Swords) or leaving the bad times behind for better times.  There are several ways to make a story of these elements, especially with the fairly minor alterations that using other meanings of the cards make.

Both Two of Wands and Six of Swords say the future will be better.  Two of Wands is about the financial future (as well as the future generally), and Six of Swords says things will be better because they have been so awful, that we are leaving the past behind us.

Two of Wands is financial security, and Four of Wands shows a society wedding to express security in financial and social life.

Knight of Cups is the good-natured, likeable young fellow … the boyfriend and perfect marriage prospect.

Four of Wands and Six of Swords are about leaving the family and putting it behind, yet also can be better prospects for the family as it puts some bad times behind.

Who we marry, and how we leave our nuclear family, determines our future. It is easy to get into a romance and let it develop into something that determines our future as we marry … and much harder to swim out of that tank.  You may relocate to a place away from where you would prosper.

Two of Wands    The banker who owns the town (See the world in his hands?) is about the financial future (as well as the future generally), and financial security.  He is planning on how to wring more money from his real estate below as he stands on the finished roof of his castle or whatever.
Four of Wands   shows a society wedding to express security in financial and social life.  It is about a good marriage, being one of the good people (the Establishment, perhaps), and refers to community, company, organization (civil or governmental), and even neighborhood.  It also can be a house.
Six of Swords    Huddled in a shallow open vessel, mother and child are paddled out of the area with just the clothes they are wearing.  Six of Swords says things will be better because they have been so awful, that we are leaving the past behind us.   Six of Swords can be about leaving the family and putting it behind, yet also can be better prospects for the family as it puts some bad times behind.
Knight of Cups is the good-natured, likeable young fellow … the boyfriend and perfect marriage prospect.  He fits into our spread perfectly as the good man of good family with a good future ahead of him.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

*Without a question* in a group reading to focus the answer, the four Tarot cards can mean quite contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no,’ ‘never’ or ‘not.’ These negative modifiers can apply to any one of the other cards.
*Without a question* in a group reading, the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) are more flexible. Whenever you see a pronoun in parentheses, please *feel very free* to substitute another pronoun than the one used. I try to drop pronouns when possible, which, if you’ve noticed, can make for awkward phrasing.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In an individual situation, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

We have been wondering here lately whether the Tarot Verbatim(TM) sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than they are for people who visit this site only once in awhile or for a short time. Would you help us with a comment please, if you have not been a regular visitor? Just let us know if the sentences are relevant to you. So far, people say they do apply.

Return to this site often and you can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim(TM) works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Rider Waite Tarot cards with very little effort.

Guidance    Oh, the phases and cycles of love, and oh the upheavals the ups and downs of love life make in our lives. Acceptance of this reality is a mindset that saves us some of those upheavals. Mostly today is about being or having a boyfriend … or not.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Tarot Readings: Phasing into Being a Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups)

He instinctively knows how to connect lovingly: That is the direction he is heading.

As he is in the process of leaving, it hits him that he is being affectionate.

Let’s recognize I’m your boyfriend, and avoid being on iffy ground.

When the intense phase is over, I get around to being the nice relaxed boyfriend.

Love at first sight for him, and he was on his way, leaving all else behind.

Alternates between the idea of getting over it and expressing affection.

My idea of being a boyfriend is: leaving and returning over and over.

He keeps coming back to what he left behind, and that is his concept or idea of being a boyfriend.

Dawns on him that it is not one-thing-after-another in his love life anymore.

He realizes he is really in love as he keeps coming back to what he left behind.

Feels he is a friend but it may be headed in another direction.

He wants her to know he loves her either way – whatever happens – as he withdraws.

Don’t know where I’m headed but I send you my love.

Sending her the message, the thought that he loves her, as he goes back over the water.

Now that I’m on my way out of the situation, I feel relaxed and ready for romance.

Realize she might be avoiding you because she has a boyfriend.

Mentally departing from the whole idea of being the devoted loving guy.

Putting the past behind and getting into thinking like a guy in love.

It strikes him that the times he is affectionate have been when she is leaving.

Tarot Readings: Phasing into Having a Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups)

In the mood for a loving guy and getting out of doing the same things over and over.

An intense hunch that this is Mr. Right but I don’t know where it’s going.

Now that I’m on my way out of the situation, I feel relaxed and ready for romance.

It seems he is getting the idea of being the sweet guy as time goes by.

Putting it all behind, realizing the next boy who loves me will be better.

Tarot Readings: Phasing Out of Being a Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Six of Swords)

I keep trying to put thoughts of being a Boyfriend out of my head.

It strikes him that he is getting out of the phase of being sweet on her.

Realizing that your being nice is the reason they keep leaving you.

Tarot Readings: Phasing Out of Having Loving Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Six of Swords)

I see him as a good guy, but he keeps going away.

Intensely feel you are going ’round and ’round with this boyfriend, you gotta get out of here.

Suddenly realize her boyfriends leave as soon as they introduce themselves (a revolving door).

I keep trying to get over Loverboy and put these flashbacks of him behind me.

Mentally departing from the whole idea of having a devoted loving guy.

Realize you had one affectionate man-friend after another back then, but that’s over now.

Realizing that your being nice is the reason they keep leaving you.

Tarot Readings: The Idea of Leaving, or Being Away (Hanged Man + Six of Swords)

Something-or-another gives me the idea to get out of here.

I am going around in circles to get out of this when a helpful inspiration occurs to me.

As he is in the process of leaving, we realize he was just being polite.

I see him putting distance between us but continuing to help.

The suggestion to ‘leave whatever is going on behind’ is illuminating.

He is aware, while he is away, of what is going on because a friend lets him know.

Friends get the idea to leave here, one after the other.

I get the idea we may be able to leave this place with the help of a friend.

Tarot Readings: In Acceptance Mode (Two of Pentacles + Knight of Cups)

Accept the idea that bad times are not quite yet over, but we are headed in that direction.

You avoid the upheavals when your mentality is acceptance.

Accept the idea that things that kept happening are not happening anymore.

In ‘acceptance mode’ now, realizing ‘that was then.’

I get over one thing after another as I see things clearly and accept them.

Tarot Readings: Phase Out, Avoid (Two of Pentacles + Six of Swords)

His idea or concept of being polite is to avoid rocking the boat.

Get the idea to just phase out of this cycle of being the nice guy.

He has no clear idea why he avoids helping.

Foolishly avoiding friends who know you so well.

I can see I am on my way out of this scene, with my friend.

A psychic friend sees past the phase you are in and the better times ahead.

My friend realizes I am going through a goofy phase.

Six of Swords

Two of Pentacles – Knight of Cups – Hanged Man

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Two of Pentacles is a cycle or phase – either phasing in or phasing out, but more the in-out cycle. Six of Swords is phasing out and leaving. It usually means things are not as bad as they were, that times are better; and Two of Pentacles is a light card that can mean, say, entertainment or silliness.

The star card today is Knight of Cups, the boyfriend, the nice polite agreeable romantic fellow who puts his hand out in love or friendship.

Hanged Man is intense feeling, realization, seeing and knowing, getting the idea … illuminating.

Our story is phasing in or phasing out of love. It is also about accepting ups and downs which avoids upheaval.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Two of Pentacles Two of Pentacles is a cycle or phase – either phasing in or phasing out, but more the in-out cycle. It means one time after another, going through, foolishness, rocking the boat, upheaval or ups and downs. The juggler’s plates go up and down with the waves that toss the boats behind him, and he is dressed in a dunce cap.
Knight of Cups is the boyfriend, the nice polite agreeable romantic fellow who puts his hand out in love or friendship. He is the friend who accepts an offer, gives a suggestion, and puts you at ease. He communicates – wings of Mercury are there on his helmet.
Hanged Man Several Gods got illumination hanging on a tree, including Odin of Norse lore. Hanged Man illustrates that upside-down feeling you get (hair on fire) when an idea upends your reality temporarily as you ‘get it.’ The rush of inspiration as the muse brushes your subconscious into your mundane mindset.
Six of Swords Heading on out to better times ahead, leaving the scene. Avoiding the worst. Going in a direction; having departed; putting distance between; being away. A woman and child’s bent figures huddle in a small boat as a friend paddles them away. ‘Only the clothes on their back.’

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day). Emily analyzes relationships in business situations and personal situations accurately from *Tarot, *intuitive, and *practical perspectives. She tells you what is happening and what to do about it to make it happen best. (Testimonials about this are on the web site https://EmilysInsight.com and here under its Tab, and in Comments.)

Tarot Readings: Boyfriend (Knight of Cups)

He isn’t afraid anymore to make a public romantic commitment.

He is so self-assured, he isn’t afraid to be upfront about being attracted to you.

Avoids openly declaring his love, out of fear.

Going out of your mind because the boyfriend who seemed so committed left you.

He loves you in the physical reality, the real world, and he isn’t one of the crazies of your past.

A man who loves you and is your helper in the physical world gets you over the worst of it.

It’s a mistake to take the initiative romantically, and right to avoid it.

Tarot Readings: The Messed-up Boyfriend (Knight of Cups + Moon)

A fucked-up mellow guy can get you away from your normal life.

Just when you are putting this messed-up situation behind you, boyfriend comes to you to commit.

This boyfriend is a big mistake, he isn’t one of us normals.

Boyfriend problems are ending your normal life.

Loverboy is crazy, and you are headed away from safe ground.

Putting the dangerous world behind you with a nice safe loving boyfriend.

This isn’t the usual crazy normal boyfriend behavior.

I don’t hate him anymore, he’s just the usual #%&* boyfriend.

Tarot Readings: Helps (Knight of Cups)

Out of affection, he voluntarily helps out in mundane daily ways so you can avoid things being a mess.

With his assistance, things are as they should be, and the trouble is over with.

He comes to make things function normally when they are broken down, and then he is off.

He usually helps people get on their way when they break down on a trip.

When your delusional phase is over, you can be a help in the real world.

Tarot Readings: The Good Side

His good side is putting his bad side behind.

His good image was tarnished, but those days are over.

Getting over his distaste or fear of being a good boy.

We get off the wrong path at the suggestion of a devout friend.

Agrees to ‘do it by the book’ or cooperate with the rules and ‘be good,’ to get out of trouble.

Accepts the correct theology from the church, to avoid hell.

This is the wrong time to cooperate, and the right time to get out of there.

A good guy fights dirty, isn’t always ‘fit to print’ good.’

He is a truly decent person, having put a life of debauchery or crime behind him.

I’m not making the mistake of accepting that as proper anymore.

Tarot Readings: Getting Over It (Six of Swords)

Putting the harm behind that was caused by a friend with good intentions.

Getting over the (physical) death of a beloved person or pet.

He gets over his mental or physical illness (or addiction) and is a healthy (young) man.

Just when you are putting this messed-up situation behind you, boyfriend comes to you to commit.

In this peaceful atmosphere, he calmly accepts that the worst is truly over.

A friend comes to physically help you over the worst of it.

Getting over sickness with the physical help of a friend.

Your friend will get over the craziness and be okay.

He is being his public-relations self to get past the screwup.

Accept that normal life as you knew it was a delusion, and get over it.

Putting the dangerous world behind you with a nice safe loving boyfriend.

He is being polite and neutral until you get over your grieving.

Helped to safety, gets out of the danger zone.

Putting a horrible experience behind with a friend who is safe.

Leave this hideous town for one that’s friendly and safe.

Tarot Readings: Things as They Are (Hierophant)

It’s difficult to get over the mainstream values you accepted.

I don’t agonize over it anymore, I just accept whatever is.

Having an official boyfriend isn’t a problem for me anymore.

Putting the dark side behind and engaging with whatever’s the norm.

Things had to get their worst before they got better for him to accept things as they are.

Tarot Readings: Illness, Addiction, Vices, Craziness (Moon)

Getting over a vice, being moral and being polite.

Putting his mistakes behind him and accepting a religious regimen.

His demons leave, and he is his normal friendly self again.

His healthy self is recovering from infestation.

He is a truly decent person, having put a life of debauchery or crime behind him.

I’m not as crazy as I used to be, I’m accepted as a friend now.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings:

An agreement to hold harmless puts that fear behind us.

A night departure will be a safe trip for the young man.

Tarot Talks:  Literal Meanings for Two-Card Combinations in Today’s Readings

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

When you see Moon and Hierophant together, you know ‘Something’s up.’ Moon is the dark side, is abnormal; Hierophant is whatever is officially accepted as good and respectable, and means ‘normal.’ Neither of them will yield an inch on their respective territories.

Then you see Six of Swords. Whew. It means bad things are getting better, the worst is over (and Moon means ‘the worst’) and putting something (the vice of Moon) behind you for a better life.

Lastly, we have the helpful young man, also known as The Warm Puppy boyfriend or the friend (whereas one of Moon’s meanings is ‘enemy.’ He is polite and behaves himself, and Hierophant also means conventional, accepted behavior.

So right in the middle, we have the problem or the dark side, and surrounding it, we see ‘good stuff’: The good man, the good side, and things are getting better. That’s our story.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Knight of Cups is civil and civilized. He is the good friend, the first to offer to help (and do it). He has an engaging personality and is outgoing (makes the first move, introduces himself). He is cute: See how he and the horse he rides in on are drawn in curved lines and colored in pastels?
Moon is when you’re lost, crazy, ill, grieving – the dark side and the worst of times. Moon is when nothing makes sense and you know it. Moon is the creepy atmosphere and bad spirits that infest it. Moon is bad magic and hell, and whatever is odious to us.

Hierophant is whatever’s fit to print … is ‘face.’ It is specifically about the public teachings of a religion (That’s the pope there in the red robe.) as opposed to its actual ones to cognoscenti. The same way righteous people present that moral ‘face’ to the world. The same way we all tell ourselves we are right and the world is wrong about us.

Six of Swords Better times are ahead because we are getting out of here, getting over this, putting that situation behind us. Leaving with the shirt on our back but looking ahead hopefully in the dismal fog.
