Knight of Pentacles – Four of Cups – Two of Pentacles
Guidance |
Changing my mind is fine, until I have my priority set. Once I have made up my mind, I shall not change it. One ambition at a time, and I don’t waver in that one thing. Being stubborn, being inflexible, about my number one.
Could This Be You?

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.
GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.
SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.
LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.
WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.
WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Knight of Pentacles – Four of Cups – Two of Pentacles
Tarot Readings : Knight of Pentacles and Four of Cups
Keep thinking ‘no.’
I am determined not to do the same things over and over.
I’m just not focused sometimes.
Sometimes I’m not obsessive.
I won’t admit how obsessive I am as I keep doing this.
When I cannot focus, I am erratic.
My mind is made up, nothing will change it.
Being flexible is not that important.
Not another guy with one thing on his mind for me.
Tarot Readings : Knight of Pentacles and Two of Pentacles
What I am convinced of may or may not be.
Pay attention next time: you are blocking something.
Grimly determined: no more ups and downs.
He doesn’t have the drive to keep at it.
One fellow after another who is full of himself: No more!
Tarot Readings : Four of Cups and Two of Pentacles
Somehow, he doesn’t get around to the main point.
I’m not fooling around; I’ve made up my mind.
My concentration does not waver.
Once you make up your mind, you say ‘no’ over and over.
Determined not to do something stupid.
Not being unstable is being stable to me.
Keep your mind on it, or you won’t keep at it.
He’s got his mind made up; he is not clowning around.
Synopsis |
Keep saying ‘no’ as many times as it takes when something is important to you, and you mean that ‘no’ with all your heart. It’s one thing to change your mind and be flexible – and that’s in the early stages of consideration, and it’s another thing to be determined – and that’s in the finishing stage of consideration.

Knight of Pentacles
Here you see a focus of body and mind. Knight of Pentacles is a very physical strong man with a lot of energy who has one thing in mind. Knight is Pentacles is when you decide you are going to do it no matter what, like when someone tells you ‘you can’t do that.’ He is ‘all business.’ You see the short sturdy guy with muscles, on a horse to match himself. He is staring at his pentacle, his mission.
Four of Cups
Four of Cups is the simplest of all Tarot cards. It’s a sure thing when you see Four of Cups that ‘refusing’ and/or ‘not getting through’ or ‘not letting’ is what it is contributing to your sentence. Can’t miss the illustration, either: He crosses his arms and even his legs, and looks down and away as yet another cupful is offered him.
Two of Pentacles
Elsewhere on this site (just put the cards into a Google search), I have posted volumes about Two of Pentacles’ applications and meanings. Here are the categories we use today: sometimes (one of Two of Pentacles’ favorite terms!) keeping it up; over and over, one after another; ups and downs and maybe-maybe not; and the ‘unstable’ meanings that say erratic, fooling around, waver, do something stupid, clowning around. You see the juggler doing the movements over and over, and you see him dressed in a silly costume. The instability meanings grow out of the ships’ being tossed on the waves.
Note that Two of Pentacles has two main meanings that are opposite one another: (1) sometimes, or off-and-on; (2) always or steadily keeping at it. (1) The cycle of the movements gives rise to the sometimes – sometimes up, sometimes down type thing. (2) The controlled precise motion of juggling gives rise to the ‘continual’ meanings.
Now Without The Pictures |
Here we have a great example of how a negator makes opposite statements of the same three Tarot citizens – for those of you who are readers of Tarot.
*Knight of Pentacles is focused, driven, energetic. He has one priority on his mind – can be obsessed or grimly determined, even.
*Two of Pentacles, on the other hand is just as wishy-washy as the Knight is unwavering.
*And in the middle is our negator, Four of Cups. Nothing gets through to Four of Cups, or he refuses every time … refuses to hear, refuses to consider, even ‘refuses to do’ is sort of implied.
Some pairs of cards are particularly noteworthy, so much so that when you see them in your spread, looking at them early on saves time. Four of Cups and Two of Pentacles are one of those pairs. Think of them as ‘not again’ in mental shorthand, and realize that they can affect other cards in the spread in more than one way – so that an early decision is a good thing. And the fact that Two of Pentacles means both ‘sometimes’ and ‘continually’ is involved here. With that being said, here are the phrases this pair makes today:
not waver; say ‘no’ over and over; not to do something stupid; not being unstable; won’t/doesn’t keep at it; not clowning around; not to do the same things over and over; sometimes not; nothing will change; not flexible; not another for me; may or may not; no more ups and downs; doesn’t get around to; not fooling around; not waver; say ‘no’ over and over; not being unstable.
Note that Knight of Pentacles is strong of body and strong of mine: to focus (one of his main concepts) involves mental strength – mental muscles, if you will.
Note that both Four of Cups and Two of Pentacles each involve ‘over and over.’ Four of Cups limits it; Two of Pentacles means it generally.
