Queen of Pentacles – Five of Wands – Page of Cups
This layout is so strongly about how foolish a woman is being investing love, effort and money in in inappropriate partner that I struggled to apply the idea from the man’s perspective. By golly, I succeeded, too.
The main concept is investing effort, money and/or love questionably. It applies to romance and money. With Lovers meaning a connection to Upstairs or to God, it could refer to spiritual life, maybe.
Queen of Pentacles is usually a woman who takes care of, supports, babies or is possessive of a/her man. The Lovers card goes along with ‘her man.’ Queen of Pentacles also means to invest or to contribute or to be generous, and that is where I stretched the message to refer to men, because an investor isn’t necessarily a dame.
Page of Cups asks a question, means things like not getting it, being an idiot, inappropriate and so on. Lovers is a connection, protection, partners, being looked out for, and Upstairs which could refer to God, the folks in charge at work, anyone looking out for (you).
Queen of Pentacles This is a woman who takes care of, supports, babies or is possessive of a/her man. She is generous, giving. She is investing, contributing. She handles money, manages a/his business, may keep the books. Definitely loyal. The card sometimes means not a person but the act of investing or contributing toward. Illustration shows a woman with the pentacle (money) in her hands and her lap, meaning she handles and possesses it.
Five of Wands What you see is what you get: a fight, a struggle, competition, being against, expending a lot of energy, trying really hard. Five fellows whacking one another with the sprouting boards.
Page of Cups Huh? Duh. Who, me? Ridiculous. Why? Why not? It instructs the surrounding cards to be a question. It means ‘questionable.’ It means a strange or ridiculous person, sometimes a ‘flamer.’ Again, what you see is what you get: Illustration shows a fellow dressed in women’s clothing, carrying a fish in a cup, with the symbolic water of emotion behind him.
Lovers hath many meanings arising from its complex illustration. Adam and Eve and the title suggest the obvious. The angel suggest protection and being looked out for as well as being spied upon. Supervision and looking out for. Protection. Partners and connection.
