Once in a while, you ask Tarot whether what just happened is what it was telling you about in a past reading. That is a yes-or-no question. That is what happens in today’s real-life email reading example. Tarot answers that, yes, it was her next love-interest Tarot was referring to. There’s a video on this site called ‘Destiny and Your Soul Mate,’ which reminds me of that ‘your next love interest’ remark of Tarot’s.
.
You can Google one card or a pair of cards you find in these spreads, and research their meanings more. You can also have a reading like this for yourself – just click on the Email Reading navigation tab up there.
Question: The question would be what is in the future for myself and the person that I just met. Is he the one the cards were referring to from the reading you did in March for me.
Is this the person the cards spoke of in your March reading?

[See the video on our site, the one titled Destiny and Your Soul Mate, a history of a woman’s search for her true love. For three years or so the cards predicted what was happening in his life, but said over and over that there were more than one of these true love partners. When Tarot said the man she met was Mr. Right, she questioned him about what was happening in his life at the times the cards spoke of seminal events – divorce, death of mother, end of one job, moving to a different town – and indeed these things happened at those times.]

Guidance |
When a bad guy goes out of his way to do you a favor, you figure he’s a good guy. You know who you can ask a shady favor of, don’t you? – and I hope you have one of those devious butt-kickers in your arsenal of friends. With a little help from another kind of friend, you can beat what you’re facing. A tough guy who tenderly loves you. Consider taking advantage of that offer you can’t refuse. You gotta wonder when a bastard like him is being so polite to you. Today we point out that the Bad Guy-Good Guy label is relative.
Could This Be You?
Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.
GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.
SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.
LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.
WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.
WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Synopsis |
A tough person can be a good guy, and a nice person can be an s.o.b. Personal style or personality doesn’t always align with fairness-behavior. A person who is talented at conflict – if you aren’t – is a good friend to have. Being a pit bull with ethics is symptomatic of spiritual maturity, we remind ourselves. And some of those warm-fuzzy people are using that approach as bait. So, hey, we pray for discernment, don’t we?
Learn Single Tarot Cards By Pictures |
Mr. Knight of Cups doesn’t go to the Knight clubhouse. The other Knights are aggressive, but this fellow extends the cup of friendship; this fellow has the polite approach. This fellow has the wings of Mercury on his helmet – Mercury, the messenger and communication god. The artwork is soft colors and curved lines, in contrast to the other Knight cards. The artwork reminds you of Six of Cups: warm and friendly. He is flexible.
Knight of Cups is the main Boyfriend card. This is the boyfriend who communicates, who makes the first move, who is helpful and outgoing … who listens and talks to you. All this applies to friendships too: Knight of Cups is your accommodating friend, as Hermit also is. Knight of Cups is you being your mellow side.
Seven of Pentacles is wondering, pondering, speculating, doubting, uncertainty, and casting doubt upon something. Seven of Pentacles is you don’t know yet. This is a distinction between Seven of Pentacles and the other ‘don’t know’ Tarot cards in Tarot Verbatim™.
And Seven of Pentacles is one of what I call the ‘duh’ cards. ‘Duh’ is the gear you are in when you don’t get it. Sometimes we don’t get it because we don’t want to, and sometimes it is a blind spot – among other things.
You are leaning on your shovel gazing at your full-grown shrub. You have already done all the work of maintaining it, keeping it well hydrated and well fed and free of bugs. But you don’t know whether it will bear cucumbers because that is one of the plants that requires another like plant of the opposite gender in order for bees to fertilize its blossoms. And you don’t know whether the bees have done their magic. Most of the Tarot books caption Seven of Pentacles as ‘Doubt about the outcome,’ and that’s a good way to think of it.
The key word, the most frequent translate, for Mr. Seven of Pentacles is ‘wondering’ and ‘wonder.’
Five of Swords is the ‘What’s In It for Me’ side of us – is about ‘what’s mine.’ The spectrum of ‘What’s In It for Me’ starts with a very healthy awareness of what our share is, and reminds us to accept what’s ours without a fuss. This part of the spectrum applies to taking a hard stance, getting tough with someone … ‘laying down the law.’ [Sometimes Five of Swords appears in your spread to tell you that you (or whoever) should assert yourself to get what is rightfully yours.]
The spectrum extends all the way to the fellow we see in the picture, who has seized his friends’ swords after a play-fight as if the fight were some sort of duel. In the days of the sword, losing your sword in a duel lost you your inheritance as a knight – lost you the family estate and its income. So Five of Swords is about greed, bullying, thieving, feeling that you’re a privileged character that others have to do for. Yeah, Five of Swords is the chip on the shoulder.
Five of Swords is a personality trait, maybe even about one thing or one part of life. Some people are unreasonable in just one streak, you know? Five of Swords describes a hard-ass attitude, whether the attitude is justifiable or not.
Five of Swords is the person who’s God’s privileged kid and expects you to thank him for eating your lunch. His caption is ‘Entitlement Gone Malignant,’ and our world is full of these predatory helpy-selfies. [Some religious people are prone to this attitude.] These are the bullies, whether they are physical abusers, social bloodsuckers who expect you to wait on them, financial mooches who occupy others’ couches, or spiritual energy vampires … or any combination of these. Five of Swords comes in the form of the abuser, the mooch, the thief, as well as the thug, the bankster, the con artist, the jerk, and the friend who is using you to take advantage of someone else or get some privilege – like a social climber.
Now Without The Pictures |
Note that Five of Swords is about a fight, and so is Five of Wands. But Five of Wands can be a struggle, expending energy, and some other things that this Five of Swords doesn’t encounter or touch upon.
Knight of Cups and Five of Swords But sometimes the bad-guy is doing you a favor. Sometimes a person who is talented at getting nasty, confronting, laying down the law … when you aren’t … does you a favor and steps in and fights your battle for you. Today’s readings are about this. Knight of Cups is a softie, and he is all about doing a favor; Five of Cups is the Bad Guy. These two cards together can mean Al Capone is defending your house, so he isn’t a Bad Guy in this context.
Note the contrast: Knight of Cups is a softie, shows mercy; Five of Swords is a predatory person, shows no mercy.
Knight of Cups and Seven of Pentacles is saying ‘Should I ask for help?’ and ‘Should I do a friend a favor?’ and ‘Is (he) really my friend?’ and ‘Why am I a friend?’ These two Tarot cards also express whether to accept something because it’s offered, maybe something you otherwise would not have considered.
Since Knight of Cups is the boyfriend card, Knight of Cups and Seven of Pentacles are wondering about boyfriend, or boyfriend wondering, as well as wondering whether he is a boyfriend. All this applies to ‘friend’ as well as ‘boyfriend.’ Knight of Cups and Seven of Pentacles also ask ‘Should I help?’ and ‘Should I ask for help?’
Seven of Pentacles and Five of Swords don’t appear in tandem very often. Wondering whether to be very assertive, whether to take a hard stance, whether to get tough, whether to extend no mercy, whether to be inflexible – whether to get nasty – is one application of these two Tarot cards in Tarot Verbatim™. They say ‘Should I fight?’ or ‘Should I fight it?’ or ‘Can I beat this?’ or even ‘Is it getting the best of me’ – or ‘Something may be getting the best of me.’ Here today, it’s about love getting the best of boyfriend, because of Knight of Cups. Another is ‘Am I being taken advantage of?’ and even ‘Who’s the thief?’
Seven of Pentacles and Five of Swords say something may be getting the best of you, and they are asking yourself some question about some jerk. You can also see ‘I wonder what’s in it for me.’ Wondering whether there are rivals, or whether someone is a rival.

Knight of Cups – Temperance – Seven of Pentacles
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
Well, this is one of the easiest, simplest foursomes we have encountered in the two years this blog has been alive. Knight of Cups is the warm, diplomatic, affectionate good-natured fellow who is a friend to all.
Temperance is closeness between people, intimacy, getting along together.
Seven of Pentacles is puzzled and wonders.
Ten of Wands is a long time, and is difficult. It also means to wait, sometimes.
You just weave these together, and you got it. “Why do we get along so well all the time?” it asks.
.
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
Knight of Cups offers the cup of friendship. His horse is standing still and cute as a merry-go-round pony … matches his rider. The card, in Rider Waite, is pastel color and curved, relaxed lines. Knight of Cups wears the wings of Mercury (the messenger, communication) on his helmet.
Temperance Pouring wine and water together to dilute the wine for the purpose of promoting sobriety is what the illustration is about, but the card means closeness, intimacy, getting along together and buddies. It is one of the cards that in Tarot Verbatim (TM) do not really reflect the illustration.
Seven of Pentacles Huh? Gee, I wonder? Why do you suppose? The fellow leans on his shovel, pondering whether his plants will bear fruit.
Ten of Wands Long time, long term, as well as ‘slow’ and ‘difficult.’ He is weighted down by taking all the firewood in one load. But he will make it.
I N S T R U C T I O N S and Explanations (Comments are below this.)
Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.
Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .
Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ’all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)
Horoscopes are group readings too.
Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)
Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.
Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.
The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.
*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures. This is the meaning of each separate card. This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.
