Tarot Verbatim
GUIDANCE We have to associate with other people, no way around it, so let’s associate with those who give-and-take in fair exchanges. Then we will all be happy paying our relationship dues to one another. There are attention exchanges that have to be fair; there are sexual exchanges that have to be give-and-take fairly; and of course there are money exchanges to make sure we are fair about both as to what we get and what we give. Fairness exchanges are the only, and the best, way to have a good community.

………………….…………………… Everyone has to treat everyone else fairly in give-and-take exchanges in order to guarantee a good community or group life, whether we are talking about a marriage, a family, any circle of friends or co-workers. Our message today is about being in a circle of people where this is as possible for you as you can make it. We are emphatic (Ace of Wands) about this.
………………………….. Six of Pentacles shows an employer paying his help fairly, weighing out the gold in the coins so they get full value of their pay. This depicts a fair exchange, being paid what you are worth, give-and-take relationship, justice, and getting the attention and respect due you. Six of Pentacles translates ‘contribute’ and ‘donate,’ and such words – any synonym of give or take.
………………………….. Ace of Wands is imperative. My father used to say ‘Some people, to get their attention, you hit them in the face with a board.’ Ace of Wands is that board. So it can mean rough, tough and rugged stuff. Must, have to or has to, number one, the most (whatever), important, priority: These are its key words. Ace of Wands and add ‘iest’ or ‘est’ to a nearby card. It can be an order (but not today). Note that putting the sentence into a command (the form of it) expresses Ace of Wands.
………………………….. Ten of Cups is one big happy family, a good neighborhood, a good community, everybody, everybody getting along, membership, and family life (whether a couple or a clan). It is group or mass consciousness too. You see the perfect family in the perfect neighborhood pictured here, with a rainbow over the roof to make sure you ‘get it.’
………..………….. Six of Pentacles and Ace of Wands Six of Pentacles and Ace of Wands are all about how important it is to treat one another fairly, and it goes both ways: to receive and to give fair treatment. It says you have to pay your dues. Six of Pentacles is to give and receive, and Ace of Wands is sexual, so they get together to say ‘Pay sexual attention where it is due.’
.. Six of Pentacles and Ace of Wands also say ‘Have to pay the bills’ and ‘Having to (fill in the blank) is going to cost you.’ Just as easily, they refer to how important receiving money you deserve is.
……….………….. Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups are about treating everybody fairly, and being treated fairly by your circle. Ten of Cups is one of the (positive) marriage cards in Tarot Verbatim™, so these two represent treating – and being treated by – one’s spouse fairly, giving him or her the attention deserved, as well as paying marital bills and making the house or rent payment. These two cards suggest paying your membership dues, paying to live in a good neighborhood. They read ‘give-and-take relationship(s).’ They suggest that justice and fairness make for a good community life.
.…. Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups also express karma: We all get what’s coming to us. They say life is satisfying when you are paid what you are worth, because Ten of Cups means happiness or satisfaction with one’s circumstance. So they say ‘Money makes me happy.’
……………………… Ace of Wands and Ten of Cups Ace of Wands and Ten of Cups say people are important (Ace of Wands is the ‘important’ and Ten of Cups is the ‘people’ of course), and marriage is important, and you have to make others happy. They say ‘guarantee a happy relationship’ or ‘a happy relationship for sure.’ They talk about what’s important to a good community life.
.. Ace of Wands and Ten of Cups also speak of sex in a happy marriage, and of sexual satisfaction (since Ten of Cups can mean satisfaction). So ‘Life is most satisfying when ….’ They say family comes first, and they talk about having to live in a good neighborhood.
.. With Ace of Wands being the boss and Ten of Cups meaning family, you also see who rules the roost in the family here. We didn’t use this, but ‘Everybody’s important’ is here too. So is group sex, and even incest.
The more good people you have in your personal circle, the easier and more satisfying your life will be. If everyone were fair with everyone else, we would all win. Come as close as you can – be deliberate about that – and your life will be pretty satisfying. That’s what we’ve got to say today.

Six of Pentacles ……… Six of Pentacles pictures a very fair exchange: Workers being paid fairly by the employer. They are getting exactly what is coming to them. The scale the employer weighs the gold on makes this a justice card. The workers are getting the respect (attention) they deserve too. Six of Wands is generally about giving, receiving, or both, and that extends to things like dispensing pills or treatment, or just about anything: dispensing. It mainly means fairness: being fair to others and being treated fairly. ‘Treats right’ is one of its more common translates.
.
Ace of Wands…………. Ace of Wands is an imperative, a directive, and a priority … is number one … is most of its meanings. You’ve got to, it has to be, there’s no other way, it’s guaranteed, it’s important, the dominant (or dominating): These are its most common applications. It also resembles a penis, so it applies to the word ‘sexual.’ Once in a while the sprouting of the club translates ‘growth,’ but not too often.
.
Ten of Cups ………. Ten of Cups is about unity, group life, and happiness. It is about the happy couple, family, or group of likeminded people – or of people who have some membership in common – even being humans. It refers to being content, being well-adjusted, making others happy. Given the context from other cards, Ten of Cups can be a racial or national group, and it can also say ‘all the people who,’ and other card(s) supply the rest.

Guidance This is a simple reminder that when I have not done something satisfactorily or right to suit someone (or others), and there’s a protest or complaint, it’s a crisis for me. I am on alert to make it right one way or the other. Edgy unreasonable people invite me to step outside, determine what works, and do just that, impersonally. Court proceedings often involve unreasonable people, and unreasonable people find other ways to annoy me too. It’s my job to not be annoyed so I can focus. It’s also my job not to be that edgy annoying complainer, isn’t it? This advice even has a few remarks about sexual situations.

.
We have two justice cards and two cards that mean ‘threat.’
Six of Pentacles and Judgment are both legal cards. Six of Pentacles is legal proceedings, service of legal papers, payments to the court (or ordered by the court). It is also doing right by people (particularly employees); paying proper attention; giving a person his due; a commercial transaction; delivery; giving and/or receiving (money or attention, usually). Look for it to mean paying fines and legal fees too. Judgment is a decree or verdict, and an announcement by a judge. It also means a renewal or recovery, a repeat, or going back. It’s a new phase or new life, too – but not so much today. Today it’s an announcement and a surprise.
Page of Swords and Ace of Wands Page of Swords and Ace of Wands are both threats or threatening. Page of Swords feels threatened – that creepy ‘something’s out there’ sensation we all get. He is all worked up, fearful. He also means to be thrilled, motivated, turned on, excited, etc.
Since, in Tarot Verbatim, cards mean both sides of the scene they depict, Page of Swords is threatening, has a mammoth chip on his/her shoulder, is thrilling or motivating others or creating excitement.
Ace of Wands is to use force, to be a threat or be threatened, to hit, to assert, and to be male. (It looks like a penis.) Oh yeah, it means sex too. Especially today.
So Page of Swords and Ace of Wands are both threats or threatening. Together, they say ‘sexual excitement,’ don’t they?

Six of Pentacles An employer weighs the money he pays his workers. He is being fair. He is treating them right, giving them their due respect (yeah, never mind that they are on their knees to get their money). The scales of justice in his hand put this Rider Waite Tarot card in the legal category, so it means legal proceedings and, to a lesser extent, prosecution and police subjects.

Page of Swords Something’s out there that is a threat, an unseen something. He whirls around, weapon drawn and brandished, standing on a knoll in full view of a flat panorama of … vacancy. This Rider Waite Tarot card often refers to threats but also picks up the body state and means motivated, excited, thrilled, and so on.
Ace of Wands A hand with a club in it. The club is sprouting life. This card stands for the male gender, penis, assertion or aggression, threat, primary or primacy or Number One. The most important. A win or victory.

Ultimatum to make our love legally binding
Justice
Six of Pentacles, Lovers, Ace of Wands
The lover that treats you right is the right one to have sex with.
Have to give me the legal paper to be my sex partner.
To be his/her partner, there has to be a court proceeding.
Ultimatum to make our love legally binding.
Has to pay his/her love partner in a court proceeding.
The right thing to do is order your love partner to do right by you.
Lover feels entitled to get sex from you.
Legal protection has to be given.
Lawyer has to pay the other party.
Enforce his/her rights in a court of law.
Lawyer’s partner has to do the legal proceeding.
Not much you can do with this. Two cards refer to court proceedings, ‘legal’ or ‘lawyer,’ things like that. Also means ‘entitled.’ Then the Lovers card means partner, lover, love partner, and not much else in this context. And the remaining card means ‘enforce’ or ‘have to’ as well as ‘sex.’
Advice here is to not have sex until a legal proceeding (a divorce, naturally, is what that likely is) is underway, to give that ultimatum.
Meanings and Illustrations:
Six of Pentacles: Legal proceedings. To give, or to be given. With the justice card, the serving of legal papers is suggested. It means to give the appropriate attention as well. Illustration shows a man with a scale paying his workers to the penny what they have earned.
Lovers: Love partner, partner, lover are the most frequent phrases for this. Connection and protection are two others. Illustration shows an angel overlooking a naked human couple, a volcano between them, and the snake in the tree behind the dame.
Ace of Wands: Have to, ultimatum, sex, enforce. The hand with the board in it, a board that looks like a penis sort of, and is sprouting.
Justice: There’s the legal scales again, and the meaning of this card could not be more obvious.
