Six of Pentacles – Four of Swords – Star

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. …….…… ….. ………, Elements for a kaleidoscope of stories are here. Four of Swords in the middle fractures the scene that way. Negator cards tend to do that.

Six of Pentacles is giving or receiving attention or money, is an exchange or a transaction of any kind, and is getting what one deserves, in both senses of that phrase. It also serves as a justice card.

Star is being happy or glad, is having something or a lot to say, is feeling happy or good (or healthy), is being enthusiastic or gung-ho, is loving and saying ‘I love you.’

None of our spread-mates mean the same thing.

Four of Swords is not participating, not doing anything, being a couch potato or being retired. It is also being indifferent, which means not paying attention, and it sits next to Six of Pentacles which is ‘paying attention.’ Four of Swords is staying and is ‘used to it.’

Four of Swords makes all those Six of Pentacles phrases about giving or getting ‘not giving’ and ‘not getting. Four of Swords is indifference, and it sits next to wildly enthusiastic Star. Four of Swords is not responding, and it sits next to Star who is spilling its guts, doing a sales pitch, loving and saying ‘I love you.’

And Four of Swords, when Six of Pentacles and Star get together about things like being thrilled with the sale, puts a wet blanket of ‘didn’t do it’ or ‘indifferent to it.’

.

.

.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE.

Six of Pentacles       Six of Pentacles shows an employer weighing the gold coins he pays the help with. He is being fair because their value is by weight as wear happens, not by face amount. That makes Six of Pentacles a justice card: the scales along with the story. Six of Pentacles applies to paying and receiving money, and applies to a fair exchange or transaction. It especially applies to the paycheck, of course.

In real Tarot practice, Six of Pentacles equally applies not only to paying money but paying attention, paying respect, giving credit for what is done, and giving and getting what is deserved.

Here are Six of Pentacles’ words for today: doing what’s proper; the police; Life is fair; paid what I’m worth; got what he deserved; do for her; enough money; paying attention; spend money on me; how to make money; get the proper; do business; the sale, I buy; paid for; how much I paid for it; not paying; not getting paid; to pay you; have the bills paid; give to; getting; just right; an exchange; a transaction; collecting; in court; how much you are being paid; the way I’m being treated; treating you like; gets respect; I take the pills; pays off.

Four of Swords      Four of Swords just lies there all by himself. Most of his meanings arise from that. He also is about meditating (hence about spiritual life, and hence does belong to that theme). A knight candidate has to overnight in the cathedral, meditating on his life purpose as a knight, lying next to the relic that church has of some saint or hero. That is what our Four of Swords fellow is doing: a vision quest.

Four of Swords main translates are: not participating, not doing, rest and sleep, to be indifferent, to stay, to be used to, retired, to not respond. When it joins an action card, it negates the action, so Four of Swords ends up acting like a negator even though, strictly speaking, it isn’t one.

Here are its words and phrases from today’s one-sentence readings: not doing; leave them alone; Life isn’t _ anyway; not; I don’t have to do anything; to retire; no one is; doesn’t; without doing anything; rest; don’t; I don’t; already; not; not to do; just _ and no more than that; couch potato; I’m used to it; no response; don’t participate at all; indifferent to it; no; did not; don’t; not so; (He) isn’t; no; still _ while; staying.

Star           A shapely woman is pouring from jugs into the pond as she sings. It’s a performance of a ritual bath. All the elements of this story apply: shapely woman, singing, performance, ritual, words delivered enthusiastically, feeling good, upbeat, healthy. Other words that flow from these are: publicity (advertising, sales pitch); glamour; eloquent.

Star means ‘to say,’ means ‘I love you,’ and means ‘to say “I love you.” ‘ Any time there’s a lot of talk belongs to Star. SO many phrases there: spill your guts, blab, drone on, chatter, yakking; talk too much; confess; said too much; spill the beans … etc. forever.

Here are all Star’s words from today’s messages: feel good; enjoying themselves; I love it; tell me all about; making her happy; she’s so crazy about me; make me very happy; I am happiest when; says “I love you”; sales pitch; I feel best; Everyone says; I am thrilled; So glad; talking about; advertising; perform; would be happy to; happy to; a pep talk; blarney; phrased it; participate fully; all for (t); news; testify; tell; happy with; loves you; gorgeous woman; healthy; crazy about.

.

.

Here’s a picture of being indifferent to whether you are being treated fairly or even paid fairly, paid what you’re worth. The picture expands to include not caring what is said about you. Your private internal life is where your well-being and your good feeling are anchored.

.

Tarot Readings for You for August 11, 2013 Sunday(c)

Guidance     Advice is about working and the pay. Mostly it is about making enough to pay the bills and about job satisfaction. That sometimes you would do this job without pay; that some people want the pay without doing the job. Also mentioned is only having to buy durable items once, and some observations about justice related matters.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day. ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages to everyone. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. THEN, the family of commenters here would love for you to join in.

Tarot Readings: Already Paid For (Six of Pentacles and Four of Swords)

Tarot Readings: Job Satisfaction (Nine of Cups and Eight of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: The Justice You Want (Six of Pentacles and Nine of Cups)

.

Tarot Readings: Already Paid For (Six of Pentacles and Four of Swords)

Already paid for each and every thing I want.

When you pay for the best, you don’t have to do it again and again.

Tarot Readings: Job Satisfaction (Nine of Cups and Eight of Pentacles)

I would want to do this even if I were not paid for it.

The work you are doing already gives you a satisfactory life.

Your work brings you satisfaction even without the money.

Getting enough sleep and rest on a regular basis is fulfilling.

People who have job satisfaction rest easy because they are getting paid for what they enjoy.

Tarot Readings: The Justice You Want (Six of Pentacles and Nine of Cups)

The court proceeding is about not doing the work satisfactorily.

When justice isn’t done, you want to do it yourself.

The justice you want is happening without your doing anything to deliver it.

So happy I will not be prosecuted for what I did.

Eight of Pentacles

Six of Pentacles – Nine of Cups – Four of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

This one is easy. First thing, you see working, Eight of Pentacles – the carpenter at his bench – and you see getting paid, Six of Pentacles – the employer weighing the gold coins into the hands of his help.

Nine of Cups – satisfaction, having the good life – makes for job satisfaction stories, and also says ‘the job you want’ when attached to Eight of Pentacles.

Four of Swords means both to stay and to not participate or not do anything, so it speaks of staying on the job and not having a job when Eight of Pentacles plunks down next to it.

All you have to do is string these elements together to make stories.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Six of Pentacles is getting paid, or spending money – a financial exchange. The illustration shows employees receiving pay, the coins being weighed out for fairness.

Nine of Cups is having plenty, the good life, satisfaction. The picture shows a fat fella with that ‘I ate the whole thing’ look of surfeit on his big face. Empty glasses line up behind him on the mantel or table.

Four of Swords is not doing anything, not responding, just lying around. The picture shows a fellow lying on a coffin in a cathedral, as part of the ceremony for knighthood.

Eight of Pentacles is work. The carpenter is making one after another objects at his work bench. It’s about The Job today.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

Blog Daily Spread for July 10, 2011

Today’s question is How to deal with your difficult relative. Advice, in answer to “How do I deal with my difficult relative?” is: Don’t feed the monster. Be calm. Be unreactive. Be passive. Give respect but do not respond to competitiveness or fighting. Especially if you are not receiving the respect that should be yours, withdraw your participation. (As soon as we have a specific question, it cuts down on the number of sentences the four cards make.) ========================================================================= Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. Comment or call if you have a suggestion for a question.

(Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

======================================================================== DEATH FIVE OF WANDS, SIX OF PENTACLES, FOUR OF SWORDS DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. Not engage in any activity where you are not treated with the respect you deserve. You are a non-combatant, waiting to be properly acknowledged. Do not feed the fight, be sooo laid back. When you aren’t being treated right, you aren’t joining in the activity. Passive resistance, don’t give him/her attention. Try really hard to do the right thing without going into a coma! Don’t pay any attention, so you aren’t fighting. Don’t give money and don’t do work either. Don’t contribute, don’t compete either. Don’t be indifferent when it’s right to be involved. No one there can compete with you, you are indifferent to how they treat you. ======================================================================== Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to the first Meanings and Illustrations section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together to mean things. Then you can

*Go to the second Meanings and Illustrations. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It describes how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

I analyze business situations and personal relationships accurately from both Tarot and practical perspectives, and even make it fun. (Testimonials are on the web site. Just click the link.)

========================================================================= MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD Both the Four of Swords and Death are support cards for a death theme, but they do not establish that theme. Death is a negative modifier – no, never, not, without, don’t, etc. Four of Swords means passive, do not react or respond, sleep, being laid back, not engaging in, indifferent to, coma, aren’t joining in, sidelined – that sort of thing. They each say: Don’t do it. Five of Wands is competition, fighting or competing, activity, combat, involved or engaged in activity, energy. Six of Pentacles is to contribute, input, treat with respect, pay attention to. MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS Five of Wands is competition, fighting or competing, activity, combat, being involved or engaged in activity, energy. fast and furious things like exercise. The illustration shows fellas going at it, at each other, with boards … swatting their fellow men. Six of Pentacles is to treat someone properly, respect, to contribute, the input, to pay attention to, and justice or proper. A merchant weighs the coins he pays his laborers on a scale to pay them fairly and treat them right. Four of Swords is to be non-responsive, unresponsive, laid back, asleep, not participating and not doing. This is the fellow (doing his knighthood ceremoney, where he has to have a vision quest in a cathedral all night) lying on a coffin, meditating, not engaging in any activity but contemplation. Death is no, never, not, without – any negative modifier. Often, “Don’t.” It shows the dead kind on the ground. The bishop has scooped up his crown to pass it on to the next before his body is cold. Remind yourself not to go into politics.
