WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.
WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Fairness in action here: You see the employer weighing the coins into the hands of his workers, because the weight of the coins is what they are actually valued at when these fellows use them in their transactions.
Six of Pentacles is giving, and is receiving – not just of money in a transaction, but of attention in an interaction; not just a deal in commerce, but a social exchange of any agreeable kind … like you getting the attention you want and deserve, or treating others to the attention they want and deserve. Six of Pentacles commonly refers to paying the bills, collecting money, getting a paycheck, paying a fair price, and even getting medical treatment or pills.
Ten of Cups comes in as everybody, the family, other people or people, or all the people, and the community – which enriches the story a lot. Ten of Cups is ‘happily ever after,’ and it often means a marriage, a couple, a family (married with children). Today Ten of Cups is part of a story of a man doing for the family, for the community, and for himself. Ten of Cups is also living well and being respectable. Like Ace of Pentacles, this Tarot card pictures the good people as the prosperous people.
See him drive; he is the one who gets ahead and is responsible, the leader, the manager who can handle anything and get it done, the decision-maker, being responsible, and having the responsibility of a group of people. ‘Choose’ and ‘decide’ are favorite Chariot words. Chariot is ambitious, even driven – a Type A personality who gets the task done one way or the other, by any means.

Our stories are about ordinary things – making people happy, making money, paying the bills.
Chariot is the leader; Six of Pentacles is the employer. Chariot emphasizes the decision-making, the responsibility to get it done, and the achievement or winning.

GUIDANCE Sharing valuable information with the people who can benefit from it, we compare to money exchanges and ‘what you can afford.’ How much wisdom can you afford?, in other words. Give them only what they can benefit from the way they are living now. Living within our means financially compares to living with the level of awareness we have now. Would you like to be richer? – in information, spiritual development, or cash? – Well, there’s a price for each of them. The price isn’t just time either; it’s how wide your lens is (how receptive you are), and how good the strainer is that keeps the debris out (how selective you are).

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings. It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.
*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!
.
Six of Pentacles – Ten of Cups – Hermit
.
.
……………………… This spread is a study in cards being used in the same sentence for two different of their meanings, not just the same meaning twice, although we do that too here. Six of Pentacles is giving or receiving anything (even microbes!) and is also a fair exchange (as Three of Pentacles is), and therefore is being treated fairly. Ten of Cups is everybody, the family, the community, and being one of the ‘control group,’ being normal. Hermit is seeking, is wisdom or useful information, is elderly (usually a man), is honest. He is on a spiritual path, and he is private, so he is on a private spiritual path. The gist of the messages today is that wherever people share information and are honest with one another, there’s a slice of utopia.
Note that a building (Ten of Cups) where you receive treatment (Six of Pentacles) … medical treatment (Hermit) … is a hospital. Those three cards can simply say ‘hospital.’ Watch for this.
………………………….. Six of Pentacles shows someone paying every penny he owes. It’s a fair exchange, and it’s a paycheck on one hand and an expense on the other. Six of Pentacles, as an exchange, includes not just money but information, microbes, attention – anything you can give, anything you can receive – the flow of each of those things. So it’s payments, it’s what you can afford, it’s living within your means, paying your bills, etc. And it’s giving everyone his due – the proper respect, attention, treatment, space … whatever. With Hermit being the adviser, counselor, and appraiser, Six of Pentacles become a flow and an exchange of information, of wisdom. With Ten of Cups, Six of Pentacles becomes giving everyone his due, his fair share, and also making people happy (giving them happiness).
………………………….. Ten of Cups shows almost a cartoon of personal prosperity: the embracing couple, the prancing one-boy-and-one-girl kids, the corner lot on the golf course, and even a rainbow over the house. (Ace of Pentacles too equates having money with being right.) Ten of Cups is ‘one big happy family,’ is a group of people who have something in common – a community of any size and any sort. Ten of Cups can be the public or even ‘the masses.’ It means being normal, being happy, being one of the respectable good people. Ten of Cups is in good company with Six of Pentacles and Hermit.
Ten of Cups is also one of two positive marriage cards. (All the marriage cards expand into community, almost implying that it all starts with the couple, and metastasizes.) It means married with children, and it also indicates someone is married. (In dating inquires, if this Tarot card comes up, you ask ‘Is he/she married?’)
Ten of Cups is also about home, house and real estate – and, to a ‘way lesser extent, a building. (Four of Wands, the other positive marriage card, is a more of a building.) Ten of Cups is a neighborhood … a good neighborhood, of course, where respectable people live, and a good neighborhood for children. (This is very applicable in real estate inquiries.)
With Six of Pentacles next door, it is a house you can make the payments on – can afford. And you are with the people who treat you well and/or are treating other people with the attention and respect they deserve.
With Hermit next door, you are looking for a house to live happily in, a house in, perhaps, a good neighborhood for children, or maybe you are moving on up to that upper-class neighborhood. You are also one of the spiritual people, one of the sincere people, and you are helping friends, or friends are helping you.
………………………….. Hermit is a monk who is dedicated to helping people – travelers on the road, specifically. He is out on the cold mountain road at night, with a light, searching for them. Every one of those words is his. The monk illustration imports these meanings to Hermit: honesty, chastity (monogamous or celibate or ‘true to you’), solitude, sincerity, being spiritual or ‘on the path,’ being wise, being private, and also being a doctor (his clothing shows he is a doctor of the time).
Other meanings of Hermit are a friend (helpful friend of course), and an elderly person, or older person, usually a man.
Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:

If everybody were honest, we would all be treated right, we are saying, and we proceed to illustrate some scenes that may be early isolated outbreaks of utopia. If we shared our information the way we make exchanges of money among ourselves, we would all be the wiser, we ruminate here. And be where you belong: Leave the family and/or culture you were born to if you aren’t blooming there. We talk about only imparting as much wisdom to friends as they are comfortable with as they are living now. And we talk about auditing our own level of awareness: Are you using as much wisdom as you can afford?

.
Six of Pentacles ……….. It’s easy to limit Six of Pentacles to financial applications. It is a financial card. It can be a justice card (the scales admit of that). But it is ‘way broader than all that. Six of Pentacles is allocations or exchanges, usually fair exchanges, of anything at all – time, attention, money, respect, information (where it can call the word ‘impart’) … even germs. It can be a hand-to-hand transaction, like Temperance can (very bad for some legal questions!).
Six of Pentacles is also fundamentally about fairness: a fair exchange, being treated fairly, getting what is deserved (good or bad, by the way), paying your dues (in any sense).
.
Ten of Cups…………. Ten of Cups is unity. The group, tribe, couple, family, neighborhood, any interest group (guys who play dominoes in the street, etc.), and any size political group (city, county, state, area or region, nation, international). More specifically, it applies to neutral or ‘good’ groups like the respectable people, the good neighborhood, people of good will … one big happy family.
.
Hermit …………. Hermit, you take each and every element of that illustration as its various applications (otherwise not related). Here they are, quoted from above: ‘He is out on the cold mountain road at night, with a light, searching for people he can help. Every one of those words is his. The monk illustration imports these meanings to Hermit: honesty, chastity (monogamous or celibate or ‘true to you’), solitude, sincerity, being spiritual or ‘on the path,’ being wise, being private, and also being a doctor (his clothing shows he is a doctor of the time).’
Hermit also shows an old man, so this Rider Waite Tarot card can apply to an elderly or older person. He is coming to others, so Hermit often means the one who makes the approach or makes the first move socially.
Hermit is a friend too, usually a helpful friend. He is also about being on the road, especially on foot, and searching. Hermit is the card that comes up for searching for a lost person or animal.
As the monk, Hermit also shows up to represent a religious person, or, of course a ‘religious’ – a reverend or other religious office.

GUIDANCE We have to associate with other people, no way around it, so let’s associate with those who give-and-take in fair exchanges. Then we will all be happy paying our relationship dues to one another. There are attention exchanges that have to be fair; there are sexual exchanges that have to be give-and-take fairly; and of course there are money exchanges to make sure we are fair about both as to what we get and what we give. Fairness exchanges are the only, and the best, way to have a good community.

Six of Pentacles – Ace of Wands – Ten of Cups
.
.
………………….…………………… Everyone has to treat everyone else fairly in give-and-take exchanges in order to guarantee a good community or group life, whether we are talking about a marriage, a family, any circle of friends or co-workers. Our message today is about being in a circle of people where this is as possible for you as you can make it. We are emphatic (Ace of Wands) about this.
………………………….. Six of Pentacles shows an employer paying his help fairly, weighing out the gold in the coins so they get full value of their pay. This depicts a fair exchange, being paid what you are worth, give-and-take relationship, justice, and getting the attention and respect due you. Six of Pentacles translates ‘contribute’ and ‘donate,’ and such words – any synonym of give or take.
………………………….. Ace of Wands is imperative. My father used to say ‘Some people, to get their attention, you hit them in the face with a board.’ Ace of Wands is that board. So it can mean rough, tough and rugged stuff. Must, have to or has to, number one, the most (whatever), important, priority: These are its key words. Ace of Wands and add ‘iest’ or ‘est’ to a nearby card. It can be an order (but not today). Note that putting the sentence into a command (the form of it) expresses Ace of Wands.
………………………….. Ten of Cups is one big happy family, a good neighborhood, a good community, everybody, everybody getting along, membership, and family life (whether a couple or a clan). It is group or mass consciousness too. You see the perfect family in the perfect neighborhood pictured here, with a rainbow over the roof to make sure you ‘get it.’
………..………….. Six of Pentacles and Ace of Wands Six of Pentacles and Ace of Wands are all about how important it is to treat one another fairly, and it goes both ways: to receive and to give fair treatment. It says you have to pay your dues. Six of Pentacles is to give and receive, and Ace of Wands is sexual, so they get together to say ‘Pay sexual attention where it is due.’
.. Six of Pentacles and Ace of Wands also say ‘Have to pay the bills’ and ‘Having to (fill in the blank) is going to cost you.’ Just as easily, they refer to how important receiving money you deserve is.
……….………….. Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups are about treating everybody fairly, and being treated fairly by your circle. Ten of Cups is one of the (positive) marriage cards in Tarot Verbatim™, so these two represent treating – and being treated by – one’s spouse fairly, giving him or her the attention deserved, as well as paying marital bills and making the house or rent payment. These two cards suggest paying your membership dues, paying to live in a good neighborhood. They read ‘give-and-take relationship(s).’ They suggest that justice and fairness make for a good community life.
.…. Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups also express karma: We all get what’s coming to us. They say life is satisfying when you are paid what you are worth, because Ten of Cups means happiness or satisfaction with one’s circumstance. So they say ‘Money makes me happy.’
……………………… Ace of Wands and Ten of Cups Ace of Wands and Ten of Cups say people are important (Ace of Wands is the ‘important’ and Ten of Cups is the ‘people’ of course), and marriage is important, and you have to make others happy. They say ‘guarantee a happy relationship’ or ‘a happy relationship for sure.’ They talk about what’s important to a good community life.
.. Ace of Wands and Ten of Cups also speak of sex in a happy marriage, and of sexual satisfaction (since Ten of Cups can mean satisfaction). So ‘Life is most satisfying when ….’ They say family comes first, and they talk about having to live in a good neighborhood.
.. With Ace of Wands being the boss and Ten of Cups meaning family, you also see who rules the roost in the family here. We didn’t use this, but ‘Everybody’s important’ is here too. So is group sex, and even incest.
The more good people you have in your personal circle, the easier and more satisfying your life will be. If everyone were fair with everyone else, we would all win. Come as close as you can – be deliberate about that – and your life will be pretty satisfying. That’s what we’ve got to say today.

Six of Pentacles ……… Six of Pentacles pictures a very fair exchange: Workers being paid fairly by the employer. They are getting exactly what is coming to them. The scale the employer weighs the gold on makes this a justice card. The workers are getting the respect (attention) they deserve too. Six of Wands is generally about giving, receiving, or both, and that extends to things like dispensing pills or treatment, or just about anything: dispensing. It mainly means fairness: being fair to others and being treated fairly. ‘Treats right’ is one of its more common translates.
.
Ace of Wands…………. Ace of Wands is an imperative, a directive, and a priority … is number one … is most of its meanings. You’ve got to, it has to be, there’s no other way, it’s guaranteed, it’s important, the dominant (or dominating): These are its most common applications. It also resembles a penis, so it applies to the word ‘sexual.’ Once in a while the sprouting of the club translates ‘growth,’ but not too often.
.
Ten of Cups ………. Ten of Cups is about unity, group life, and happiness. It is about the happy couple, family, or group of likeminded people – or of people who have some membership in common – even being humans. It refers to being content, being well-adjusted, making others happy. Given the context from other cards, Ten of Cups can be a racial or national group, and it can also say ‘all the people who,’ and other card(s) supply the rest.

Guidance Money is today’s subject, about house payments, paying household bills, paying for other people, investing other people’s money, and even supporting mooches. It’s also to a lesser extent about yourself not being in a position to pay your own expenses. Advice is also about paying people the respect they deserve: Isn’t a full-fledged member of the community until he does what earns our respect. He doesn’t get enough respect to be happy in this marriage. The secret to having a good circle of friends is to treat them the way they deserve.

Four of Pentacles
Six of Pentacles – Ten of Cups – Magician
.
Six of Pentacles and Four of Pentacles are both about money. Six of Pentacles is paying, and Four of Pentacles is withholding. Six of Pentacles is giving others their due, paying or receiving a fair price – a fair exchange taking place. Four of Pentacles is being cheap, not paying enough, letting others pull out that credit card at the restaurant … or not being paid enough, thrift, budget, less money, not admitting or not telling about money – money secrets and being greedy, stingy, tightfisted.
Six of Pentacles and Four of Pentacles both are not just about money. Six of Pentacles is paying proper respect, proper attention, and Four of Pentacles is clamming up, not talking, sulking, withholding information,. Four of Pentacles’ meaning extends to meaning ‘less,’ being inferior, being clingy, having a constipated personality. It also has a few stray meanings like a hug, and being isolated from others (based on the picture of him sitting in the street outside of town.
Ten of Cups and Magician represent the people involved in our story that is about paying and not paying, giving and not giving proper attention or respect, etc. Magician is a man (a male) and means to do, to be the one to do something. Ten of Cups comes in as everybody, the family, other people or people, or all the people, and the community – which enriches the story a lot. Now we have a man doing for the family, we have in Ten of Cups and Four of Pentacles being stingy with other people or refusing to talk with other people. It gives us Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups other people’s money being invested, paying family bills … even Ten of Cups and Magician making everybody happy, since Ten of Cups is one big happy family.

Six of Pentacles shows an employer weighing in a scale the coins he pays to the help. The scales and ‘paying a fair wage’ concept expands to legal proceedings (but not today). Paying is not just about money. We pay attention; we pay respect, we give others their due – all all these things embrace also the receiving end. It’s about an exchange – a fair exchange. We receive our due, we get respect, and so on.
Ten of Cups today is everybody as well as the community and the family. The illustration shows a happily-ever-after couple hugging themselves in front of their house in the gated community with the rainbow over it, with two happily-ever-after dancing-for-joy kids. We are not so much about the marriage today; we are about family, everyone, community, other people, and making people happy.
Magician is the man who does. The man who makes. The man himself. Being the one who does. Action, something that is being done or was done. The Magician (man who makes things happen with his willpower) is pictured with the tools of his trade, one arm to heaven and the other pointing to earth in the act of creating or preventing a happening – bringing it down from above. This of course is you: Creating with willpower.
Four of Pentacles is so short of money, and he is keeping it from those people in that town, keeping a secret. He is even hugging himself. He can be a cheapskate, he withholds just about anything (constipated inhibited personality). But he can be a hug! He can be self-restraint, can be self-contained. Four of Pentacles sometimes is someone who has to keep quiet, like High Priestess, because he is so far ahead of others. That isn’t our application today, though.

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Reading below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, our cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

He is thrifty when he is spending on other people.
Paying for a whole family of deadbeats is what is being done here.
Money Secrets (Six of Pentacles + Four of Pentacles)
This is a respectable guy, he keeps where we get that cash a secret.
He keeps what he does for the money a secret from everybody.
Everybody contributes money to this fund that he doesn’t tell them what he does with.
Investing other people’s money for them, some sticks to him.
Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together to mean things.
*Go to Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It describes how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.
Say hello back! Comment! I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you. Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it. Read others’ comments.

Four of Pentacles
Six of Pentacles – Ten of Cups – Magician
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
With Six of Pentacles (paying or receiving money, attention or respect) and Four of Pentacles (secret, budgeting or thrift, holding onto, less, less money) get together, you know it’s about m-o-n-e-y. Then we have Magician … what he does with money or for money, because Magician is to do or make, and is a man.
And of course right in the middle of all this is Ten of Cups, everybody and other people and all the people, the community or family. This enriches the story a lot. It gives us other people’s money being invested, and paying other people’s expenses and making everybody happy.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Six of Pentacles shows an employer weighing in a scale the coins he pays to the help. The scales and ‘paying a fair wage’ concept expands to legal proceedings (but not today). Today is all about paying for things.
Ten of Cups today is everybody as well as the community and the family. The illustration shows a happily-ever-after couple hugging themselves in front of their house in the gated community with the rainbow over it, with two happily-ever-after dancing-for-joy kids.
Magician is the man who does. The man who makes. The man himself. Action, something that is being done or was done. He is pictured with the tools of his trade in the act of affecting some event, no doubt.
Four of Pentacles is so short of money, and he is keeping it from those people in that town, keeping a secret. He is even hugging himself. He can be a cheapskate, he withholds just about anything (constipated personality, you know).
Empress
Strength, Six of Pentacles, Ten of Cups
She makes everybody respect her and is their resource.
She is a sexy gal who is adept at getting everyone’s respect.
Her skill and her being a resource for everybody gets her very well paid.
She is one of those happy prosperous people who make others give her her due.
Everyone is happy with her ability to make ‘slows’ pay their bills.
She is so well off she pays her household bills, she has that under control.
Her ability to make everyone in the family chip in and give her the good life.
She solves the bill paying problem and is so happy to have plenty.
Okay, here we have another manic happily-ever after Girl Story. Tomorrow had better be good after this one! She gets respect, gets the money, makes everybody happy, solves the problems – what more could you want? – oh yeah, there’s marriage. Again.
Strength is the woman who prevents opposition and solves problems by her strength of character: See, the lion can’t snarl at her, she has her hands over his mouth and is petting him. Six of pentacles is any kind of money exchange, especially paying the bills or getting paid. Ten of Cups, well, thar she blows, the ‘happily-ever-after marriage card, which also means everybody and prosperous lives. And the Empress, of course, is the beautiful dame who has plenty, the Fertility Goddess herself.
