Tarot Readings for You for June 19, 2014 Thursday(c)

Guidance      Our transitions involve other people; we take them with us, or we leave them behind, when we move from one circumstance to another. As we look for a better future, and put a past behind, that future and that past are populated, unless we have determined to be a loner on a solitary path. We discuss many aspects of these various scenarios, including things like ‘I see my intimate partner withdrawing’ and ‘Me and my friend are sobering up together.’  The spiritual aspects of friendship permeate these stories too.

I am looking for a better future with an equal.

Together, we search for a better future.

Your future is going to be better with me looking out for your health and healing.

I can see I am better off with a partner.

We are sincerely devoted to one another from now on.

We are going to be close when I am healed.

Show me the way to get out of this together.

I show my close friends a better life.

My close friend is guiding me to a better life.

My truth gives me a better direction that I share with my friend.

We watch our friend get over it.

Deal kindly, and things will be all right.

…..……………..…..……………..

Tarot Readings: Putting Our Past Behind (Six of Swords and Temperance)

We put the past behind and sincerely relate to one another.

Yes, let’s both of us put what we are mindful of behind us.

We are wisely putting something behind us together.

Mutual forgiveness, and move on.

Go forth together in truth and sanity.

…..……………..…..……………..

Tarot Readings: Alone Ahead (Six of Swords and Hermit)

I see, objectively, that I am better off with my partner out of my life.

I am not looking to pair up anymore.

My path is to put close friendship behind.

I see my intimate partner is withdrawing.

He is no friend of mine anymore.

My close friend is not sincere anymore.

I have come to watch my close friend leave – ‘Bon voyage.’

We are going to be close when I heal.

Sincere one-on-one relationships are a thing of the past anymore.

…..……………..…..……………..

Tarot Readings: Sobering Up (Six of Swords and Hermit)

On the way to sobriety, there’s moderation.

To sober up, you part with your drinking buddy.

Me and my friend are sobering up together – it’s a beginning.

Find a friendship on your way to sobering up.

Healing is gradual with counseling.

Sobriety is a spiritual healing.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Six of Swords – Hermit – Temperance

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

…………………….. Six of Swords      is a many-splendored Tarot Verbatim™ card. For instance, since it goes into a future as it puts a past behind, it means both ‘from now on’ and ‘not anymore.’ It can adopt only the sorry past in its story, and it can adopt only the better future, and it can adopt just the leaving, or just the heading for, and it also can adopt the journey itself, such as ‘on the way to.’ It is both a hopeful and a depressing card. Hell, Six of Swords is life itself – your journey and mine, and ours. Interesting that today it appears with Hermit in tow.

……..…..………….Hermit       Hermit too is on a journey. He is out looking, he is out looking to help, he is coming to a person or situation, he is devoted and dedicated, is a religious, is a friend, is sincere, is a counselor or physician (of any kind), he is spiritual, he is on the road at night in the cold or any (part of those three elements), he is wise, and is an old man, and is hence mature. He is patient, sincere, sober and kind. All those things, in any combination.

………….………… Temperance You would think it would mean ‘in moderation’ more often, with that illustration. Temperance is a healing card, including spiritual healing of course, with the angel in the picture. The pouring back and forth (diluting wine with water) makes words and phrases about intimate relationship, partnership, direct and reciprocal communication, and the gets-back-to-you response. Several cards depict an angel or angels, and when more than one appears, consider that ‘angel’ is a word in your sentence.

……..…………………………. Hermit and Temperance have at least three unrelated common meanings. Hermit is sobriety and Temperance is alcohol in moderation. Hermit and Temperance are both about healing. Hermit and Temperance are both close friendship.

….…..………………………. Six of Swords and Hermit   are traveling. Hermit is coming to, and Six of Swords is leaving to get to. Hermit is coming to offer help, and Six of Swords has given up and is leaving the scene. Both are vaguely hopeful in outlook. Together, they are about helping some get over it, or helping someone escape a bad situation, or life improving with counseling, or life improving with sobriety.

These three Rider Waite Tarot cards tell many stories, and we have captured a few of the most resplendent, I trust.

Tarot Readings for You for April 3, 2014 Thursday©

Guidance       Today is about the image or face a person adopts as his/her public persona, and how real or not-real it is.   “Be a grownup man and see that it’s time to leave the boyish image behind.”   “He has the guts to tell you the truth before he leaves.”   The official story told by whoever is in authority tends to head in some direction other than the facts.  “I’m bigger than you, that’s why,” parents used to very frankly say.    Honest people shun the police.   Are we avoiding standing up like a grownup for how we see something?

Tarot Readings: Not that Type of Person Anymore (Six of Swords and Page of Wands)

Be a grownup man and see that it’s time to leave the boyish image behind.

He is not the unbending type he used to be; his style is now realistic.

He is an old man, not his strong young self anymore.

Don’t be so authoritative anymore, just assume a supportive stance.

I’m not good-looking anymore; I’m an old man now.

Watch the young fella go through the phase of being a grown up man.

Avoid being the nice-guy when it is wiser to be the authority.

Truth be told, the manly man is no longer stylish.

Used to be a sober upstanding powerful man.

Tarot Readings: The Official Story (King of Swords and Page of Wands)

People don’t ‘say it the way they see it,’ being their own authority, anymore.

The power people declare something to be true, and we head off in that direction.

Authorities avoid telling the truth.

Tell it like it is … after the boss-man leaves.

We avoid standing up like a grownup for what we can plainly see.

When the power people say that, you can see it’s time to move away.

What the authorities say has enlightened us to go the other way.

It’s a fact the police did tell (us) to leave.

Tarot Readings: Authoritative Guide (King of Swords and Hermit)

He is the man who knows and can tell us how to put the past behind.

He has the power to tell you the objective view, putting all else aside.

Authoritative guide to going out of body.

The doctor says you will get better, and he is the authority on that.

Tarot Readings: Police (King of Swords)

He tells us what he knows about ducking out on enforcement.

Police report he evaded the surveillance.

Authorities search for who was left behind.

Telling honest people to avoid the police.

The young man has left town and the authorities are looking for him.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

The leader who is leaving shows the new kid the way.

Went on with my life the wiser leaving daddy and son behind.

He is man enough to tell you the truth before he leaves.

Leader left on a fact-finding mission, the spokesperson says.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Guys galore in today’s message: the cop (King of Swords), the monk (Hermit) and the tennis pro (Page of Wands) meet here with us.

Six of Swords and Hermit     Both Six of Swords and Hermit are traveling. Six of Swords is leaving this dismal place for something better, and Hermit is coming to help. Six of Swords can be by boat and Hermit can be on foot or by land.

Hermit and Page of Wands      Both Hermit and Page of Wands are honest types. Hermit is on the path, is associated with truth, sincerity and honesty. Page of Wands is the clean-cut well-spoken and well-dressed good-looking young man type. He is the young apprentice; Hermit is the seasoned veteran. He is the student; Hermit is the teacher.

King of Swords is the military man, man of discipline, the grown-up, the cop or authority or soldier (or commanding officer) – the manly man. King of Swords is the leader of the man-pack, the man most men want to be.

Six of Swords is putting something behind you and heading into something else. Usually, you are leaving a bad scene and better times are ahead. It also refers to traveling over water.

The truth … to stand up for it … authority … to head the other way: Those are the four cards today.

Advice is all about being a guy,  whether a hot-blooded or celibate guy or whether a hot-tempered or patient guy.  And about being a husband,  whether the patient husband who isn’t leaving, or the hot-tempered one who is leaving;  whether the husband who helps out or ducks out.  Anger management advice from Tarot here! Being older,  he is no longer the workingman he used to be.   ============================================================================= Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days, if there is one.

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

=============================================================== King of Wands Four of Cups,  Hermit,  Six of Swords   DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS   A Married Man or Husband It’s a fact he can’t avoid being a married man. Husband can see he isn’t leaving. Husband doesn’t come to help –  he leaves the place. Husband can’t get out of helping out. A married man isn’t coming to (you) but leaving (you) behind. You aren’t interested in a married guy,  so the truth is out and so are you. He isn’t as nasty as he used to be but he still refuses to help. He quit looking,  and he isn’t that hot-blooded anymore.   The Angry Man Impulsive (redneck?) man can’t avoid the truth. He is angry but his days of denying the truth are over. The fact is:  He is angry because there’s no way out. He isn’t as nasty as he used to be but he still refuses to help. He angrily refuses counseling and boycotts it. His patience is wearing thin but he keeps from being hot-tempered. There is no way he is going to put this behind him.   Not Getting Angry He is a patient man,  he isn’t going to leave in anger. Things are not as bad as they used to be,  and that’s the truth,  so don’t be frustrated. Don’t let yourself get angry,  delaying and leaving the scene helps patience Just leaving the scene helps with anger,  so don’t be impulsive. With counseling,  he doesn’t get as angry as he used to but holds out against it. He is patient and not hotheaded like he used to be.   General, Things Aren’t the Way They Used to Be Being older,  he is no longer the workingman he used to be. The celibate man has given up the passion he used to have. He quit looking,  and he isn’t that hot-natured anymore. Objectively,  the worst is over but not for the workingman.   =============================================================== Now,  Part Two, Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? =============================================================================   MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD   Four of Cups is not accepting,  refusing,  not having any of that,  not being that way anymore.  Six of Swords is leaving that behind and going off somewhere else. The two together mean things like  ‘isn’t going to leave.’   (Hermit and Six of Swords both have the idea of a helper and travel in them,  but that does not apply that much in today’s spread.)   Then things get interesting.  What the other two cards have in common is a contrast:  Hermit is a patient,  helpful man who comes to another;  King of Wands is the angry,  irritated,  hot-tempered guy.  Hermit is celibate;  King of Wands is hot-blooded.   MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS   Four of Cups is not accepting,  refusing,  not having any of that,  not being that way anymore.  In Rider Waite, a person is seated with arms and legs crossed and head averted as if to say  “No! No more of that.”   Hermit is the monk who goes out of his way to help travelers on the road at night.  He is kind, he is ‘on the path’  and he is celibate.  He is also searching or looking. These are his main meanings.   Six of Swords doesn’t live there anymore,  has left the bad scene for a better life,  has put something behind.  Putting distance between.  A woman and child are being helped to leave like refugees.   King of Wands is a married man,  a husband,  an impulsive,  hot-blooded,  hot-headed,  hot-tempered fellow,  sometimes a redneck type.  He is pictured red-headed,  looking irritated on his throne.  He is the workingman,  too.   All the contents of this blog are copyrighted. Rider-Waite Tarot reading 1-29-11

Looking for a job, maybe out of town

Eight of Pentacles
Page of Cups, Six of Swords, Hermit

Avoids asking for help, every time.
Know to avoid doing something stupid.
Dummy will get over it and learn how to do it professionally.
When he is dumb about how to do something, he looks for a way out of doing it.
Looking for some way to get out of doing the same thing over and over.
The way to avoid questions is to demonstrate doing it.
Ask for help, but times will be better on the job.
Would be silly to leave when there’s professional help coming.
Keep doing (it) the same way, the way you know how, to avoid looking foolish.
Now he is doing the honest sincere things and isn’t suspect anymore.
Looking for a job, maybe out of town.
His job is to look for people who left under suspicious circumstances.
Keeps asking people who are leaving for help.
Inspect the work so maybe things won’t be as bad.
The helping professions make weird situations not as bad as they were.
Why look for a job when you will be leaving?
Avoid something stupid, his job is to watch you.
He keeps teaching, why doesn’t he just leave?

Well, today’s Saturday, and this talks about work, job. It’s fairly miscellaneous, too. Maybe I will do another if I have time.
