Tarot Readings for You for August 30, 2017 Wednesday©

Today is Wednesday – Email reading day.  Here’s a gal who wants to know what on earth to do next with her life. I broke her inquiry down to get a meaningful email answer.

The Tarot Email Training will start any time now; techs are testing it. September 1 is the first installment. To those of you who are waiting patiently or anxiously: It’s coming, stay tuned.

How I should spend my time in the next year is a better way to put it. I could travel the world, I could go back to school, I could go back home and get another job. Or something I’m not yet seeing or thinking of.

.

.

(Emily’s Comment: Going to school and traveling the world can be combined. Prestigious universities overseas (Oxford University; L’ecole Polytechnique, and others) have classes in English that result in degrees, and they are far far far cheaper and far more respected internationally than U S universities are now. Bonus is that getting a job overseas is a LOT easier if you are not a United States school graduate. Tuition is a mere $5,000 at some of these schools. Stansberry Research (financial newsletters) is where I learned about this.)

.

You have four parts to your question here. Let’s measure by how pleased you are two years after you do each of these three things you name, and then ask the ‘what else?’ question.

.

.

How pleased with the outcome will I be after two years if

I travel the world?

Tarot Readings for You for February 13, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Guidance  Today is about putting the finishing touches on an achievement, about getting an A+, about getting over something once and for all, about graduating and getting on with life.  Today we congratulate ourselves.  When you have perfected overcoming, people avoid challenging you, much less dominating or intimidating you.  It works. You can be a girl; you can be an infant:  You don’t have to look scary, just be able to handle yourself in any situation, and be aware of that.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time?  Come in!  People love this place!  Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need.  ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day.  ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying.  Tarot can come up with a wide variety of sentences (sometimes even completely contradictory sentences!) in a group reading as there is no specific question being asked.  So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Want even more insight and information about a specific situation in your life? Call me, Emily, at 1-800-993-6912 and talk to me personally and have yourself a live, in detail, Tarot Reading like no other you may ever have had before. Your call will support 500 acres of wildlife in an animal sanctuary where I live and call home.

Also, don’t be shy about talking to the Community of Users in the comment section below. You’ll find this as the very last thing on this site. Trust me when I say we would *love* to hear from you!

Headings [So you can choose which belongs to you]

Tarot Readings:  Overcome Successfully (Strength + Ace of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings:  Money as a Motivator (Strength + Ace of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings:  Threat, Insubordination, intimidation, Domination (Ace of Swords)

Miscellaneous Tarot Reading

Tarot Readings:  Overcome Successfully (Strength + Ace of Pentacles)

After you succeed at overcoming this challenge, you go on from there.

And now that  I’ve demonstrated the skill to handle it, I have to go out and make money with it.

Mastering the subject with an A+ gets you underway.

I did it!  I got over it!  I’m on my way out of here!

It’s one thing to be skilled enough to handle it, and entirely another to conquer and perfect it.

The very best victory is to get a grip on your own dark side, and go on quietly from there.

As time goes by, you will be making things perfect by the way you handle them.

I am leaving as the winner, the one who straightened things out.

We won, we beat them, we got the prize money, and it’s over.

Got to get on down the road to the next problem to solve.

She handles this aggression perfectly; it’s no threat to her.

Tarot Readings:  Money as a Motivator (Strength + Ace of Pentacles)

Hard times are over, there’s enough money to keep things under control, and that’s an achievement.

We have to go out and demonstrate making money with this.

We won, we beat them, we got the prize money, and it’s over.

I avoid overtly threatening them; I motivate them with rewards instead.

Tarot Readings:  Threat, Insubordination, intimidation, Domination (Ace of Swords)

This person is no threat to her anymore; she handled the situation just right.

She can handle any insubordination so well that they avoid her.

When you have self-control and are on your path, people avoid trying to dominate or intimidate you.

She handles this aggression perfectly; it’s no threat to her.

Miscellaneous Tarot Reading

If she is going to be a success and handle herself like that, she’s going to have to leave here.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Well! She who overcomes (Strength) is appearing with total victory (Ace of Swords), optimum success (Ace of Pentacles) and putting whatever the bad things are behind (Six of Swords). You can go now.  We’re done. There’s three cards of victory or winning, and one that says ‘no more trouble.’

When you have perfected overcoming, people avoid challenging you, much less dominating or intimidating you.  It works.  You can be a girl; you can be an infant:  You don’t have to look scary, just be able to handle yourself in any situation, and be aware of that.

Today is about putting the finishing touches on an achievement, about getting an A+, about getting over something once and for all, about graduating and getting on with life.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Strength    Enough social insight, people skills, spiritual stature, sheer nerve, and you finesse situations that would otherwise be a challenge.  You make opponents accept you.  You have the magic touch, they say.  You get cooperation because no one wants to fight with someone who is a born winner.  The illustration shows a woman with the eternity sign (repeating numbers in math) as a halo, who is wearing a white dress with flower garlands.  She is holding the mouth of a wannabe attacking lion shut with her bare hands, and he is purring in spit of his real feelings.  The lion whisperer, she is.

Ace of Pentacles    is when you get it just right.  You’re on the right track.  You have money.  You win.  You succeed.  Things are going your way.  You are right on, and you are right.  The illustration stands for the ‘straight and narrow’ of Christian culture, and for ‘the right-hand path’ in occult culture, and probably for ‘the middle way’ in Buddhist culture.  The hand with the gold star of reward is held over the golden path that begins with lilies and ends with a victory trellis.

Ace of Swords    The victor is crowned with laurel leaves.  Here we have a crown crowed with laurel leaves with the upraised sword of victory upholding it, a very redundant way of saying ‘victory,’ and ‘the winner.’  Of course when there’s a total victory on one side, something or someone on the other side experiences a total defeat. (Always remember the action the cards express goes both ways, and the situation the cards depict embraces all the sides, parts and people involved in the illustration.)

Six of Swords    is about getting out, getting over, avoiding and surviving, putting the past situation behind and going on to a better one … better because the past is so devastating.  Today we use the ‘avoiding’ and the ‘leaving there’ more than anything else – because there’s no bad scene in our story today.  The illustration shows a mother and child being paddled away as refugees, by a presumed friend.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

*Without a question* in a group reading to focus the answer, the four Tarot cards can mean quite contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no,’ ‘never’ or ‘not.’ These negative modifiers can apply to any one of the other cards.
*Without a question* in a group reading, the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) are more flexible. Whenever you see a pronoun in parentheses, please *feel very free* to substitute another pronoun than the one used. I try to drop pronouns when possible, which, if you’ve noticed, can make for awkward phrasing.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In an individual situation, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

We have been wondering here lately whether the Tarot Verbatim(TM) sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than they are for people who visit this site only once in awhile or for a short time. Would you help us with a comment please, if you have not been a regular visitor? Just let us know if the sentences are relevant to you. So far, people say they do apply.

Return to this site often and you can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim(TM) works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Rider Waite Tarot cards with very little effort.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Strength and Ace of Swords win over opposition. Ace of Swords is a decisive victory in which the opponent is defeated – it’s all or nothing, the win is definitive, decisive and declared. Like an election, when coming in second is losing publicly.

Strength is finessing an opponent in such a way he is converted or has to agree with you. She is making the lion who came against her her pet. He is purring in agreement and doesn’t like it a bit. That is a diplomatic victory.

Strength and Knight of Cups are diplomatic. Strength shows the kind of victory in which the opponent is still there and working with you, and Knight of Cups shows the diplomatic approach – the friendliness, the openness, the initiative-taking.

Strength = Knight of Cups + Ace of Swords, victory through diplomacy.

Wheel of Fortune is the victory of which the other Rider Waite Tarot cards speak. It means an optimum result, a wonderful event, a happening, fortune and luck and gambling.

So our story is that you get the best result by being both agreeable and assertive. Also that coincidence determines what happens to us, and we have to accept that.

Strength      Strength is finessing an opponent in such a way he is converted or has to agree with you. She is making the lion who came against her her pet. He is purring in agreement and doesn’t like it a bit. That is a diplomatic victory.
Knight of Cups shows the diplomatic approach – the friendliness, the openness, the initiative-taking. This is the person everyone likes, the winning personality, the fellow with the helpful suggestions and the help. He is the go-between, the one who introduces people socially, and the warm fuzzy boyfriend. He wears Mercury’s wings on his helmet and extends the cup of friendship in his illustration.
Ace of Swords     Force is sometimes the only way, when it’s a win-or-lose situation, pass or fail. Then you gotta do what you gotta do. Enforcement is making others do. When the battle is over, victory is sweet. Ace of Swords is the proof, the last word, the point being made forcefully: no ifs ands or buts. The sword upraised and crowned, the laurel strands, make Ace of Swords’ meaning clear.
Wheel of Fortune        The Laws of Random Distribution create and prevent events. They influence me, and there’s no other way than to accept it. Would you rather be lucky than brilliant? Life’s a gamble. The concept is illustrated by a roulette wheel with God’s Hebrew name in the center, and all sorts of mythical out-there critters who are reading or writing in books surrounding the wheel, at the margins in the clouds.

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Winning makes you happy, but overcoming gets you going

Knight of Wands Three of Cups, Strength, Ace of Swords

To make yourself happy, you have to handle this in a hurry. He has won, he is well on his way to celebrating with the woman who handled some of his obstacles. He went all out for her to be the winner, but she handled things herself. Winning makes you happy, but overcoming gets you going. A forceful hands-on approach to getting problems out of the way quickly wins the day. Put everything you’ve got into overcoming in this pivotal struggle, and you will be so happy. The joy of engaging and defeating the opposition gets your blood moving. She exerts a forceful influence that gets those girls going, and everyone is happy. She is on her way to celebrating victorious living, having overcome even her own resistance. Challenging this woman gets her fighting spirit up:  She wins and he leaves the field to her. The girls pool their resources, meet their challenges, and are on their way to the good life. Strong women who stick together win fast. She gets women to go all out in pursuit of prosperity. At first glance, the girls win and the guy flees:  It’s a battle.  But there’s a lot more going on when you look a little.  There’s overcoming a challenge, and getting going or getting one’s blood moving.  And the guy can be pursuing victory, not fleeing someone else’s.  The girls celebrate, though, that’s for sure.  So we have several scenarios, which I unwound in due course. Smack in the middle is the Strength card, which in Rider Waite Tarot is having the character to overcome without a battle, to have such an influence about you that the monster doesn’t want to eat you.   It means spiritual overcoming, and the figure who has the lion purring is without question female.  Next to her is the Ace of Swords which means victory by force, winning, and challenging.  And on the other side of her is the celebrating … girls celebrating a good life, that lovely Three of Cups.  On top is the Knight of Wands, putting all his energy into the pursuit … or the flight, depending.  These are the pieces that make the messages above. A victory is the direct and main subject of both he Three of Cups and the Ace of Swords.  The Strength card is also about overcoming, which is a victory.  Women or a woman winning is in the Three of Cups and the Strength card.  The idea of going all out for something is in the Ace of Swords and the Knight of Wands. Advice is some battles are won before any blood is on the floor.  Advice is to lunge into high gear and grab your win from the opposing factors directly.  Exert your influence expertly, surgically, and forcefully but deftly.  A sure win is under your hand.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Three of Cups: These girls get together and celebrate; they have pooled their investment and made a whopping profit they share.  The harvest is at their feet, and the sky is all blue. Strength: She loves her enemy, you see.  She gets on the good side of the monster by having such an influence about her that he doesn’t want to mess with her, so he submits to friendly contact with someone he really would rather eat.  You go, girl. Ace of Swords: Win.  Victory.  Challenge.  Totally one way.  Those are the meanings we use today anyway, the easiest ones, because there’s the hand with the sword in it that is crowned with victory. Knight of Wands: He is all in a lather getting going out of town in a hurry, or in hot pursuit of something or someone.  This is exertion, giving it your all, going all out – today’s emphasis.

A sudden big unexpected win, when losing was a sure thing

Knight of Pentacles Five of Cups, Wheel of Fortune, Knight of Swords

Focus is on getting back a lost opportunity. This is your big chance:  Take it and run with it, or be the loser. Something wonderful comes along while you are feeling so sad or sorry:  Watch for it. A miraculous recovery from his focus on past losses. A miraculous recovery from focusing on past losses. That miracle, to change when you are down, is what you are looking for. He can see his destiny changing as he bounces back from heartsickness. This is the one opportune time to capitalize on that loss. To quit drinking, he focused on making that one thing happen. He knew the loss had to happen to fuel the getaway. Keep your eye on the ball of grand opportunity and reverse that loss. One big chance to turn things around from despondency. A sudden big unexpected win, when losing was a sure thing. One thing on his mind:  To snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. A sudden loss focuses you/him on one thing:  the turnaround. This one win makes up for all his losses. Only a miracle can save the day, it’s sooo bad. When you hit bottom like this, luck can change fast. He is so down, and he is looking for that stroke of luck. That grand opportunity happens in the nick of time:  just before you go under. This is pretty much all these four say – as if we asked for more!  Smack in the middle is the grand Wheel-of-Fortune opportunity, the miracle, the big chance, the lucky strike, the jackpot.  Next is the fast Knight-of-Swords turnaround:  Yay!  To the left is the dismal depressing sad past you are sorry about, the Five of Miserable Cups.  Overall is the focus-on-one-thing Knight of Pentacles. Notice that today’s two spreads have the same message:  victory that is coming FAST.  Each spread features a dude on a horse hurrying, and each spread ends in a dude on a horse.  Three knights in shining armor!  Not bad for an eight-card pantheon. Advice is, once again, to seize the day, be looking for that crack of light in the dark tunnel of despair that is the first glimmer of turnaround.  It’s coming fast.  The Wheel of Fortune is not about finding ten bucks in the grocery store; it is about a pivotal lucky destiny.  The concept of capitalizing on a loss may refer to taxes for some visitor here.  This second spread is a guy’s perspective; the first one was about a girl’s.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Five of Cups: Oh, woe is me, I focus on what is spilled more than the cups that are filled.  It’s a gray day, and I’m all droopy in my black robes.  Wah, I’m a big loser and I’ll never get over it, I just look back enveloped in sorrow and sorry. Wheel of Fortune: Miracle.  Luck.  Destiny.  Jackpot.  It happens.  Grand opportunity/opportune  The big chance.  Illustration has occult symbols of fate, and a roulette-wheel looking thing in the center. Knight of Swords: The last-minute turnaround strikes, this time right after the jackpot miracle.  Can you think of a better place for that?  He is pictured full speed ahead brandishing his weapon, eyes on the prize. Knight of Pentacles: He has one thing on his mind, he does.  His eye is on the prize, too.  And he is a tough guy who will reach out and grab it, not politely at all.  You know what they say about thugs like him:  It’s good to have him on your side.
