Guidance A person whose inner conflicts are resolved is mature. A spiritual person whose inner conflicts are resolved is spiritually mature, and therefore repels people and entities who are looking for a fight. Maturity is a cloak of invisibility. In social life, people are nice and polite to someone who looks as if he or she can easily handle a clash without any fuss but isn’t looking for one. Muggers don’t select the martial artist to accost. In spiritual life, a seasoned veteran is simply not the one to pick on either. In romantic life, a mature person can mellow the younger soul so there’s hardly any quarreling.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Tarot Readings: Romantic Initiative: (Knight of Cups and World, Knight of Cups and Strength)
He is her affectionate companion while she handles the ordeal: She has no complaints about him.
How I love a strong woman who won’t put up with anything and can handle everything that is thrown at her!
He is a softie who loves the way she fixes up his mess and then acts like it wasn’t there.
He loves her through the upheavals and helps her handle them so no scandal sticks to her.
She makes opponents back off and keep their distance by direct action, and he confuses them with his diplomatic charm.
She straightens out the mixed-up young man by not paying attention when he is annoying.
He is one crazy mixed-up charming dreamer that she keeps at arm’s length but is hands-on with.
She is a very assertive nude dancer that he has gone gaga over.
Such a relaxing boyfriend to have for a woman who handles all kinds of combat all day.
This shapely dame can get him to do anything to be her boyfriend.
People don’t know what to make of it: He is such a nice guy, and she is so pushy.
He is in love with such a trophy woman. Her touch makes him fall to pieces.
He takes the initiative to be affectionate and the shapely gal is assertive too: unbelievable!
Tarot Readings: Woman who Has It Under Control (Strength and World)
She is unruffled as she and her helper handle a chaotic scene.
She nicely prevents the scurrilous attacks and clears her space.
She is a master of spiritual conflict: To her, bad spirits are nice.
Because she straightens people out when they get out of hand, they are agreeable and give her no problems.
She is incredibly good at both defensive and offensive conflict, so they seek a truce.
He is so grateful she tamed the craziness out of him that he gives her no offense.
The reason she can keep to herself is: The way she handles herself, crazy people stay out of her way.
She civilizes that crazy place by the way she handles herself: She just won’t put up with shit.
Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Knight of Cups
Strength – Seven of Cups – World
.
The first three cards (Strength and Seven of Cups and World) refer to spirits and things spiritual. You could even say that
= + – that ability to handle anything keeps everything (everyone) out of your hair.
Strength is so spiritually adept and has such spiritual character the attacking lion ends up in her hands purring. Her hands hold his mouth shut, and he is liking it.
World repels the lion (predator) before it gets to her. World deflects; Strength handles. Both intimidate.
Seven of Cups is about out-of-control spirits on the loose creating havoc and chaos. It is about panic and brain fog, scattered thoughts, being in shock, confused and amazed. In this spread, the spirits are more literal, and are part of the message of maturity handling unstable situations.
Strength and Seven of Cups straightens out the mess. You see that, right?
World is master of both good and evil spirits and circumstances, and therefore goes unnoticed by predatory types.
Both Strength and World are superior females and adepts. Socially, Strength is the type of gal who sets things and people straight, can handle whatever comes up, and overcomes. World is in her own world, so superior she is dancing to rhythms of some other plane, not mindful of earth plane.
Knight of Cups is the card that does not fit in with the themes of other three, which I call being the spoiler card. Knight of Cups is the born salesman, the friendly fellow who gets people to agree, the sentimental boyfriend … the diplomat. With the two dominant women, Strength and World, the welcome mat is out for the sweet and pliant Knight.
Besides the spirits of chaos being on the loose – and of course growing out of that scene – Seven of Cups means a mess of any sort, including debris from, say, a storm. This contrasts with World, who has her own clear space around her, and with Strength, who straightens things out.
We also say that Strength has tamed Knight of Cups, that she gets the guy who loves her to do anything for her. Knight of Cups is a helper, so here he is helping her to overcome, too. The diplomatic Knight and the assertive Strength make a team as well.
When you add Seven of Cups, she can get the boy to do anything to be her boyfriend, and he is crazy about her, and he is the crazy boyfriend.
.
Strength handles and overcomes actual or potential opposition and/or attacks. Just by being who she is, she disarms opposition … makes the lion purr who wants to roar. Concept is that she is so mature spiritually she handles the conflict on a higher plane and it does not get expressed on the physical. The illustration shows the lion’s mouth being shut by her deft touch. (This spiritual process leads to the World card.)
Seven of Cups is the chaos and miasma created by spirits from the astral (emotional plane), a lower plane, running loose in our real (physical) world. Someone is ‘a loose cannon.’ Things scattered about, or the mess after a storm’s destruction. Confusion, dementia, craziness, disordered thoughts of any kind. Seven of Cups is to lose control, which arises from the magician having lost control of his spirits in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story, or the bad spirits getting loose in the Pandora’s Box story.
World achieves spiritual maturity and therefore repels troublemakers without doing anything but be himself or herself. (The figure is supposed to be androgynous (both genders) after the idea in metaphysics that superior people reach that state. Illustration shows the person inside a circle and all the strange beings outside the circle are looking some other way.
Knight of Cups emphasizes being agreeable and affectionate. He takes initiative in social exchanges of any nature. He agrees, he gets people to agree, he accepts and is accepted. He is the sweet natured lovable fellow on the young side who is our friend. Illustration is drawn with curved relaxed lines and is in pastels. The horse looks like a merry-go-round horsey, is standing still with one foot up in front and back. The Knight wears mercury’s wings on his helmet and extends the cup of friendship.

Strength – Knight of Cups – Ace of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
Strength and Ace of Swords win over opposition. Ace of Swords is a decisive victory in which the opponent is defeated – it’s all or nothing, the win is definitive, decisive and declared. Like an election, when coming in second is losing publicly.
Strength is finessing an opponent in such a way he is converted or has to agree with you. She is making the lion who came against her her pet. He is purring in agreement and doesn’t like it a bit. That is a diplomatic victory.
Strength and Knight of Cups are diplomatic. Strength shows the kind of victory in which the opponent is still there and working with you, and Knight of Cups shows the diplomatic approach – the friendliness, the openness, the initiative-taking.
Strength = Knight of Cups + Ace of Swords, victory through diplomacy.
Wheel of Fortune is the victory of which the other Rider Waite Tarot cards speak. It means an optimum result, a wonderful event, a happening, fortune and luck and gambling.
So our story is that you get the best result by being both agreeable and assertive. Also that coincidence determines what happens to us, and we have to accept that.

Strength Strength is finessing an opponent in such a way he is converted or has to agree with you. She is making the lion who came against her her pet. He is purring in agreement and doesn’t like it a bit. That is a diplomatic victory. |
Knight of Cups shows the diplomatic approach – the friendliness, the openness, the initiative-taking. This is the person everyone likes, the winning personality, the fellow with the helpful suggestions and the help. He is the go-between, the one who introduces people socially, and the warm fuzzy boyfriend. He wears Mercury’s wings on his helmet and extends the cup of friendship in his illustration. |
Ace of Swords Force is sometimes the only way, when it’s a win-or-lose situation, pass or fail. Then you gotta do what you gotta do. Enforcement is making others do. When the battle is over, victory is sweet. Ace of Swords is the proof, the last word, the point being made forcefully: no ifs ands or buts. The sword upraised and crowned, the laurel strands, make Ace of Swords’ meaning clear. |
Wheel of Fortune The Laws of Random Distribution create and prevent events. They influence me, and there’s no other way than to accept it. Would you rather be lucky than brilliant? Life’s a gamble. The concept is illustrated by a roulette wheel with God’s Hebrew name in the center, and all sorts of mythical out-there critters who are reading or writing in books surrounding the wheel, at the margins in the clouds. |
Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.
Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .
Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)
Horoscopes are group readings too.
Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)
Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.
Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.
The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
.
After I typed some sentences, I noticed some things I didn’t at first. The first three cards (Strength, Seven of Cups and World) refer to spirits and things spiritual. Strength is so spiritually adept and has such spiritual character the attacking lion ends up in her hands purring for all his friends to see. Seven of Cups is about chaos and loose spirits out of control. World is, once again, a master of both sides, both worlds, and is sacrosanct and untouchable.
.
Both Strength and World are superior females, adepts. Socially, Strength is the type of gal who sets things straight and overcomes. World is in her own world, so superior she is dancing to the drums in some other plane and is untouchable.
.
The spoiler card, the one that limits the others, is Knight of Cups, the sweetnatured diplomatic helpful affectionate man. This immediately suggests a sweet fella with a strong lady who is as assertive as he is pliant.
.
Then we have Seven of Cups meaning a mess of any sort, including debris from, say, a storm. This contrasts with World, who has her own clear space around her, and with Strength, who straightens things out.
.
You could also say that Knight of Cups is very tame, and Strength has tamed the lion, but that is kind of a reach. When you add Seven of Cups, though, she can get the boy to do anything to be her boyfriend.
.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Strength handles and overcomes actual or potential opposition and/or attacks. By her nature, she disarms opposition … makes the lion purr who wants to roar. Concept is that she is so mature spiritually she handles the conflict on a higher plane and it does not get expressed on the physical. The illustration shows the lion’s mouth being shut by her deft touch. (This spiritual process leads to the World card.)
Seven of Cups is the chaos and miasma done by spirits from the astral, a lower plane, running loose and running amok. Someone who is ‘a loose cannon.’ Debris scattered after a storm’s destruction. Nutsy ideation, bizarre ideas or notions. Craziness, a mess. Illustration is about the Pandora’s Box or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story: spirits out of control that were released.
World achieves spiritual maturity and therefore repels troublemakers without doing anything but be himself or herself. (The figure is supposed to be both genders … long story.) Very similar to Strength, except Strength is hands-on and World isn’t. Illustration shows the person inside a circle and all the strange heads of beings outside are looking the other way.
Knight of Cups emphasizes being agreeable and affectionate. He takes initiative whether romantically or diplomatically in social exchanges. He is the sweet-natured lovable fellow on the young side who is your friend. Illustration is drawn with curved relaxed lines and is in pastels. The horse looks like a merry-go-round horsey, is standing still with one foot up in front and back. The Knight wears mercury’s wings on his helmet and extends the cup of friendship.
