Guidance |
It’s not just what you do; it’s what you know about what you do. An expert is often someone who knows when not to do, or knows how much not to do. We talk about this passive role, talk about things like letting your lawyers, or letting the experts, do their thing … letting your world turn without you for the night.
Could This Be You?
Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few
Tarot Email Training emails from Emily.

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.
GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.
SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.
LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.
WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.
WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Synopsis |
Knowing, all by itself, is a key ingredient in competence. If you think about it, an expert knows when not to do something, and how much to not do. (A professional hotel room cleaner told me the way they hired was to watch you clean and, if you used too much material, they knew you didn’t know your stuff, and didn’t hire you.) You solidly occupy a niche, as an expert, at work when you know everything there is to know about that task. Often, you are stuck there because you are so useful there … and that is why High Priestess means both ‘to know it all’ and ‘to stay put.’
Learn Single Tarot Cards By Pictures |
Justice naturally owns the legal words and phrases. It means courtroom, legal proceedings, lawyer, judge, police, prosecutor, legal authority, enforce, etc. – all of them, right down to regulators, city commission, fish cops and dogcatchers. Justice most commonly translates should, ought, right, sane, entitled, deserve, proper, correct, commit or committed, and it’s the ‘legal’ of legal marriage. It will show up as a support card, unpaired, for a marriage theme … like it’s standing by.
The scales in the illustration bring ‘balance’ words into the purview of this Justice card.
Eight of Pentacles shows a worker at the job site, a carpenter who is hammering out one after another item. This hammering brings meanings to Eight of Pentacles like steady, constant, persist, often, always, usually, keeping at it, labor, doing something hands-on, being the one to do a task, having a job. It expands ‘labor’ to labor parties, labor expense, etc.
High Priestess sits there in the midst of all sorts of esoteric paraphernalia. There the sliver of a moon at her feet. There’s those pomegranates that I think have something to do with Kabbalah. There’s the ‘B’ and ‘J’ pillars that represent the poles ‘justice’ and ‘mercy’ definitely from Kabbalah. Her crown is borrowed from pre-Egyptian civilizations. And of course in her lap is the book of wisdom ‘TARO,’ which appears as ‘ROTA’ in Wheel of Fortune (It means wheel and wheel of fortune, a very ancient word that we get ‘rotate’ from.)
High Priestess, as the number two, represents the feminine principle of knowing and not being active, esoterically speaking.
In real life, High Priestess is about knowing, staying in one place, not taking initiative, being passive, secret, being female (You never see this card representing a male animal or person, just as you never see Magician representing a female animal or person – although when used as the characteristic, not the person, each can apply to both genders.), being alone (or single). High Priestess is sedentary (sitting, staying in one place) and can be a secretary or bookkeeper because of the book she has.
Now Without The Pictures |
.Each of these cards has several meanings that get along nicely with the others, which makes for more sentences. In the center is Eight of Pentacles which is about work, about doing something routinely, regularly, usually or even always: it owns those cards. To the left is ‘should’ and ‘right’ – Justice – as well as legal, sane, proper, as well as ‘deserve’ and ‘committed.’ To the right is High Priestess: things spiritual, higher planes, knowing (knowing it all), not active (passive, not doing anything, letting it be, etc.), a lady, and secret – even classified. High Priestess is the feminine principle of knowing and not acting, as Magician is the male principle of acting … and not knowing, esoterically speaking.
Some zany sentences come from these that I did not include – things like ‘On the mental plane, I am working on my sanity.’
Today, nuances of the meanings of these cards appear in the “Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:” section.

Guidance We trace the concept of exerting ourselves, of getting up and out and moving around in the sunshine, into throwing ourselves into activity, then into engaging in competition, then fighting for something, and then fighting for dominance … all 360 degrees. The reward can be winning, but also can be the activity itself … you know, the joy of combat. We also cover avoiding conflict. “Being threatened with violence releases my inhibitions,” someone says.
