Page of Wands
You can see what a proud good-looking well-dressed young fellow he is. He looks like he is speaking up (and that’s what he is supposed to look like). Page of Wands’ main words are all about speak/say/tell. He is the salesperson and is Prince Charming. Another main meaning of his is about being in good shape. He is the adviser too. Page of Wands is every mother’s favorite son and every girl’s Prince Charming. He even means ‘reputation’ and has a good one. Besides all this, Page of Wands is ‘he.’ And other pronouns. He is a pronoun theme card.
Three of Pentacles
This is one of the busiest cards; it shows up all over the place, violating the Laws of Random Distribution. Its repertoire of meanings just happens to include what most questions are about: relationships, business, meetings, romance, money, agreement, deals and dealing with other people; being a member of a circle of people or a team, a contract, and parties doing their part.
The way Three of Pentacles means these things – and mainly these things – is that its story shows a general contractor architect meeting with the clients he has the contract with, and demonstrating to them that he has earned his last draw which represents his profit – demonstrating that with the blueprint.
Five of Cups
At a glance, you know Five of Cups is loss, mourning, maybe a plague of alcohol, and spills. Under a solid gray sky, a figure in the black robes of mourning, head bent down, surveys spilled wine, his back to the still-full containers. In the distance is a bridge that may be saying ‘That’s water under the bridge.’
Today Five of Cups is wishing it hadn’t, is sorry, has failed, has lost all kinds of ways, lacks, and is so sick of the downside he suffers. This sad card represents a person who is going through hell, or who has gone through hell.

Here we picture a scene of people getting together and talking with a person – an upbeat respectable salesman-type outgoing personality – about some loss or some regrettable circumstance they share in business or in personal life. You could say the good-news approach to bad news times. There are other ways to arrange the pictures (We are like a Thematic Apperception Test with our three pics here.) of course.
Page of Wands and Three of Pentacles is an adviser talking at a business meeting, or making a presentation. This pair of cards also is a fellow – a good-guy good-looking fellow – who is in, or who talking about, a relationship, or who is assuring another person (or other people) he is doing his part in the romance or the business at hand.
