Page of Pentacles – Page of Pentacles here has a fraternal Tarot twin: Page of Wands. Pages are apprentice knights, so they are young novices who aim to fit into their environment and please the people who are engaged in making knights of them. So Three of Pentacles – doing your part, and engaging in a social commercial exchange – is a card you would expect this Page to combine with.

Page of Pentacles has few and well-defined meanings, which makes him a good anchor card (a card you look to early to determine what the spread is all about). His main meanings are (1) about thinking, feeling, knowing, seeing – also expressed as opinion and idea. (2), Page of Pentacles is an identity card, which brings in simple pronoun meanings. Here are the phrases we use that belong to this identity category of his meanings: I am the one who; you are my type of person; as you identify with; he is his best self; envisioning myself; It’s you who; what you are about; I am your type of person; who I really am.

Today we use two of Page of Pentacles’ minor vocabulary words. Remember pages want to please people – so he is well-intentioned. ‘He means well.’ Also, once in a while, the fact our page is holding his pentacle interprets as possessing: ‘It’s your very own.’
Three of Pentacles – These people have accomplished their involved and complex purpose: building a part of the cathedral the way the Order envisioned it. That involved people getting paid, and paying those people. The architect has a contract to be the middle man; he did not do the hands-on work. He agreed for a price to find the workers, and to deliver the finished product for the agreed upon price in the agreed upon time. He has finished the project, is is right now demonstrating and explaining to his clients that he did follow the blueprint, and the contract, and has earned his final draw which represents his profit. This meeting is a happy one; it represents a great work done.

Three of Pentacles is all the elements of the story of these people’s meeting, but it isn’t limited to commercial endeavors; it is the main relationship Tarot card, and ‘relationship’ is its default translation. Here are the words from today’s readings about this: I meet you; a relationship, a meeting of minds; members of your circle; meet that person; in your company; to be in a relationship; getting along with these folks; the relationship; people around you; people he deals with; we meet; do his part in this relationship; through the people I deal with; to engage in; we can work it out; we get together for an exchange.

Three of Pentacles often refers to profit, payoff, making money, buying, selling, the market, success together, making a go of it, a deal, dealing, and team. People getting together to get something done are a team.
Hanged Man – Here’s one of those Rider Waite Tarot cards from the think/feel/see/understand Tarot tribe. Hanged Man’s specialty in his tribe is ‘get it’ or ‘capiche.’ And Hanged Man also specializes in paranormal brainwork. This is the card for anything psychic, for envisioning and foreseeing and hunches – anything from a major enlightenment or big vision to that flash of hindsight that makes us say ‘I always knew that’ when some fact about what’s going on around us lights up our head. Hanged Man is mindreading, telepathy, clairvoyance, and ‘a little birdie told me.’

And you can see in the picture the head lighting up. And the upside-down feeling you get when your perception is instantly rearranged by a disruptive newcomer splashing into your personal data bank. That’s an intense feeling, and Hanged Man often means ‘intense’ or ‘intense feeling.’

But our otherworldly guy hanging from the tree there also has the very common meanings like: feeling, inspire, thrilled, turned on, urge, picturing, the minute you see it, a brilliant idea, the subconscious, subconscious idea or inspiration, realize and recognize. Uh, I forgot to tell you ‘realize’ is Hanged Man’s favorite word.

This illustration is of course what brings all these meanings together for Hanged Man. A number of myths the world around involve the main character hanging himself on a tree for three days to get ‘wisdom’ from the god. As the story goes on, you see that ‘wisdom’ is psychic awareness and psychic powers, magic powers.

Three of Pentacles – You see three people getting together to settle up their contract in the picture here. Three of Pentacles is all about people getting together, about relationships – all kinds! You see a group of people, and Three of Pentacles is all about groups of people (or groups of other animate beings). So it translates very general terms like: everybody, those people, them, together, friends, meeting, associate or ‘be around.’

And relationship. All kinds, as I said. Personal, industrial, adverse (even litigation), people who get together to work out an agreement, or work out a disagreement. A relationship that is mutual, that works. (We work it out.)
.
Three of Pentacles is business and commerce: sales transactions, budget meetings, deals, marketing, doing things together. Three of Pentacles is agreements and living up to them.
Hanged Man – You see what I call his ‘energy halo,’ his head on fire? There’s a slang phrase ‘your hair on fire’ that reflects that feeling. We say things are ‘upside-down’ too, to express that same dazed but energized feeling – and Hanged Man is upside-down. So the emphasis on this card is on the head: thinking, feeling, seeing. That’s an easy handle for Hanged Man meanings – a lot of them at least.

The origin of this strange illustration is at least three myths in which the god or hero sacrifices his body part on a tree that he hangs himself on for three days to get ‘wisdom.’ And it’s plain that the ‘wisdom’ is psychic or magic powers and abilities.
.
So most of Hanged Man’s applications are about: think, know, understand, idea, realize, get it remind and ‘on my mind.’ Hanged Man is strongly also about psychic knowing and seeing, including vision(s).

Hanged Man is about intense feeling. Again, about various kinds of them. Being turned on (including sexually), or inspired, especially.
.
Hanged man means to catch on, to recognize, and even to get the point across … or get the point.
Page of Wands – The well-dressed well-spoken respectable nice young man: That’s Page of Wands. He can be the cute guy, the tennis pro. Today, the well-dressed businessman, with Three of Pentacles as business. So Page of Wands is the good guy as well as the good-looking guy. Think Prince Charming; think the tennis pro or personal trainer.

The other very common set of meanings for Page of Wands is the speak/say/tell/talk tribe. Page of Wands translates all those words, and phrases like: say so, talk about, speaker, speak up, says that, tell to, what he is/you are talking about, his remark, when you say that word, when you say that, he says something, to tell.

Page of Wands is all about identity too. The type of person. The name of something or someone. Being the one who. Being proud of who you are. Speaking your mind about how you really feel.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .
Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)
Horoscopes are group readings too.
Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)
Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.
Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.
The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

The illustration shows a crowned red-robed man with an upraised sword in the right hand and the scales of justice in the left. ‘Nuf said. Hanged Man: There’s a song ‘Hung upside down,’ that is about this card. When you realize what you have known all along, you are discombobulated, you are feeling upside down. That is what this Rider Waite Tarot card is all about: The realization that strikes you upside the head and disorients you.
Three of Pentacles: A meeting of three people. Doing business, having a meeting, a contract, a relationship. The architect in the illustration is attending the inspection of his work by the owners, prior to getting his last draw, the major profit of the construction.

Both the Knight of Swords and the Sun speak of breaking free. The Knight of Swords in this Rider Waite system means to hurry there or to hurry back or to whiz back and forth; it means a quick change of direction. The Sun is leaving home, especially a restrictive environment, and being happy. It also stands for fun and for a son or child.
To the left, the Lovers card means a connection, a bond or attachment, a love relationship or connection, including a connection to God. To the right, is him being himself, the Page of Pentacles, which means to think, to feel, to have an opinion, and so on.
Advice is to rethink your feelings of being connected, to rethink what you identify yourself with, to be aware of bonds both emotional and mental within yourself, because when you are aware of some, you might want to be free of them.

Knight of Swords: The Knight of Swords in this Rider Waite system means to hurry there or to hurry back or to whiz back and forth; it means a quick change of direction. You look at other cards to see what the change of direction is, but for sure it is quick and he is in a big hurry. The illustration shows a knight on a charger charging with sword all ready and the horse in a lather.
Page of Pentacles: Pensive fellow, clean shaven and well dressed. He is. He thinks. He feels. And the pages can represent females sometimes. This card means to think, to feel, and to be as well – which of course has no gender.
Sun: Whee! Free of that, out of there, having fun, being a kid, recklessly. The euphoria of the informed, ignorance is bliss … Take a look at the look his horsey is giving the naked baby.
