Tarot Readings: The Future of Your Love Relationship (Two of Wands and Lovers)

I am working on a plan for a love relationship.

My next love relationship is going to be a sure thing.

You two will be doing things together.

We will work it out.

Will have one lover after the other.

Your lover is going to keep trying.

You two will be making love.

..…..

Tarot Readings: Job Security (Two of Wands and Eight of Pentacles)

A connection for steady work.

Both of us are going to have jobs.

My connections will get me a job.

Your job provides your insurance.

Here’s the job you are going to love.

..…..

Tarot Readings: Working Together (Lovers and Eight of Pentacles)

Higher-ups at work have things under control.

They work as a couple in real estate.

We always have joint bank accounts.

We work together and have financial security.

Me and the bank are partners – I work for it.

In the building trade, you are in bed with the bank.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.

*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Two of Wands – Lovers – Eight of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

………………………      If Lovers is your love life, and if Eight of Pentacles is your work life, then what better than to add Two of Wands – security – to that mix. We talk about connecting with a good job, since Lovers is connecting and Eight of Pentacles is job, and we talk about a solid love relationship since Two of Wands is solid and secure as it applies to Lovers.

………………………..    Two of Wands is security, is financial security and financial institutions, and it refers to the future and means ‘for sure.’ Those are its main meanings – it has a few more. For instance, it is involved in real estate. Put it next to Eight of Pentacles, and it says ‘job security.’ Next to Lovers it is a good future together, a financial partnership, a business contact, and even being in bed with the bank.

………………………..    Lovers‘ complex illustration –- It’s very mixed – has many shades of meanings, and several categories of application. Let’s be simple and just use today’s, shall we? – because we have been very selective today. We have used only five categories. First is the ones about love relationships, then the connection one, then the ones that mean two people (both of us, you two together, couple, joint, partners, in bed with), and then insurance, higher-ups, and ‘them.’ That’s it. Two of Wands’ commercial application makes Lovers say ‘business partners. With Eight of Pentacles, you see the hands-on part in the picture of the carpenter, and the financial and business part in Two of Wands.

………………………..    Eight of Pentacles is the man with the hammer: It’s him and the wood – that’s his job. Eight of Wands covers other situations in which the same steps are done over and over as a routine. Eight of Wands is repetitive motion – such as typing, and repetitions during exercise. It means over and over, and keeping at it, and one thing at a time, etc. Eight of Pentacles is the main card for labor, work, job, employment, work site – all of that. The workingman also belongs here, along with King of Wands.

We are so simple today. What else is there in life but work and love?, so let’s keep doing both faithfully. That’s security, and that’s the plan. We work together, we make love together, and we do both with people we like and can stay with and keep doing those things with. The End.

.

Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:

.

Two of Wands……….. Two of Wands is the money man, the investor, the stock or mortgage broker, the property owner, the bank and the bankster. Notice he’s got the world in his hands there. He surveys the properties below as the man with the plan to wrest more cash from his holdings, which makes Two of Wands about income projections, plans, commercial dealing or business, the wealthy class, and simply the future.

.

Lovers…………. Lovers shows the couple, in the model of Adam and Eve. You know it’s those two because each has a tree from their old digs, the Garden of Eden. The fierce-looking angel is probably the one that kept them out when they were evicted, but in real life it passes for your guardian angel, orange hair and all. Once in a while the volcano is literal, and once in a while this card will mean noon because of the big old sun there. Lovers means anything to do with love, of course. It means anything about two people, even standing next to someone, but especially partners (love or business, as today), a couple, and ‘them,’ ‘they,’ and ‘us.’

Lovers also means higher-ups, protection, surveillance, watching out for, and even insurance because the angel is above the couple with his wings and hands outstretched in that gesture of protection.

.

Eight of Pentacles…………. Eight of Pentacles is easy. The carpenter does the same thing over and over again at his job. It’s a repetitive routine. He is working-class. He keeps at it. Each one of those meanings belongs to Eight of Pentacles, along with anything at all to do with labor, work, employment, and the actual hands-on doing of something. Words like ‘next’ and ‘again’ belong to this Rider Waite Tarot card.

King of Wands ………. . I think of Merle Haggard’s county songs re King of Wands. This is the workingman, the husband, and the edgy, angry, irritated or frustrated fellow. This is the hothead lawyer or stock broker too – he doesn’t have to be ‘the common man.’ He is hot-blooded, impulsive, uninhibited, energetic, assertive, and maybe he hollers. The ‘fiery nature’ concept we describe comes from the Middle Ages, as evidenced by the live salamander at his feet, and the salamander pattern on the drapes behind him. They thought salamanders breathed fire, don’t ask me why. His red hair is part of the fiery-nature theme, of course.

.

Two of Wands…………. The banker and real estate mogul who owns the town stands on his rooftop patio and surveys his properties below with an eye to wring yet more money out of them. Two of Wands is real estate, security, pensions, bank accounts and banking, financial topics including financial security, the future, the (good) outlook, a good prognosis (medical, especially), a solid citizen, and investing.

.

Eight of Pentacles………. Here’s the carpenter at his bench producing one item after another. This illustration suggests work, workers, labor, one thing after another, steady effort, persistence or ‘keeping at it’ or ‘keep doing,’ keeping busy, construction jobs and sites. The labor concept stretches to labor parties and labor as an expense – anywhere the word appears, such as ‘labor law’ when Justice joins it.

Tarot Readings for You for June 20, 2013 Thursday(c)

Guidance     There’s the idea, Hanged Man. There’s the plan, Two of Wands. There’s the execution (the doing of it), Eight of Pentacles. And there’s the achievement, the victory, Ace of Swords. That’s the recipe for success, neatly laid out. Thinking and action are the main ingredients for this dish.

There’s the idea, Hanged Man. There’s the plan, Two of Wands. There’s the execution (the doing of it), Eight of Pentacles. And there’s the achievement, the victory, Ace of Swords. That’s the recipe for success, neatly laid out.

Hanged Man and Two of Wands both are about foreseeing. Hanged Man is intuition, psychic insight, a vision. Two of Wands is the future itself, and is about a plan. Together, they are about seeing the future, and having a plan in mind.

Two of Wands is ‘for sure’ and security, especially financial security. Ace of Swords is victory, winning. Together, you are sure you’re going to make it, going to succeed.

Two of Wands is financial security and is a future. Eight of Pentacles is work and employment. Together, they are about a steady job and about continuing prosperity.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Hanged Man The illustration has an upside-down man with a yellow halo of ‘brain-on-fire’ awareness. This is how upside-down things are when you first see them from a non-material standpoint, how upside-down you feel at the beginning of spiritual thinking. Hanged Man is the meeting of the subconscious and conscious, so it is about awareness, intuition, feeling and sensing, brainstorming and ‘getting it.’

Two of Wands shows a rich man who ‘owns the town’ standing with the world in his hands on top of his finished flat roof and planning what he is going to do for even more profit on his real estate empire below. This illustration gives it a panorama of meanings. His overview is about planning and foreseeing, and about the future. His real estate empire is about financial success, security, profit, finance, banking, business plan.

Eight of Pentacles keeps at it, is working or is a worker, so employment subjects and efforts are featured. Repetitive actions, persistence, keeping at it. The carpenter is banging out one identical pentacle after the other. Ever heard a professional carpenter driving nails? You will never forget it, but will want to! It epitomizes consistency, persistence and steady performance.

Ace of Swords is winning, victory, achievement. It is great things, sure things, and having to do them. The picture not only shows the blade held high, but a crown on it for the achievement, and laurel leaves on the crown for victory.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

Tarot Readings for You for February 23, 2013 Saturday(c)

Guidance    Today we are talking about securing our own future by our steady efforts and foresightful planning.  It’s not just the financial future we can plan for our own benefit, but many other things, including the ability to stay ahead of the curve, to control our lives generally.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time?  Come in!  People love this place!  Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need.  ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day.  ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying.  Tarot can come up with a wide variety of sentences (sometimes even completely contradictory sentences!) in a group reading as there is no specific question being asked.  So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Want even more insight and information about a specific situation in your life? Call me, Emily, at 1-800-993-6912 and talk to me personally and have yourself a live, in detail, Tarot Reading like no other you may ever have had before. Your call will support 500 acres of wildlife in an animal sanctuary where I live and call home.

Also, don’t be shy about talking to the Community of Users in the comment section below. You’ll find this as the very last thing on this site. Trust me when I say we would *love* to hear from you!

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

We are solidly on the subject of a good solid future, and on things to do, and keep doing, regarding that.  Both Two of Wands and Three of Wands are all about the future and money – and make that a good future while you’re at it.

Two of Wands is having a plan, seeing the big picture, financial security, the future tense, the future, long term, being in control, a good outlook, banks and bankers, pensions and savings, a sure thing as in ‘will happen for sure’ and money you keep (as opposed to paying out in expenses or goods).

Three of Wands is waiting for the money to come in, income, coming in the future, will continue, continuing, waiting, being patient, a sure thing that something (good) will happen, profit, something pays off.

When you add Eight of Pentacles’  keep doing something, you have three of four members of the spread meaning a continuing process of some sort.  The fourth and remaining card (Eight of Wands) also means one after the other, a repeating pattern or process, which makes all four cards talking about ‘Keep at it,’ about sustained effort or a very consistent pattern of something.

Eight of Pentacles’ main meaning is work, job, keeping at it, steady effort, repetitive motion.  It also means a worker, someone who is employed, a working-class person (usually male), or ‘working class,’ and ‘hands-on,’ as the person who actually does whatever it is, as opposed to planning it, managing it, or paying for it.  This is a carpenter, so you can expect him to come up as a construction worker, or as construction work.

You don’t have to be psychic to say today we are talking about securing our own future by our steady efforts and foresightful planning.  It’s not just the financial future we can plan for our own benefit, but many other things, including the ability to stay ahead of the curve, to control our lives generally.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Eight of Wands     This is one of the cards that in Tarot Verbatim(TM) does not match its illustration very well.  We see one limb on top of another flying through the air.  It means communication – written, verbal, documents, whatever.  The limbs look sort of like lines on a paper, and communication kind of ‘flies through the air,’ but that’s about it as far as the correlation of illustration to meaning goes for this one.  It often means one after the other, a repeating pattern or process, a list, increasingly or accretion – hence, repetitive.

These are aptly illustrated by the banker on the ramparts of his castle looking out over his real estate empire below while he ‘holds the world in his hands.’  Real estate matters are a bailiwick of this card in Tarot Verbatim(TM), but not today.

He is making one identical object after another.

Three of Wands   This is one of the simple cards in Tarot Verbatim(TM) because the illustration is so on point for its (few) meanings. Three of Wands is waiting for the money to come in, income, coming in the future, will continue, continuing, waiting, being patient, a sure thing that something (good) will happen, profit, something pays off. The well dressed fellow eyeballs his ships coming in.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

*Without a question* in a group reading to focus the answer, the four Tarot cards can mean quite contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no,’ ‘never’ or ‘not.’ These negative modifiers can apply to any one of the other cards.
*Without a question* in a group reading, the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) are more flexible. Whenever you see a pronoun in parentheses, please *feel very free* to substitute another pronoun than the one used. I try to drop pronouns when possible, which, if you’ve noticed, can make for awkward phrasing.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In an individual situation, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Return to this site often and you can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim(TM) works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Rider Waite Tarot cards with very little effort.

Advice today tells us good times are coming and is a culmination of the days and days of wise and heavy advice to get out of this and clear out of that. The upshot is that both work and social life will suddenly take a delightful turn, worth celebrating, and you will be enjoying the good life. The first card labels this as a prediction, for sure, for your future.

=========================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. (Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Again we have four fairly unrelated Tarot citizens, and again they say pretty similar things.

This is the ‘breakthrough’ that I said must be coming with the trend of heavier messages about clearing out of the bad stuff.

Two of Wands is a secure financial future, the future tense. This is how we get all the good preductions for the future in today’s messages.

Three of Cups is getting together with likeminded people or in a team at work, and enjoying what you are doing together. It is also prosperity and happiness and celebration.

So Two of Wands and Three of Cups both refer to being well-off and prosperous.

Eight of Wands is work and the things you do regularly.

So Three of Cups and Eight of Pentacles both can refer to work.

Eight of Cups is interruption or disruption or derailment, and means a sudden shift from one thing to another. It also presages a ‘not only but also’ sentence structure at times.

So obviously work is going to be worth celebrating, and this will happen out of the blue.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Two of Wands refers to a future, a secure future, a financially secure future, and a plan or plans. Those are all of its meanings we use today. Pictured in Rider Waite Tarot is the big landowner or feudal lord overlooking his real estate holdings and making plans.

Three of Cups is a sharing of a commercial enterprise or sharing the company of likeminded comrades, happiness and joy and celebration … and prosperity of course. Pictured are three people drinking and toasting to their fine harvest at the farm. It is understood he girls will split the money equally. This card can mean girls at a place of work.

Eight of Pentacles is about work and things you do regularly, represented by the carpenter at his bench making one matching piece after the other.

Eight of Cups is a dropping of one direction which gets you into another – a shift or a turn. It is about disruption, derailment, interruption, and suggests sudden unexpected events. The idea is expressed by a pilgrim (Yeah, in red.) who is forced to make a turn because the road goes that way.

Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread

Both Ace of Swords and Two of Wands mean ‘certain’ or ‘for sure.’ Ace of Swords is about ‘absolute’ or ‘absolutely.’ Two of Wands is more ‘for sure in the future,’ or something that is a certainty, and its real focus is ‘looking forward’ and security.

Two of Wands and Eight of Pentacles link work and money or financial security, as in ‘secure job.’

Hanged Man and Two of Wands are both about foreseeing. Hanged Man is a realization or vision, and Two of Wands is about a projection or plan.

These four cards are rich in phrases. It would be fun to list them, but would go on forever. You can sense how it would be from reading the sentences.

Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards

Hanged Man, a eureka realization, is about how upside-down things are when you first see them from a non-material standpoint, how upside-down you feel at the beginning of spiritual thinking. It is about consciousness, awareness, feeling and sensing, brainstorming, ‘getting it.’ The illustration has an upside-down man with a yellow halo of ‘brain-on-fire’ awareness.

Two of Wands shows a rich man who ‘owns the town’ standing with the world in his hand on top of his finished flat roof and planning what he is going to do for even more profit on his real estate empire below. This gives it a panorama of meanings.

Two of Wands is about the future, about security, profit, and financial security. It is about a plan or planning. It is about foreseeing.

Ace of Swords is one way, no choice, must – it’s an order, a requirement, even a threat. Ach-tung. That hand has a sword and has already won the victory: See the crown atop the blade?

=========================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well …

HOW TO USE THE MATERIAL WE HAVE FOR YOU HERE. Read the sentences, and pick out the ones that seem to apply to you, to the people around you. They are a Tarot analysis of your day’s circumstances. As the day (or several days) unfolds, you may find the information is relevant. Some of this information refers to a longer time period. The question is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.” Often, your adopting the attitude you feel in the blog works for your day! Some days are ‘keep an eye open’ and some are ‘green lights.’

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean even contradictory things. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are less specific, more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. Especially when a pronoun is in parentheses, feel free to substitute.

The Advice section sums up a general meaning of all the sentences. It is the favorite of most of us.

Remember to share your experience with a comment here if you have words for it … I spend two or more hours a day writing to you, after all! Say hello back!

Two of Wands

Four of Cups, Page of Swords, Eight of Pentacles

Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread

Here are four cards that each refer to guy things. ‘Male cards.’ Yay. Tarot overall is a female chauvinist sow, so this is welcome.

Four disparate (different, and nothing in common) Tarot cards: That is what our pattern is here. The first means to refuse every offer: “No!” That is Four of Cups.

The second is that edgy paranoid fellow who is guarding some position or turf. That is the Page of Pentacles (Pray for him!).

The third is our – by now – familiar ‘worker’ card that refers to employment, job, and keeping doing. He is the Eight of Pentacles.

And the last card refers to security, pension, a play, permanence, the future, and finances. He is the Two of Wands.

Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards

Four of Cups is another ‘negating’ card: One that means no-never-not-don’t-didn’t, etc. These cards, in a spread that has no designation for the card’s function (in other words, this is not the area of the spread that has a ‘self’ card, an ‘environment’ card, etc.) and operating without a question … are pesky. Since they can attach to any of the other three, contradictions are the rule … no way around it. (I try!) Four of Cups means to refuse, to not let, no way, to not get through – that kind of thing.

The illustration is marvelously clear: A fellow has his arms crossed refusing one cup after the other each time it is offered, like a baby that won’t eat its peas. This is the key card for this spread because it is the one that negates the others’ meanings.

Page of Swords is edgy, paranoid, high-strung, on guard, touchy, anxious, flies off the handle, upset, gets on your last nerve, is in some high-stress situation, is afraid or fearful, he cops a ‘Make me’ attitude. You get the picture. It also stands for a scary situation and for someone who goes berserk, a nutcase.

Once again, Pamela Coleman Smith has done a marvelous job illustrating the meaning of this Rider Waite Tarot card. This dude is seriously on guard, his hair whipping around as his head turns every which way, his weapon brandished against … nothing. The storm clouds are on the ground, and you can see that is all that is on the ground for miles around.

Eight of Pentacles

is one of the simpler cards. You can trust it to mean: job, employment, keeping at it, any repetitive anything: motion, thought, action … especially action, because the illustration shows the carpenter making one identical gizmo after another.

Two of Wands is your pension, your future, your plan, is permanent, is secure or security … is a sure thing. Pamela Coleman Smith’s accomplishment reflects the meanings: A banker-type rich man stands on the fancy roof of his building … with the world in his hands … contemplating his profit he is going to make from the real estate below. Remind you of anyone you know?

Advice today is about “Don’t let it get to you, keep working for your future.” You could get all upset about something, for nothing. Don’t let things get on your nerves. Don’t glorify your paranoia, work for a future. Fearing for the future isn’t going to keep you going. Job security is there when you are not anxious about it. Work for your future rather than fearing for it.

TAROT ANALYSIS

Don’t be anxious about job security.

Job security is there when you are not anxious about it!

Your job is secure if you don’t fly off the handle.

He is not going to get upset every time anymore.

He keeps doing that, it gets on your last nerve, and it won’t last.

He is not going to be in that high-stress job permanently.

Don’t let it get to you; keep working for the future.

He keeps getting upset about things that are not going to be.

Refuse to listen to your paranoia: Doing what you are doing will pay off.

Not working is going to get on his nerves.

Afraid of what will happen if you don’t keep working.

He is working for a pension that he is afraid he will never get.

Fearing for the future isn’t going to keep you going.

Work for your future rathr than fearing for it.

Afraid for the future but not doing anything about it.

With this job, he has it made, nothing to be afraid of.

He is NOT going to take that guard job!

Afraid of what might happen if he is not employed.

He doesn’t have a future in this job: scary.

Don’t respect your paranoia: Work for your future.

He is not going berserk on the job!

He just isn’t going to get a job: “Make me.”

He will keep working and not cop an attitude.

He is not going to keep at it; he is high strung.

There’s no future in getting mad all the time.

Spiritual and Business Perspectives: Never mind the negative influences, your future is secure at work. She is free, she is unencumbered, she is working and financially secure. Spiritual maturity is ahead, in which trouble avoids you as you do things subconsciously. What you are doing now will make you free of interference. What you are doing now, you will be spiritually mature and invisible to bad people/spirits. You don’t know what you are working on, but you will master it and be (financially) secure. Make it your business not to know the bad stuff and you will be in good shape. Don’t know what you are doing at work but no harm will come of it. You have no connection at all to the corruption, you just work there and are secure. You are going to be paid well for work that is over your head, but you master it. You are kept in the dark at work:  Knowing nothing is a good plan. Not knowing about the crooks in the background will keep your good job going for you. When you have a spread that combines the subconscious, the Fool, with spirituality, the World card, pay attention:  This is a very rare message – especially when those two themes are also relating to work (or what you are doing) and to a solid future/financial security.  Spirituality developing at work … interesting. The World card suggests there are some bad influences that do not affect you.  The World card expresses the idea that a spiritually mature person repels bad influences, bad people and bad happenings.  The Two of Wands echoes the secure future that happens when bad stuff is repelled. Advice here is to keep doing what you are doing, that something you need not be aware of is happening and you will benefit.  Regarding your employment, advice is to relax about the part of the work you do not know, that it will come to you.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Fool: Many potential meanings to the Rider Waite Fool card.  Today we are using ‘subconscious’ which arises from its optimism ‘never mind’ meanings plus its ‘oblivious’ meanings.  We are also using the ‘don’t know’ expression.  The illustration shows a happy fella running away with little provisions for the road, with his little happy dog who seems to share his reckless disregard for being on the edge of a cliff.  Suggestion is that faith saves one from the precipice, along the lines of the ‘God protects fools and drunks.’ World: Bad influences (people and spirits) are not coming to influence you when you have ‘been there and done that’ and you ‘know all about their type.’  This knowing is wisdom or spiritual mastery.  It operates without deliberate awareness (subconsciously).  The bad stuff senses you are capable of dealing with trouble, so it … trouble … avoids you.  For example, muggers instinctually avoid a female who looks like a fight would be fun:  That just doesn’t smell right, best avoided. Two of Wands: The future, which puts the thought the surrounding cards impart into future tense, as in ‘will’ or ‘will be.’  Something is ahead, for sure.  There’s a plan.  The illustration shows a well dressed fellow alone on a rooftop looking over all the property he owns and making plans probably to use it as collateral to make even more money.  He may be the bankster eying your house. Eight of Pentacles: This is one of those cards that shows up more than the others.  Here it is what you are doing, and work.  The illustration shows a carpenter producing one after another identical item, keeping at it.  It is advice to keep doing what you are doing, often.

Rider Waite Tarot-2-26-11b

He is obsessed with all the fun he could have with a passive lady

Sun Eight of Wands, Knight of Pentacles, High Priestess

General and Business Perspectives: He contemplates all the ways she is free because of what she knows. He is aware that she is free because of all the stuff she knows. He knows one thing:  She knows all the ways to circumvent the rules. He knows the bookkeeper knows ways to get away with things. He is looking to know all the secret ways that would free him to be a reckless thug. The quiet woman told this thug over and over about being oblivious to the rules. She knows all about the reckless disregard he has for the rules in his ambition. His self interest will get him out of there fast:  She keeps that secret. He focuses on ways to evade the bookkeeper’s skills. Romance Perspectives: He just wants to have more and more fun with the ladies. His one goal is to be free of all the restrictions she imposes upon him. He is obsessed with all the fun he could have with a passive lady. With all the ways he could be free of her, she is all he thinks of. He is more and more obsessed with having a fling with this ‘other woman.’ So many women he could have flings with, and he is interested in this one. He is obsessed with all the fun this secretive woman could be having. All of this ladylike woman’s men have been fun-loving bad boys. She knows everything about being such a fun gal the guy is totally obsessed with her. She knows they are all obsessed with having flings with her. She has flings with all the tough guys. She leaves all the men who get serious about her, she is out for fun. He knows everything about women:  They’re fun. He keeps getting obsessed when he has flings with the mysterious-type girl. He is sure she knows about all his flings. We have cards that are mostly different from one another in this spread.  The only parallel ones are the ‘he knows’ of the Knight of Pentacles and the ‘she knows’ of the High Priestess.  He knows in an obsessive way, and she knows in a secretive, even spiritual, way.  The Sun, which means to be free of rules and restrictions and to have fun, as well as ‘to be reckless’ crowns the layout. High Priestess, a Tarot Card that in Rider Waite is dense with meaning, today takes a back seat to what is going on in her surrounding cards.  This card often simple means ‘she’ or ‘the lady.’  Being passive and quiet is standard, as is knowing secret(s).  Remember, she can be the bookkeeper too. Advice today from this four-card Rider Waite spread is that there is a pushy self-serving dude in the story who is reckless of the rules and/or who is obsessed with a lady or ladies.  He is the bad-boy, the ruffian or thug sometimes.  He focuses on a lady who is on to him, whether she is the bookkeeper or not.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Eight of Wands: This is another card that shows up more than other Tarot citizens, in violation of those inviolable Laws of Random Distribution.  Its meanings are general, but the ones in use here today are to make the surrounding meanings plural, the ‘all’ ones (all the ways, all the stuff, all about, everything, so many), fast, and told.  The illustration is a bit oblique, just a lot of, shall we say, arrows flying in the air looking like lines on a page.  They are connected to the meanings, but it’s a reach. Knight of Pentacles: Pigheaded ambitious pushy self- absorbed obsessive ruffian.  Him again, the bad boy.  At his best, he concentrates, is focused, as in ‘you being the only girl he is interested in.’  The illustration shows a short dark muscled cop-looking fella focusing on his interest, sitting on a horse who is drawn along the same lines as he. High Priestess: She is the lady, ladylike, the bookkeeper, the passive lady, ‘she,’ the other woman, the secretive woman, the woman who knows, the mysterious type.  The illustration shows a seated woman with a calm demeanor who has a book in her lap, occult trappings all around her. Sun: Here’s the reckless funlovin’ boy, the playboy out to have his fun, the guy who eludes the rules recklessly.  The illustration shows a young boy who snuck outta the house to ride a frisky horse bareback whilst carrying a big banner in his left hand.  Whee! – but that horse is about to give him a comeuppance, isn’t he or she?
