Guidance

Some people gravitate to dealing with people, some to working with things, and some to the world of ideas. Some people naturally take the initiative (Those usually are the people-persons.) and some people wait for other people to come to them, and they respond. We have stories today about an outgoing man, and a woman who is a minds-my-own-business type, and what they do.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) our subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Synopsis

Sometimes one person has a capital idea but isn’t set (for a myriad of reasons and causes) to be the one to act on that capital notion. In our story today, she is hands off, and one man takes action while another helps him. For the great idea to be executed and completed, all three of these people’s contributions are necessary. I wonder how many things don’t get done for the lack of one leg of this three-legged stool.

Magician

Magician is action and is male: “Man who does” is a good slogan to remember Magician’s meanings. Yes, he means some other things, like volunteer, start or begin, and various forms of ‘act’ and ‘action,’ but ‘male’ and ‘does’ and ‘make’ are Magician’s signature. He takes the initiative, to

Magician is so much about action that in real Tarot life this card will just disappear into another card’s verb. Like today I rewrote a sentence that said ‘he brings’ and the action resided right there. I added that he volunteered to bring, but that – in real rubber-meets-the-road Tarot practice – was not necessary.

Today, Magician takes the initiative, and Knight of Cups introduces himself as the outgoing personality that he is. In that groove, both Magician and Knight of Cups mean the same thing. Keep an eye out for this in your Tarot readings because when you ask about something, you call up these similar cards.

Knight of Cups

Knight of Cups

Affable. That’s a one-word description of Knight of Cups people. Knight of Cups is the male equivalent of Queen of Cups, or some Queen of Cups people.

Knight of Cups is the social man, the personable fellow, the guy we all remember and like, the natural born salesman, and the natural born second-in-command or vice president. They appear to be simple good natured people, these two, but some of them are ambitious and crafty. A man can get ahead as the Number Two who does Number One’s detail work or paper work … because these herd bulls are not always real literate, you know?

And Number Twos get paid a lot and are not taking the flak of a Number One unless they slip up and get in the way. But enough of that.

Knight of Cups is a lover (not a fighter). Knight of Cups puts his hand out first. Knight of Cups takes the romantic initiative. He is the friend who helps. He is the charming fellow you bought that lemon from.

Knight of Cups is associated with asking, offering, accepting, suggesting, giving, getting along, agreeing and getting others to agree. Knight of Cups spins a circle of friends like spiders spin webs. Networking comes so natural you don’t think of it as that when a Knight of Cups person does it.

Nine of Pentacles

They say opposites attract, and it’s true often. Nine of Pentacles does not act, does not take initiative, isn’t friendly. She is the antithesis of her Tarot mates here – is that different from them, opposite. She owns the place (business or home or both, as in a farm or ranch), and/or she is the expert, the consultant, the skilled-with-knowledge kind of individual we seek out when we find ourselves in need of, say, an architect or orthodontist or whatever specialty it is today.

People who are in a skill niche tend to wait for others to come into their network (or net?). They tend to be content or even complacent because they are the only watering hole for miles around and people get thirsty.

Some women are so wise they wait for a man to be strongly attracted to them before they give the nod to romance. They know that there’s a Someone for every Somebody, so their mate will appear while they mind their own business and stick close to home.

A naturally impersonal or detached person who stays single is putting out these pheromones that Mother Nature must honor. Nine of Pentacles stands her ground.

Now Without The Pictures

Magician and Knight of Cups both take initiative, make the first move, start something up. Knight of Cups is as outgoing as Nine of Pentacles is not: Nine of Pentacles can be downright reclusive. We obviously have storylines here.

Magician has the tools of his trade on a table. He is pictured with right hand raising the magic wand skyward, left hand extended groundward. This depicts the idea of moving some desired event from potentiality (the sky) to happening on the physical plane (the ground). The tools of his trade are the suits of the Tarot deck.

Knight of Cups also extends his arm. His tool is the cup of friendship, suggestion, and offer, often an offer to help. He is social – the friend, the lover, the buddy, the helper. The pastel shades and the curved lines suggest mellowness, as they do in Six of Cups.

Nine of Pentacles on the other hand stands by her bird, with a snail at her feet indicating the leisure she is enjoying dressed in a robe a midday in her vineyard. People come to her; she does not go to people. Nine of Pentacles has ability or skill that brings others to her.

So we have the doer, in Magician; we have the helper, in Knight of Cups; we have the executive, in Nine of Pentacles. Each doing what he or she is suited by nature to do; and whatever it is … is getting done in our story. You could say our point is that there’s a place for everybody in the art of getting things done … and am I in the right one?
