GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Chariot

Chariot

Applying the different meanings of Chariot is much easier if you know what this illustration is all about. Charioteers were the tanks of olden wartime. Charioteers were the strategists of war. Winning largely depended on what they did and how successful they were, so Mr. Chariot is a leader, is someone who gets the job done no matter what, has nerves of steel and lots of willpower, is a strategist, is successful. Is a hero sometimes too.

Chariot is a very esoteric (magic and spiritual) Tarot card in Rider Waite. Note his vehicle is pulled not by horses but by sphinxes, magic creatures who do as they please, are powerful, and go only in one direction, a turn either to right or left. That is why you see reversed colors on them. So our hero hitches them so they get in one another’s way, and controls them not with reins but with magic wands.

Chariot represents a manager, a capable manager, and a hands-on manager – in the field, not behind a desk. You are Chariot when you take charge, wade in, and get it done no matter who’s in the way, no matter what.

Nine of Cups

Nine of Cups

Here comes Nine of Cups. In every deck worth its salt, Nine of Cups is ‘wish is granted!’ Yay Nine of Cups! Some people wear a necklace with him on it. He drank it all; he ate the whole thing. He feels as good all over as Star does. Nine of Cups is what you want the most. And it is contentment, feeling good about the things you have: gratitude. Satisfaction is a big word with Nine of Cups.

Put, say, Ten of Wands, with Nine of Cups and you have excess or even ‘wants too much (greed).’ Not today though. Today Nine of Cups is grateful, wants to please, dream comes true, benefit … words like that.

Wheel of Fortune

Wheel of Fortune

Nine times out of ten, Wheel of Fortune means something wonderful happening, a miracle even. It can be about making something happen too, especially if Mr. Makes-It-Happen Chariot comes alongside.

Wheel of Fortune is chance or ‘a chance,’ opportunity, luck, coincidence, destiny, winning, happening, the best, optimum, wonderful, ‘pays off,’ miracle, the dream-come-true. The illustration shows that nonphysical entities – good ones and bad ones – affect what happens in the physical realm through coincidence.

It helps to know that the letters in the rim of the wheel spell out ‘Jehovah’ or ‘Yahweh’ (written in the original Hebrew) and either TARO for Tarot or ROTA which means wheel (‘rotate’) and ‘wheel of fortune,’ which is associated with several interesting religious myths (one about Apollo) having to do with the border of the flat earth being a perilous place. The two towers in Moon are part of that myth. (They are bad-guy towers).

Keep in mind that when Wheel of Fortune is talking about the reward or profit that someone like Chariot produces, it is no longer about coincidence and random events. That’s a paycheck. The random application would be a stroke of luck on the way to earning the reward.

Now Without The Pictures

Whenever you see Nine of Cups and Chariot, you’re in luck. No single other card can spoil their dream. Nine of Cups is getting exactly what you want, and gratitude; and Wheel of Fortune is something wonderful happens. Wheel of Fortune is also a chance or opportunity, and Nine of Cups is also gratitude and being happy with what you have, ‘enough.’

And who do we have joining these two beauties? – well, here’s Chariot. He is success, ambition, achievement, strategy, the leader, the masterful man.

Not much can go wrong today. Chariot says you can handle whatever may arise, and the other two cards promise delivery of the best that can be.

Chariot and Wheel of Fortune make it happen, and happen for the best. It is putting your mind to it (willpower, choice, decision, ambition) and using every coincidence to your advantage, to your favor, whether it’s in your favor or not. You could say Chariot and Wheel of Fortune is Destiny honoring your choice. You could say Chariot and Wheel of Fortune is determination and ambition rewarded. Chariot is being the born leader, the person whose fate is to accomplish something. Wheel of Fortune is that fate.

Chariot and Nine of Cups say ‘I do it my way’ or ‘I did it my way.’ They also say ‘He aims to please.’

Chariot

Chariot

Charioteers were the backbone of military success for a few hundred years. Think independently operated tanks in warfare. Here are some of Chariot’s meanings: The leader, the man in charge. Success and successful. Strategy and willpower. Will or intention, ambition or ambitious. The responsible person, the person who is responsible for the success of something. The driven or Type A man or person. Choice or choosing to. The manager or supervisor. A vehicle, the driver, to drive a vehicle.

Illustration here is subtle: His vehicle is hitched to two sphinxes, each of which will go only in one direction, so he hitches them so that their chosen direction opposes the other’s so they end up moving the vehicle forward. He is using his wand instead of reins to control the steeds. All very symbolic. Idea being expressed here is: Force of will is what gets you where you aim to go.

Today, Chariot emphases that he decides, he achieves, is a hard-driving man, getting ahead, aims to, a car, making it happen, the man who has it made or the successful man, the manager or managing, the ambition or strategy, ‘the masterful man, being in charge, the Type A fellow, and the strategy.

Nine of Cups

Nine of Cups

Think Thanksgiving – a day of gorging oneself in the name of gratitude – when you see Nine of Cups, and you have a bead on most of its meanings. Satisfied. Enough. Having it all. Getting what you want. Getting, or having, the life you want. Enjoying. The dream come true. Enjoyment. What you want most. Enough … or enough to …. Being happy or pleased. Pleasing, and wanting to please.

Nine of Pentacles

Nine of Pentacles

Nine of Pentacles has it made. She is independent, she does as she chooses and needs nobody. She has her own comfortable niche, and she is successful in it. This could be a niche is business or in personal life. For all we know, she could be contend living on welfare right now! Nine of Pentacles owns and manages something, and may even be an heiress. She may stay at home to herself, a loner, and have enough money to run the place. Here she is in what looks like a bathrobe with her falcon on her arm in her vineyard.

She is doing so well without a man, Nine of Pentacles often says. This is the woman who is successful, is independent, and/or has achieved something on her own. This is also the discriminating dame who is self sufficient, minds her own business, is the manager, is perfectly capable. She may have a home-based business and have enough money to be very private, be her own person.

Nine of Pentacles is when you enjoy being by yourself, and when you hold out for the life you really want.

.

Chariot – Chariot is modeled mainly after two things. One is the charioteers in ancient warfare, who were the strategists of battles, often deciding which side won. Lots of good stories to be found in those sagas. The other is master magicians who control bad spirits successfully. So Chariot tends to kick butt, to be the one who decides and directs activity (‘field manager,’ I call it, but ‘supervisor’ often appears). An outgrowth of the charioteer meaning is that Chariot is a vehicle and can appear as any sort of craft, including boats, airplanes, and an occasional bicycle or whatever.

.

As I said, the other is the master magician. You see this in the illustration too, but you have to look a little. First, his vehicle isn’t pulled by horses but by a pair of sphinxes. Now, sphinxes are evil malicious creatures, each of which will move only in one direction, a turn, so Mr. Chariot hitches them so that their chosen direction opposes the other’s so they end up moving the vehicle forward by bumping into one another. Mr. Chariot is a master strategist. This card especially represents using factors that are against success for success (like those sphinxes). Chariot is using his wand instead of reins to control the steeds. The symbols on this card are esoteric in nature.

.

Chariot is the strong leader of course, the successful man. You find these words for this Tarot card: ambition, aim, success, achievement, get ahead, leader, challenge, driven, master, overcome, Type A man. Another Chariot word we tend to overlook is ‘discipline.’

.

The word ‘responsible’ in all its forms, especially ‘responsibility’ meaning duty, belongs to Mr. Chariot.Take charge’ is another phrase for that.

.

Then, Chariot is about skill level. He is often a veteran of his job, whatever it is. Getting the job done … under budget and in less time … no matter what the obstacle. Mr. Chariot eats consequences for breakfast. Here are some of his can-do words from today’s post: He did it; I am capable of; I do something I am good at; having the skill; you do something; you deliver; your skill level.

Nine of Cups – You remember him. He wants. He gets. He has enough. He has too much. He is greedy. The whole spectrum of getting what you want. So – shorthand – everyone calls him Your Wish is Granted.

.

Here are some of his habitual words about all that. Most of the time, he says words and phrases about ‘want.’ Second-most, he brings forms of ‘get’ and words that mean the same thing – famously, ‘I got mine.’

.

He means satisfaction and satisfy and safunsified. He means enough – and you kinda have to remember that one. He means odd phrases like ‘a lot more’ and ‘pays off big’ and ‘your dream’ as in your dream car, dream house, dream job – with the appropriate other card.

.

Some odd words will pop up for him. Today it’s ‘fulfills’ and ‘affording.’

.

And lastly, Nine of Cups is being glad, being happy, and is what you (or whoever) enjoys. Sometimes in legal inquiries, he even appears for the famous civil law phrase ‘enjoyment of life.’

Six of Pentacles – Several Tarot cards that show an exchange mean both to give and to receive. This is one of them. You are used to the exchange being a fair one, as in Three of Pentacles, and yes, Six of Pentacles also partakes of that – influenced by the scales of justice there. Six of Pentacles frequently appears for paying or getting paid, for the paycheck and the price, for making payments, as well as for paying attention. It can say ‘making money’ and ‘salary’ too of course.

.

Nine of Cups today pulls Six of Pentacles meanings toward the ‘getting’ aspect, as in getting paid, getting attention, reward, and even getting your price.

.

Six of Pentacles is also dispensing medicines (the coins resemble pills, so handing out pills – that’s where that comes from). Six of Pentacles means to receive or give attention, which blends in with the dispensing those pills to further mean medical treatment. (Yes, sometimes the meanings morph into something not-very-similar this way in Tarot. You will catch it in action in your Tarot work if you do enough Tarot.)

.

Six of Pentacles also may translate ‘deserve.’ That’s where fairness and receiving benefit meet, of course. ‘Deserve’ is all about fairness.

Ace of Swords To win a fight or competition, to be the winner. Use of force, victory, ruling or being number one: These you see at a glance in this drawing of a double-edged sword held up and crowned, with laurel leaves on the crown.

.

The ‘being number one’ includes words and phrases like: most of all, the main thing, big, the most, total, being the one, the one thing.

.

Ace of Swords implies there’s only one way fairly often, with words and phrases like: must, got to, have to, no matter what, makes. It means ‘for sure,’ and it means ‘do it the hard way. It also means challenge, threat, adversity, and overcome.

Nine of Cups This illustration shows the kind of satisfaction you feel when you have had a good meal, and the chubby fellow also suggests prosperity and ‘having it all.’ Nine of Cups is called ‘your wish is granted.’ More than any other word or phrase, Nine of Cups translates ‘want.’

.

Your wish is granted brings us: your dream come true, things go your way, makes me feel so good, what makes him happiest, happy, glad, grateful, enjoy, to please and to be pleased. It can even translate ‘mine,’ as in ‘I’ve got mine.’

.

Nine of Cups means both greed (excess) and enough.

Chariot Think of Chariot as the field manager. This spread doesn’t feature Chariot’s using the adverse factors to further his aims, but you can find that by typing ‘Chariot Tarot Verbatim’ into your Google, which will bring you the archives regarding this Tarot card.

.

Today, Chariot makes these words and phrases predominantly: be a leader, master this, success, take command, the responsibility, my achievement, responsibility, accomplishment, overcome. He also means ambition and ‘aim to.’

.

Chariot also appears – as he always does – as deciding and handling a situation, and as that kind of skill. Chariot tends to be a veteran at his job.

(Ace of Swords, as you know, can mean the extreme of anything, usually by saying ‘the most.’ When Ace of Swords appears with a card that already means ‘the most’ in some way, then Ace of Swords may or may not just disappear into the overall meaning soup of that sentence. For example, Nine of Cups can be ‘the happiest’ or ‘totally satisfied.’ Ace of Swords means ‘totally’ and means ‘the most,’ too. You won’t always find another meaning that Ace of Swords makes in that sentence – it may become invisible that way.)

.Sometimes you want it so bad you do what you have to, to get it. Other times a driving ambition to be the best, or to be the most skilled, pays off handsomely incidentally as a lovely byproduct of your drive to excel. He is physically injured by a vehicle and gets money for it.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Nine of Cups
Chariot, Three of Swords, Page of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Chariot and Page of Wands and Nine of Cups are about success. That’s Chariot’s main meaning – getting that mission accomplished. Page of Wands is the good looking well dressed fellow with great prospects. Nine of Cups has everything he or she wants. Chariot and Page of Wands are both solid people who are respectable and successful.

Three of Swords is a spoiler (Imagine that.) here. It means to separate yourself from someone or something, dissociate, divorce, reject. It means adversity and hostility and to be against something or someone – even to hate.

.

Chariot has arrived, has a skill and is expert at using it for a purpose, so he is ‘going places.’ Chariot is a strategist who does what it takes to arrive at the place he wants to be. You can see how he is going to drive those steeds with nothing but his wand there. We know people like this, don’t we? Let’s be friends with them.

Three of Swords is when everything is going against, is the time of quarreling and separation, is adversity and hostility, is being in the wrong company, the wrong setting for you. The illustration is forthright: Gray clouds and rain storm behind a heart pierced with the three swords. Been there too, haven’t you?

Page of Wands
is the fellow with, as my daddy used to say, the clean nose. He is the ‘fair haired boy’ cliche. He is the well-dressed well-spoken fellow who plays tennis. He talks you into things. His daddy is successful, don’t you think?

Nine of Cups is having it all. Every time I see the illustration on it – of the pudgy fellow with the besotted look and the ten cups on the mantle – I think of the saying “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” It can simply mean to what, or what someone wants. It can also be about excess.

Advice is about the roles that both adversity and breaking off with people we are associated with play in our getting ahead and looking acceptable to other people, looking respectable. To please the people who are disposed to disagree with us, we should have ‘the look,’ the flawless look that indicates everybody else agrees with us. Advice also covers the fact that the look isn’t always enough for the long haul … that sometimes we dissociate ourselves from the successful, respectable handsome man.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days if there is one.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

These are pretty much independent Tarot citizens with no theme … but Chariot and Page of Wands are both solid people who are respectable and successful.

Chariot is a success and Nine of Cups has what it wants and Page of Wands has the look. They play well together.

Three of Swords stands in the corner, as well it might, since it means to dissociate, to divorce, adversity, hostility, separation and so on. What is a bad looking guy like this doing here?

Playboy’s car gets him all the girls he wants.

Geez.  Are you guys at it again?  LOOK at this spread!  In the middle are two ‘party’ cards, a male card and a female card.  The Sun is a brat/playboy having fun, and it also means unleashed and uninhibited.  The Three of Cups in Rider Waite is sharing life and good times, wealthy women or debutantes, party girls, girls celebrating a joint venture, the sharing of profits.  To the left of these two is the ambitious successful dude in his car, the Chariot.  To the right is rich living, having all you could want, profit, money, excess.  Oh, this isn’t hard to figure out, is it?

Advice is to enjoy your success, to share your success and celebrate yourself and your achievements with your friends.  We are more wealthy and more successful than we think we are sometimes.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Chariot: The ambitious successful dude in his car.  He has achieved.  He is in control.  He decides.  He is in the driver’s seat.  The illustration shows a successful skilled driver of a chariot whose two steeds head in opposite directions, and he gets them to go ahead for him.

Sun: The Sun is a brat/playboy having fun, and it also means unleashed, impulsive, and uninhibited.  He is reckless.  Having fun extends to being on vacation.  Illustration shows a young boy who sneaked out of the house to play on a wicked pony bareback.  The pony has a look in his eye.  That pony is related to the one on the Six of Wands.

Three of Cups: The Three of Cups in Rider Waite is sharing life and good times, wealthy women or debutantes, party girls, girls celebrating a joint venture, the sharing of profits.  Illustration shows girls toasting their profit standing on the harvest field.

Nine of Cups: Here’s that rich guy, rich life, the excess of wealth.  He done et tha whole thing.  Illustration shows a fat fella with a big grin and nine cups he has emptied behind him … and that isn’t V8 he has been drinking, either.

He is very cognizant of his own power but he feels unsure of himself around The Goddess

Seven of Pentacles
Emperor, Hanged Man, Empress

Does he really feel he is an important enough man that the Babe is his counterpart?
People wonder when they realize this couple is the ruling class/elite.
He is very cognizant of his own power but he feels unsure of himself around The Goddess.
She is not so sure she is his counterpart when she realizes how powerful he is.
Did (I) recognize the leader and his wife?  Was that they?

He realizes she has money and connections to powerful men and wonders about that.
He wonders how important he could be with her as his woman and feels inspired.
He sees her as a glamorous socialite and wonders who her father is.
She is so intensely sexy, he wonders whether he is too old for her.
He wonders how easy the good looking woman is when he recognizes her old man.

You know old men who are political masters have good looking women, but you still wonder.
What if the pretty lady’s father recognizes you?
Wonders what the federal government knows about her wealth.

We have a counterpart couple, the Emperor and the Empress, who would be a ruling class or elite pair.  She is the sexy babe, the debutante, the rich lady and he is the leader of the clan, the federal government, the important man, etc.  In between them, an the card above them, we have realizing, The Hanged Man, and wondering, the Seven of Pentacles.

Advice?  Hmmm.  I would say be aware of status as a factor of the people around you.  Powerful people and beautiful people:  be curious about them.

Meanings and Illustrations:

Emperor: This is the president, the community muckety-muck, the man who owns the company, even the federal government, or a wealthy man with high status, the captain of industry type.  Hello, Mr. Trump.

Hanged Man: To recognize, to realize, to know.  Illustration shows the eureka experience:  The upside-down-ness you feel when, duh, a truth strikes you.  An upside-down man with a bright light around his head that indicates, of course, a bright idea.

Empress: This is the rich lady, the Babe, the easy woman as well as the ideal woman.  Here she is with her counterpart as the wife of the VIP.  As such, she is a debutante here.  Of course, the old man could be her father as well.  She is pictured with the fine cushions, the crown, the shield with the female symbol on it, the blonde hair … She is Barbie crossed with the Queen of England.

Seven of Pentacles: He wonders, he ponders.  Duh.  Illustration shows a fellow contemplating his cucumber vines wondering whether he has both genders of the plant so that it will produce fruit for him.  No way to tell at that moment.Learn Tarot
