Guidance |
It’s all about belonging and not belonging today. Some people are content to be in a family, or other social group, that they are putting up with. Some people have a strong feeling of being one of the crowd they are in, and they are happy. Some people know that they are not one of the crowd, and tribe members know this too. Of course, some of us have no peers and don’t care.
Could This Be You?
Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Hanged Man
Mental life, mental activity, including connecting to the muse or the mental plane – inspired thought, intuition, hunches, deja vus, epiphany and enlightenment, eurekas, ‘getting it,’ gut feelings, instinct, ‘click,’ bright ideas, premonitions, inklings, brainstorms, what the little birdie told you, and what dawned on you: Hanged Man is all of these. It comes up for the idea and for the realization of it.
Hanged Man is the subconscious. (So is Fool.) Hanged Man is psychism and all otherworldly knowledge. The illustration hearkens back to several myths in which someone attaches himself to a tree, usually for three days, and sacrifices a body part for ‘wisdom,’ by which is meant supernatural awareness and ability. Odin puts his eye out in his story. (Today, we use Tarot.)
In real-life Tarot practice, Hanged Man is a member of the think/know/understand/get it theme. He translates ‘realize’ most frequently, often simply ‘see’ and sometimes ‘sense.’ Hanged Man represents strong feeling, intense feeling, turned on, an urge (instinct), perspective. Hanged Man is also being psychic.
Four of Swords
Overnighting in the church to meditate upon his life purpose as a knight, and get his vision approved by the bishop: That is the illustration you see here. It’s not getting done in Four of Swords – in all kinds of ways, from ‘time out’ to being in a coma, to simply not caring or being indifferent or lazy. Not participating is a common translate for Four of Swords. Lying dormant, staying, and waiting belong to Four of Swords too.
Four of Swords ends up being a negator to a nearby card by virtue of this ‘not doing’ or ‘nothing happening’ meaning: It says that card’s action isn’t being done, or is suspended.
Ten of Cups
Ten of Cups is everybody, today. All those well-adjusted people, the kin, people you know. And it’s being happy. We have mass consciousness because of Hanged Man’s presence, and we have a family reunion. We don’t get into its marriage and community meanings. You can think of Ten of Cups as the ‘Happily ever after’ card because it depicts the idyllic life, what we used to call ‘the American dream.’
