Guidance

This is about succeeding when things are a mess, when you have been taken by surprise, when you take initiative in an out-of-control situation and, by golly, it turns out well.   It is about doing it yourself in a hurry whilst unprepared and there’s no instruction book.   Which is what life is.   We tend not to think of success as what we are currently doing on the fly; we tend to think of success as something we plan, and as a goal.   Well, this says, it’s a process and you’re in it right now while you’re not lookin’.   So give yourself credit for those unplanned achievements: Make the lists now.

Could This Be You?

Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.

Amazing how it is perfect done so fast.

Doing all of the parts myself, doing them right, and commuting too.

They pay him to travel all over the place to do what he does so well.

He is well paid because he can do so many things so fast.

Amazing that he does it in his exacting way and ships it so quickly.

What you do succeeds right off the bat: We are in shock.

He makes a perfect race, one chance in a million.

He is doing what is right for himself, sloppily and in a hurry.

There’s a bonus for the man who will drive through the storm.

Perfectly executed trip through a blizzard.

All the ways of doing it are right, so hurry up.

Randomly and in a blind rush, I scored.

How the heck did I win when I did it on the fly?

He puts the pieces together instantly and gets the whole picture.

Out of many, only one is right, so we act fast.

He does everything right quickly.

When you get past the confusing part, you do it perfectly all by yourself.

He did it! Shock and awe! He went out and got me a RING!

He gets moving and procures the money ‘out of thin air.’

Action, in the heat of confusion, gets us on course.

Fast action to perfect what is a mess.

You pursue them all to end up with the best one, so I do that.

I am getting myself out of the chaos and onto the right track.

Doing everything perfectly takes energy.

Act fast, anything you do is right!

In a hurry to get all these unrelated things done and done right.

He took out after owning all those things, and he got them too.

Ace of Pentacles

Ace of Pentacles

Here’s this hand with the big prize in it suspended over what is obviously ‘the right path’ which has white lilies in front and a trellis of roses for victory at its end. Meanings are obvious, don’t you think? Success. It is also right, correct, the right way or right road, the right path (or path you are on). It’s money, a prize, a bonus, the reward, and possessing, having it in hand. It also can mean ‘Yes.’

Knight of Wands

Here he is, looking a little scared I think, rushing on a rearing (also nervous) horse. He has his club in his hand, and his clothes are whipped by wind. Knight of Wands is fast, speed, getting ahead, making progress, getting away, getting out of town … and energetically.

Magician

Magician

Here he is, arm raised with the magic wand that makes things happen (or not happen), the tools of his trade on the table before him. The symbol of continuing action is over his head; it is a math symbol. Magician is doing it, pulling it off, creating. Magician is male energy, the male principle – and hence, a man or male. It means any form of the verb ‘do,’ so it means action and therefore is not limited to male doings. So it means ‘I’ as well, and ‘myself’ and ‘do it yourself’ or ‘do it myself.’

Seven of Cups

Seven of Cups

Seven of Cups  depicts Pandora’s Box or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. A black-robed person is taken aback upon being presented with a motley cloud of mysterious forces. When you know that, you know the meanings are: various unrelated objects or subjects, confusion, miasma and chaos. It is also shock and awe, amazement, being presented with any number of things at once … or in this case (with these particular cards) doing all sorts of things at once. It is also going out of control or losing control of circumstances.

Now Without The Pictures

Ace of Pentacles is success. It is also right, correct, the right way or right road, the right path (or path you are on). It is money, a prize, a bonus, the reward, and possessing, having it in hand.

Magician  is doing it, pulling it off, creating. Magician is male energy, the male principle – and hence, a man or male. It means any form of the verb ‘do,’ so it means action and therefore is not limited to male doings. It means ‘I’ as well, and ‘myself’ and ‘do it yourself’ or ;do it myself.’ It also is any form of the verb ‘make,’ and words like ‘procure’ or ‘bring about.’ You see that as you read the sentences.

The other two cards are what creates all the ‘stories’ here. Knight of Wands is fast, speed, getting ahead, making progress, getting away, getting out of town … and energetically.  Seven of Cups is ‘any old how’ – various unrelated objects or subjects, confusion, miasma and chaos. It is also shock and awe, amazement, being presented with any number of things at once … or in this case (with these particular cards) doing all sorts of things at once. It is also going out of control or losing control of circumstances.

Guidance    When things go kaflooey, you are likely either the person who gets called about it, or you go to someone, yourself, about it. Sometimes a person cannot handle the miasma and just has a meltdown. Of course, there are the persons who create the miasma … often our lovers. It’s nice when you get to be the guy who does something about what hits the fan. Most of us have been on all the sides of this situation.

Tarot Readings: Out of Control, Lose Control, Confusion (Seven of Wands + Seven of Cups)

Acting in concert, we resist the unraveling of the situation.

We stand up and take joint action as our life goes sideways.

We’ve got to do something – anything – to defend this crumbling ground here.

Your partner’s being out of control gets in the way of you getting this done.

Made contact with the other side and am fighting imaginary assailants.

I’m fighting brain-fog here: I need protection from what I did.

This pushy guy creates chaos for whoever he is in contact with.

He forces himself on every friend you’ve got.

Your friend thinks you are crazy, the way he pushes you around.I get in touch with you when I’m up to my butt in alligators.

All these confusing things are getting the best of me: I am contacting you.

I get in touch with you when I’m up to my butt in alligators.

All these confusing things are getting the best of me: I am contacting you.

Panic as everything breaks down at once and I am the one to call.

Overwhelmed by the mess my buddy made for us.

When I am battling ‘losing it,’ I get in touch with (him).

He starts his rant as soon as he connects.

He gets in our faces one-on-one, his aggression is out of control.

.

Tarot Readings: Love, Lover, Love Life, Crazy Love (Lovers)

He refuses to believe he is in love, so, to him, what he is doing is inexplicable.

I’m doing everything I can possibly do to keep myself from making contact.

He is overwhelmed when his lovemaking gets out of his control.

Trying desperately to straighten things out after this guy connected with me.

The more he loves you the more he makes a mess of things.

The love magic is out of control, trying so hard to resist.

My partner defends himself from a senseless attack.

I am mounting a defense against my confusing love life.

OMG, he is actually initiating a love relationship instead of defending himself against one.

Just when my life is going kerflooey, and I have my hands full, the guy loves me

Lover’s fight gets out of control: He started it.

He and his lover have a fight that is out of bounds.

Whoa! He goes overboard when he loves someone.

Things have fallen apart between him and his lover, and he is battling it any way he can.

My loved one breaks into the place and damages it.

Pushed to the breaking point by Lover’s deeds.

He does anything for someone he loves – moves mountains.

Falls to pieces when lover confronts him.

He confronts lover, and (she) falls apart.

When Lover does that, (I) spazz out and have a fit or a meltdown.

With you, he mouths off, he sounds off, he is out of control.

He goes stark raving nuts when he sees them together.

Loverboy is a disruptive influence.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

You know when you see two shiftless people together that ‘nothing good can come of this.’ Well Seven of Wands and Seven of Cups are like that. You look at the other two cards: One is a positive connection in Lovers (a couple, buddies, connection to God, etc.) and the other is taking action or doing something. At least there’s that.

Okay. Seven of Wands is the guy fending off neighbors who want him off his land, want what is his for themselves. He is defending against them. But the action can also be that of a mouthy pushy person who ‘wants the car keys and ain’t about to fill your tank.’

Seven of Cups is things in disarray. The illustration is about the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story, or Pandora’s Box. Things are out of control, in pieces, you’ve ‘lost it,’ are having a meltdown, having a fit. Shattered, broken dreams or whatever. It’s most pleasant meaning is ‘lots of unsorted things.’

Magician together with Lovers is ‘make love,’ and ‘he connects or contacts.’

We are still doing stories. Until further notice methinks. This miasma perfectly reflects my doing this blog on a mentally ill laptop with no mouse. Oh yeah!

.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Magician – Being the one who does something about it: That is what Magician is doing today. He is always doing something. And he is always a ‘he.’ Magician is ‘the male principle,’ the active principle, in occult concept. Conjugate the verbs ‘do’ and ‘make,’ and you have most of his meanings. ‘Active’ is one of his meanings too of course.

Seven of Wands – Onslaught. It’s coming at you, in your face. Could be the teenybopper wanting the car keys, a bill collector, a ranting disgruntled somebody. Could be someone wanting to take over your life or what is yours. It could be you mad as hell and won’t take it anymore.

Seven of Cups – Well, it hits the fan in the illustration. The evil spirits escape from the box or from the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and wreak havoc. Meltdown, shock, out of control, break into pieces, debris and storm. Insane, berserk, confused, brain-fog, brain scrambled ….

Lovers is another one of those Middle Ages cards designed to keep the Catholic Church from burning Tarot card users at the stake. You have the guardian angle, arms akimbo, over Adam and Eve with their respective trees … and a volcano behind and in between them. So disparate meanings like ‘the person next to you’ (buddy, loved one, partner, etc.); protection; contact, connection; being in touch with God or God in touch with you.

.

.

Did you come here just for your predictions? If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ’all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures. This is the meaning of each separate card. This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

Rider-Waite tarot reading

He pulls off a totally amazing miracle

Wheel of Fortune
Seven of Cups, Ten of Wands, Magician

A chance to take on doing all those different things at once.
He is making a wonderful thing happen under very difficult, chaotic conditions.
A huge mess that he got himself into is happening.
He is doing something about an overwhelming out-of-control event.
To make the best thing happen any way you can under the most difficult circumstances.
Too many things, all kinds of things to do when this happens.
There’s a lot of confusion about what happens to him.
He did that when he was very confused, and this happened.
Gambling, one chance in a million that you eventually do what hits the jackpot.
All sorts of opportunities if you act on them long term.
It takes a long time and many different ways of doing it, but you win big.
To do (or to have done) all these things is miraculous.
Difficult to do all these things at once so that the best happens.
The odds are extremely long – one chance in a million – of actually doing what you are doing.
Things are so messed up for so long, and he pulls off a miracle.

Two cards here refer to gambling when taken together: The Seven of Cups and the Wheel of Fortune. Sooo … we’re still in lottery country. Now, I am not a gambler, so this isn’t my theme a’tall. Plus, we have the Magician, which is a man pulling it off, making it happen – or the act of pulling it off and making it happen.

Illustrations and Meanings:

Seven of Cups: The sorcerer’s apprentice and/or Pandora’s box stories are reflected in this card. The idea of things being out of control, mixed up, chaotic, confusing, bizarre and shocking. The phrases we pick up in today’s message from this Rider Waite Tarot card are:

All those different things at once; chaotic conditions; a mess; out of control event; any way you can; all kinds of things; confusion; confused; one chance in a million; all sorts of; many different ways; all these things; all these things; one chance in a million; messed up.

Ten of Wands: Fairly simple card: He is overloaded. Too much, too much all at once. Difficult, slow going … but going.Today’s phrases for this one are:

Take on all those things at once; very difficult conditions; A huge; overwhelming; under the most difficult circumstances; Too many; A lot of; very; eventually; long term; long time; all these things; difficult, all these things at once; extremely; so long.

Magician: Well this card conjugates the verb ‘to do,’ And means any ‘male’ term. To do, did, done, doing, doing it himself, to pull it off, to perform an act. Action. To bring about. Illustration shows a man with his hand raised up make something happen … so this card in this spread also echos the ‘happen’ of the Wheel of Fortune.  Today’s phrases for it are:

Doing; He is making; he got himself into; He is doing; To make the thing happen; to do; to him; He did that …; you do; act on; doing it; To do (or to have done); do; actually doing what you are doing; he pulls off a …

Wheel of Fortune: The common meanings (as opposed to philosophical ones) for this Rider Waite Tarot card are a happening, a miracle, the optimum result, the best thing happens, to score, to win big, to hit the jackpot. A chance or opportunity as well. It suggests destiny and karma. Usually it reflects positive good events. Here its phrases are:

A chance to; wonderful thing happens; is happening; an event; the best thing happens; when this happens; what happens; this happened; hits the jackpot; opportunities; win big; miraculous; the best happens; The odds; a miracle.

At last, he is doing something about it — wonderful!  Can you assign cards to the words here, after all the examples above?
