One of those people who keeps things straight, keeps things on an even keel. So competent, and so no-nonsense that they are off the radar screen of the kind of people who get in the way. This is the kind of person (or the kinds of people) who enforce social order. Some countries are and were better at this than others. Strength
You see a woman wearing the infinity sign above her head and a white robe with a belt of flowers. She has her bare hands on the upper and lower jaws of a lion’s mouth, shutting it, standing beside him, so you know Lion isn’t in attack mode. Strength has the upper hand, and is preventing what the predator had in mind, rendering him harmless.
Strength is about overcoming and preventing opposition. Strength is about taming the beast within or the beast without: overcoming internal or external opposition. So Strength is you when you prevent harm, reform the behavior of a potential abuser, or don’t let someone hurt you. Strength is about a strong or controlling woman getting the upper hand, or about a spiritual warrior.
Strength is you when you lay hands on the difficulty.
Note the finesse of Strength’s win: There’s no conflict. The diplomacy of not being attacked because you can defend yourself and more. In street language, Strength is ‘someone you don’t mess with.’ In the cold war, it was referred to as mutually assured destruction.
Page of Wands
Page of Wands recently was a child taught to behave himself, and he is still doing and being that: He is a good guy who has good intentions, a good-looking man, a well-dressed and well-spoken well-brought up, who has not yet decided who he is. He is every mother’s favorite son and every gal’s dreamboat. Everybody likes Page of Wands.
Page of Wands is about identity – being a type of person, being the one who does this and does not do that. Note that this Page of Wands card can simply translate a pronoun, usually a male singular one.
Page of Wands is one of the speak/tell/say theme cards. He particularly means to speak well, to speak up and speak out, as well as to be the spokesperson (to speak for).
Justice
The illustration here is transparent: A crowned head sits upright with scales in one hand and an upraised sword with the flat side toward you, and ‘Justice’ as the title to the pic: Law enforcement. And Justice is all the law and court themes there are.
The main meaning and words for Justice are: right, should, legal, straight and synonyms of those. Justice also often means set straight, properly, to be okay, entitled to, deserves, and supposed to.

Both Strength and Justice straighten things out, and Page of Wands is one straight arrow. So something is getting straightened out here. Peacefully.
But this isn’t a preachy missive (writing) – far from it, because what we see here is a real struggle being handled, and being handled without a clash. We see an adept – someone with real expertise – straightening a situation out before it happens, preventing whatever the harm (the mayhem?) would have been.
Strength’s strong point is nipping opposition and nipping harm in the bud. The illustration pictures a dame who is a spiritual adept calming the monster that would have attacked before it even gets its mouth open to roar. Her spiritual credentials are expressed in her white robe, its flower belt, and the infinity symbol (the lazy 8) above her head. A key word for Strength is the verb ‘handles.’ ‘Fixes,’ and ‘solution’ are others. Watch for ‘diplomatically’ as well.
Strength’s overcoming does not involve determination or any kind of fighting spirit: Strength calmly sees it coming, like the kindergarten teacher, and puts a halt to what’s about to happen. You could say ‘plugs the hole before the water comes out.’
Justice is far more general in its meanings than Strength is. Watch for it to just say ‘should’ or ‘entitled’ or ‘deserved,’ and to speak of balance (the scales) or ‘sane.’ Justice most often is about the right, proper, or correct (whatever). (See Ace of Pentacles for that concept too).
Page of Wands is an identity card, which means it will translate as various pronouns (and only that sometimes), and as phrases that mean ‘the one who’ or ‘the type of person.’ Think of Page of Wands as the son every mother would want to have and the boyfriend or man every woman craves like Prince Charming.
Page of Wands is also a member of the say/speak/tell club. There, he is about talking, saying, telling, speaking up or speaking out, being the one who said (it), giving your/his word.
