Synopsis

Here we are saying you get the life you want by choosing people you can deal with. ‘What’s in it for them’ is the basis of the skill of getting people to want to do what you want them to do. When your benefit also involves their benefit, everyone benefits. Leadership is being able to find the people and repeat the process, building upon the initial success until everyone involved is on your favorite bandwagon.

‘What’s in it for them,’ in personal life, is you deciding you are going to have a great relationship, and being the one responsible for the relationship by making that relationship rewarding for the other person. ‘What does he/she want?, you ask yourself, and you arrange the forming relationship along those lines – if, of course, this person’s wants match what you want to do. This is a formula that usually works if you are dealing rationally with a rational person.

Nine of Cups

Nine of Cups

‘Wants’ is Nine of Cups favorite word. Get what you want or desire. Get your dream (whatever). Whatever we want. Put any pronoun at all to Nine of Cups: Everybody gets what they want when he’s around! His second favorite word is forms of ‘satisfy,’ especially ‘satisfaction.’

Other things Mr. Nine of Cups gets involved with are: enough, more than enough, good money, plenty, beneficial and benefit, glad, and ‘a great’ anything. Nine of Wands exemplifies the song ‘I like it like that.’

Three of Pentacles

Three of Pentacles

Get into this card because it comes up more often than the Laws of Random Distribution allow. First, it means ‘relationship’ ad nauseam. When in doubt, make it ‘relationship’ or ‘deal’ for Three of Pentacles. Next comes ‘mutual’ and ‘together.’ It means people who are in something together, whether social or commercial: people you deal with, our team, we get together, invest with them, we all (whatever), associate with.

Three of Pentacles is a meeting too. Could be a job interview, an appointment, a budget meeting (because Three of Pentacles is a commercial card about money and settlements), a negotiation or the settlement between the parties, a court hearing of any sort, including settling in court.

The illustration shows an architect settling up with his clients on the contract he did for them. They hold the blueprint and he demonstrates he delivered the building per that blueprint and deserves to get paid his main draw (his profit). This makes Three of Pentacles also read: payoff, contract, contractor, profit, and even demonstrate.

Chariot

Chariot

This is one of those cards whose unrelated meanings all grow directly out of its illustration. You gotta know charioteers were the strategists and heroes – the special ops people – of their day. Leaders, high profile leaders. In war you win by any means, and Chariot is famous for that – for using even the disadvantages to advantage. Success and achievement and getting ahead belong to Mr. Chariot, who is also the manager, the field manager, the successful man, the person in charge, the responsible man, and even the hero. Ambition, Type A, the masterful man, skills and skilled, and ‘he aims’ are add-ons to this category of his meanings.

Chariot translates all forms of the words ‘decide’ and ‘choose.’ That’s more general than you would expect. It’s their choice, his choice, your choice (of anything – a relationship or a man today).

Since the chariot is a vehicle, you find the driver, driving, driven, the truck driver, the car or plane or boat (or whatever vehicle happens along) in Chariot’s dictionary.

Now Without The Pictures

Here we have the leader who gets it done, and the people who get together and get it done, and we have the satisfaction that comes from that. The manager is responsible and highly skilled. Each member of the team is doing his or her part. All the parties to the transaction participate in the team effort because they want to and because they are getting ahead – because this is their success in life.

Nine of Cups is having what you want and Chariot is achieving success. They converge in this spread: ‘My choice’ and ‘what I want’ refer to the same thing

This picture is mainly commercial, but it applies equally to a group of friends or associates who are doers who mutually encourage and enrich one another through shared experience. We are describing networking, and, yes, networking isn’t just about business and financial success, it’s also exchanging ideas.

Our main point today is that your achievements, personal and financial, involve group efforts one way or another, so that success is more likely if you arrange things so that the other people involved in your story are satisfied and rewarded for their contribution.

Ten of Wands When the going gets tough, you get Ten of Wands. The man in our Ten of Wands story has taken it upon himself to do it all in one load, so he is overloaded and overwhelmed with too much weight and too many boards. The full story though is that he is saving a trip by doing it all in one load. (He seldom means that, though.)

.

This ‘number of things’ is Ten of Wands main meaning, and it expands to ‘a lot’ of anything; to a big, or major, thing; to a long time (which includes ‘eventually,’ ‘gradually,’ ‘too long,’ ‘all the time,’ ‘the longer,’ and ‘always.’ Lots of cards mean ‘always’: It’s a big tribe.

.

Put up with’ is a lot of what Ten of Wands is saying, especially today. The burden, ‘the cross to bear.’ Putting up with it long term, carrying that load.

Devil You can’t trust Devil. Read him last, after you note his foot in the door of your reading. Devil means just about anything awful. Today he is ‘monster.’

.

A lot of its meanings involve something that ‘has got you.’ The humans are chained but the chains are loose, so being enslaved to something that is, or at least in the beginning was, a choice: That’s a Devil distinction. That includes bad habits generally, and of course addictions to substances – as well as obsessions and perversions.

.

Devil’s most common translates in a normal reading are: trouble (and problem and difficulty); bad; debilitated (sick, defective, rundown, in bad shape, suffering); involuntary; hate (from ‘I just hate that’ to actual malice), and wrong or evil. Devil can indicate pain too (pain and suffering, as the lawyers say).

.

Devil also covers some pretty ordinary situations and conditions. Devil is ugly; a bad habit; attachment (any kind, even paper clips); sex (the down-and-dirty kind usually); drunk; an obstacle that holds you back.

Four of Wands      Flagship meanings for Four of Wands (in most decks I think) are marriage, couple, family, home, house, spouse. As one of Tarot Verbatim’s marriage cards, Four of Wands means any size human group from the couple to marriage to family to neighborhood to city, county, state, nation, international – including governmental and corporate organizations. (The other positive marriage card, Ten of Cups, also operates in this very general way.) Four of Wands is also the headquarters, since our picture shows the home of the people who run the town. Illustrated is the public part of a wedding of the town nobility.

.

So Four of Wands means all the people and everybody – including all the people who, and everybody who. But Four of Wands also specifically – and often – means the good people, the respectable people, the leaders (usually of the community generally).

.

.

Devil and Ten of Wands are both about very difficult experiences, and Four of Wands applies those difficulties to marital life and community life (and even ‘everybody’). With Devil and Four of Wands, you see the black sheep of the family, and corrupt government. Ten of Wands makes that ‘ very corrupt government,’ and ‘ the black sheep for a long time.’ These would be the most obvious messages you see at a glance looking these three cards.

.

Ten of Wands exacerbates (makes worse), and increases. It increases the number, the length of time, the severity. It means ‘ overwhelmed’ and it means ‘ too much.’ And who is it doing this to today? – Devil. Devil is already bad enough; it doesn’t need to be turned up. And Devil is very general – it means just about any awful thing.    So it doesn’t need to be applied to ‘everybody.’

.

So it’s a good thing that Ten of Wands also means to slow something down, to make it gradual. Gotta remember that!

Three of Pentacles – We use a little bit of each of Three of Pentacles’ different flexible meanings in our message for today. People getting together. Business project, the team – today he is a salesman. Relationship, of course. Doing his part fair and square with others. Deal. Court.

.

The way these meanings converge on this one Three of Pentacles card is the story of a builder meeting with his clients to seal the deal that he has earned his pay, his final draw, per the contract they made together. They have an established friendly relationship.

Chariot – Here we have the ambition to achieve what we choose to do and be. Chariot is all about getting it done. It details all the ingredients to success: The aim, the decision to, the control of self and situation, taking the responsibility for the strategy, managing the situation … and winning.

.

Chariot is also the vehicle for obvious reasons, and is the driver because Chariot has his hands figuratively on the wheel.

King of Wands     He’s a guy in that tone of voice only women use and understand. I guess that’s why he’s also the main card for Husband.

As Husband and Boyfriend, King of Wands is the passionate man. Think Joe 6-pack, country-boy, Popeye (I Yam What I Yam), or the Christian term ‘natural man.’ If you remember him, think Merle Haggard’s songs. Even think redneck.

.

King of Wands is the workingman and the man who does the hands-on work. As a matter of fact, if you are alert to it, you will see this card make the distinction in workplace questions as to who did the actual work versus who got the credit.

.

King of Wands is uninhibited and impulsive: These are actually key words for this Rider Waite Tarot card in Tarot Verbatim™. King of Wands also owns words like: angry, wild, impulsive, fired up, uninhibited, edgy, mad, ill-tempered.

Two main stories are here at a glance. One of them is business getting done by a worker. Business is Three of Pentacles; getting done is Chariot; and King of Wands is the man it is being done by. A variation on the business theme picks up King of Wands’ Archie Bunker side as the edgy fellow who gets people together as a team to accomplish a mutual purpose. Three of Pentacles is a team, is people accomplishing something together – as Chariot is a man accomplishing something (great) alone.

.

The other obvious story is King of Wands as the husband in a relationship ( Three of Pentacles of course) – joined with Chariot, the responsible husband. So we have a theme of the responsible but edgy man. King of Wands has his flaws as the common man, the country boy, and the angry irritated and irritating frustrated fella.

Eight of Cups – In Rider Waite, church-related people wear bright red robes. Mr. Eight-of-Cups is a pilgrim. The story here is that the pilgrim, who has a destination in mind that he is purposeful about, has to detour around a mountain, but he will resume the disrupted course. The full moon attached to a sliver moon gives this card several meanings: wee hours, dusk, twilight, a month’s time, and of course that can make for a nighttime scene.

.

Eight of Cups’ main concept is first the aborting of course, and second the intended resumption associated with the detour. So Eight of Cups is when your life was disrupted, and also when you get back in the saddle and back on course.

.

Some of the meanings the illustration relates to are strangers to one another, which happens a lot in Tarot Land. Eight of Cups is a prime example of this. Here is a list of its headline meanings in today’s reading: to abort, disrupt, drop out, drop everything, and to not complete; sudden, abrupt, immediately, unexpectedly; shortcut, before the deadline; quit; off-the-road, different direction, change in direction, go out of my way; out of the, for a change; leaving, a move to; through the wee hours; and Eight of Cups ends up acting as a negator card (a negative modifier like ‘not.’

Three of PentaclesThe builder meets with his clients to demonstrate, with the blueprints they are looking at, that he did the work on this part of their cathedral as agreed. It’s a friendly business meeting; they have a good relationship. They will sign off on his final and largest payment on the contract they negotiated together. The main words of Three of Pentacles are in this paragraph.

.

Three of Pentacles has these well-defined and few main meanings: relationship; meeting or getting together; business, buy and/or sell, pays off, contract; project; deal; a group of people (not in a bad situation): a team, a social circle, coworkers; people who do something together. This group of people have a mutual interest of some sort, so Three of Pentacles will translate ‘mutual’ at times.

.

Three of Pentacles is a legal card, often about proceedings in court, stipulations, agreements, fines, negotiations, and settlements.

Chariot The ‘vehicle’ and ‘drive’ parts of Chariot are obvious because that is what you see him doing.

.

A main category of meaning for Chariot is the manager or field manager, strategist, leader, or boss, the person in charge, and taking responsibility, taking full charge of a situation or a project. In order for this to make sense, you need to know about charioteers back in the day of good honest hand-to-hand war back in the day. Charioteers were the strategists who made the decisions and gave the directions that won or lost battles, were therefore the leaders and the war heroes.

.

Another main aspect of Chariot’s applications is esoteric. Note his chariot is pulled by sphinxes, magic creatures that are mischievous, malicious, and willful. He controls them not with reins but a wand, and they are not harnessed to his vehicle. Note the reversed colors on the sphinxes: white on black for one, black on white for the other. Sphinxes travel in either a turn to the right or a turn to the left, the story goes, and Mr. Chariot has hitched them so they get in one another’s way and end up going straight. Strategy is Chariot’s strong point.

Three of Pentacles and Chariot are going to make a story about .. getting something done, achieving success as the leader of a team or project, getting together or conferring with with the manager or field manager – that sort of thing. That’s because . . both these cards are about those things, Chariot emphasizing one person’s achievement and Three of Pentacles being about a circle of people who mutually get something done – or at least meet together and put their heads together.

.

Eight of Cups is a maverick card, in the sense that it is about a change, disruption, or any sudden unexpected shift. Think running off the road. Suddenly I am in control of the deal, or I decide to abort the project. I go out of my way to be responsible and get a consensus, or all of a sudden I am the boss of the team. So you get the idea – often – of what Eight of Cups is saying by looking at the surrounding cards, or looking to elements of your Question.

Tarot Readings for You for May 22-23, 2017 Monday-Tuesday©

Here is an email reading a client kindly gave me permission to post. It is a good example of how explicit Tarot is when it says ‘It’s over.’ It’s also a good example of the cards that express a disturbed or even mentally unwell person – in different aspects: Ten of Pentacles, dysfunctional personal lives; Five of Swords, combative attitude (or actual combat); Page of Cups, confused; Seven of Swords, to violate others’ trust or to double-cross; Moon, to be deranged or mentally ill or a ‘lost soul’; Four of Pentacles, feeling inferior; Five of Cups, depression and regret. (Not all these cards say those things in this spread. Nevertheless, they show a pattern that this fellow is disturbed.)

The traits in question are: being patient, being of service to others, being observant, and a kind manner. Driving ambition and being patiently considerate, at first glance, seem to be opposites, but we explain that the best business is doing business cordially with friends. Friends arrive at a fair price, and friends help one another succeed.

Three of Pentacles – Hermit – Chariot

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………     Two contrasting men: the old man who is patient, kind, sincere, and a helpful friend; the hard-driving ambitious strategist in his prime – the monk and the successful captain. The other card is dealing profitably and fairly in a transaction which can be commercial, but is not limited to that.

………………………..    Hermit is a monk, a person who goes out in the cold dark looking for travelers to offer them a warm meal and bed. He stands for being sincere and sober, being kind and considerate, being patient and being on his path. There are some other meanings we aren’t using right now.

…………..……………    Chariot is the strategist, the successful project manager, the man who gets his mission accomplished one way or the other, no matter what. He is the type of person who gets ahead on the factors that would hold him back.

………………………..   Three of Pentacles is baack. Both our men are accomplishing their purpose, and Three of Pentacles is about getting together to get something done as well. Three of Pentacles is the deal. Since Three of Pentacles is a relationship, and Hermit is looking, well, you’re looking for a relationship.

………..…………..  Three of Pentacles and Hermit  A sincere (Hermit) relationship (Three of Pentacles) is the main thing these two usually say. Looking for (Hermit) a relationship is here too. He is devoted (Hermit) in his relationship. Serves (Hermit) sincerely. He comes to you (Hermit) to do his part (Three of Pentacles). A relationship with a man who is kind (Hermit). Friends help one another: Hermit is ‘a friend who helps’ and Three of Pentacles is the ‘one another,’ a group of people who are doing something together. Be a friend (Hermit) to the people I deal with (Three of Pentacles). Doing business (Three of Pentacles) with friends. I was sober (Hermit) when I agreed to it (Three of Pentacles). Soberly (Hermit) doing my part (Three of Pentacles). Three of Pentacles and Hermit can be three physicians (usually specialists re a difficult case) in a conference, putting their heads together over a patient whose case is difficult. Look for (Hermit) a deal (Three of Pentacles). A service (Hermit) business (Three of Pentacles).

………..…………..  Three of Pentacles and Chariot   Three of Pentacles and Chariot are each about business – not all the time, of course. Well, by now you know Three of Pentacles is relationship(s), give-and-take relationships, relationships in which each party does his fair share, etc. Chariot is to decide on one. Chariot is ‘can handle.’ Chariot is intention or aim to be in one. Chariot is your car having a relationship with you. Chariot is that ambitious man you have a relationship with. He decides to do his part, too. Doing business (Three of Pentacles) furthers your ambition (Chariot). I am responsible (Chariot) to do what I agreed (Three of Pentacles). Three of us are in a car. A fair price for, or a deal (Three of Pentacles) on a vehicle. To close a deal (Three of Pentacles) is a skill (Chariot).

……………………   Hermit and Chariot Hermit and Chariot are both quiet and focused men. Hermit is serving his ambition the same as Chariot is; it’s just a different ambition. Both these Tarot cards also mean overland travel. Here we have a man who is both kind (Hermit) and ambitious or successful (Chariot). Both sober (Hermit) and responsible (Chariot). Checking out (Hermit – looking, surveillance) vehicles. On the road at night (Hermit) in a car.

All kinds of people with all kinds of approaches get together and get things done. We especially emphasize the very patient person and the very driven person, both of whom are furthering (and succeeding at) their purpose. The focus is on the deal, not on the personalities. We get down to business with someone whose approach is opposite from ours, and find the counterbalance mutually profitable. This same ‘opposites attract’ dynamic is found in romance and friendship.

Three of Pentacles ……… Three of Pentacles shows an architect settling up with his clients, demonstrating to them that he followed the blueprints and is entitled to his final large payment. People get together to get a mutual project accomplished. A deal is made of different kinds of people, often, and there’s a give-and-take to build the success of it together. Whether it’s selling, friendship, medicine or romance, this is the way it is.

.

Hermit…………. Hermit is devoted to going out alone in the dark looking for people to invite to a hot meal and a warm bed in the cold. One meaning of Hermit is: He comes to you; he is the one who approaches; he is the one who offers. He is a kind calm friend who helps, an older person who advises – even a counselor or physician.

.

Chariot………. Charioteers were the special forces of ancient armies; their strategy was a major factor in who won the battle. This is the ambitious decisive Type A man on a mission. Chariot is one of the esoteric-oriented cards, as you can tell from the sphinxes hitched to the vehicle and the wands for reins to remotely control the magic critters. The basis for the strategy meanings is that sphinxes, the story goes, travel only right or left, so he hitches them so they are in one another’s way and he can go forward. Chariot can be any kind of vehicle (even an aircraft).

Our Daily Spread November 16, 2012 Friday©

Guidance “I have to overcome the inertia of the people I am dealing with, to succeed” is today’s mantra. Inertia is a factor in all equations. (It’s also called drag … for a reason.) Ambition stumbles over consensus and has to wait in line to get the job done. But, whatever I have to go through to get that job done, I will … and it is done.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Guidance and the Tarot Readings are for you if you just want your daily look ahead. “Guidance” is the summary, followed by your word for word Tarot Readings from the four Rider Waite Tarot cards you see pictured here. Pick the sentences that you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them. Sentences contradict one another because negative cards, in this group reading with no question, can attach to any of the other three cards.

Tarot Readings: Relationship (Three of Pentacles)

He does his part as the man in your relationship; he takes charge, and you can relax – you win.

Absolutely determined not to have any relationship.

He decides he has to have a responsible relationship, doing his part … but he hasn’t done anything.

Him as the master of the relationship; you as not having any power at all.

You gotta do this relationship his way, or not at all.

This relationship accomplishes my purpose; I am staying in it for sure.

You must ‘not lift a finger’ if you want him to make your relationship happen.

Passive resistance is the way you get him/her to do his/her part.

Motivated to do (his) part, you don’t have to make (him) do anything.

Tarot Readings: Isn’t Being Done (Four of Swords)

He chairs the meeting so absolutely nothing will happen.

We get together to get done what has to be … and isn’t being … done.

At the meeting, they decide you did not do that, for sure. (exoneration)

Do not do anything yourself; other people will get this done.

They are relieved of the responsibility of having to get this done.

Passive resistance is the way you get him/her to do his/her part.

Passive resistance is the way you get them to do their part.

You’ve got to do something about their inaction: Make them get the business done.

They chose to do business with (me) but they didn’t do a darn thing!

Won’t let myself succeed because of the people I have that agreement with.

Tarot Readings: Getting it Done (Chariot)

I and my team are responsible for this task; we are ignoring the ultimatum.

Motivated to do (his) part, you don’t have to make (him) do anything.

You don’t have to get their agreement: You decide.

It’s absolutely necessary to get something done that I have never done before, and I agreed to this!

You guys succeed. You don’t have to do another thing to accomplish your purpose.

I have to overcome the inertia of the people I am dealing with, to succeed.

The way to get this done with them is to not react or respond, and keep your guard up.

There is no contest that you did what you agreed to do.

Tarot Readings: Meeting, Get Together (Three of Pentacles)

They get together and decide to just let you win.

They get together and decide: You don’t have to insist.

We have a confrontational business meeting about how he just can’t be responsible.

They get together to promote nonviolence.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

The ambitious guy isn’t going to be any threat to the business we are doing.

Their success is no threat.

You deal with whom you choose; you are not forced to do anything.

A responsible contractor who does not meet the requirements.

Tarot Readings: Sleep, Rest, Time Out (Four of Swords)

You have to take some time out for yourself to get some things done.

I’m resting up from the battle in which I took charge of a situation and reached an understanding with (them).

You’ve got to get your sleep if you are going to keep up with the people you deal with.

Tarot Readings: Legal Matters (Three of Pentacles)

There is no contest that you did what you agreed to do.

The decision is a cease and desist order.

When you aren’t going to win, you decide to settle.

Tarot Readings: Vehicle (Chariot)

You don’t have to agree to drive.

Something has got be done about a vehicle that doesn’t move – we are agreed upon that

Wait until you have to, to make a deal on a vehicle.

Is adamant about not doing anything on the vehicle until he is paid.

Tarot Readings: Not Have Anything To Do With Them (Three of Pentacles + Four of Swords)

Absolutely determined not to have anything to do with them.

The one thing I won’t do is voluntarily meet with those people/that person.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

A morass of contradictions today, enough to make one cross-eyed with distinctions. The main one is Four of Swords is not going to do anything (just lie there on the coffin and think, you know) and Ace of Swords is exertion to the nth degree: getting it done by force. A milder one is Chariot is about one person taking charge, and Three of Pentacles is about reaching a consensus by agreement, by people meeting.

Three of our four Tarot table-mates are about getting something done. Three of Pentacles is settling up a deal; Chariot is taking charge of the project; Ace of Swords is exerting force to a victory.

Then there’s Four of Swords asleep at the switch.

Our main saga is getting a purpose accomplished despite inertia and hindrances, either as an individual or together with others.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Three of Pentacles We put our heads together and agree on the business at hand. We settle up among the parties. We are at a meeting. A transaction is being done, commercial exchange or social exchange is accomplished. In short, Three of Pentacles boils down to a relationship and a consensus.
Chariot takes charge … is the driver. This Tarot Verbatim (TM) card is all about strategy and accomplishment and purpose. This fella doesn’t whine, he finds a way. His magic steeds are hitched to his vehicle so that they propel it forward despite the proclivity of one to go only left and the other to go only right; he uses his magic want for reins.
Four of Swords Wake him up when it’s over, it’s *time out* for him. Four of Swords is not participating, not responding. The knight (candidate) meditates on the coffin of a saint or hero’s sarcophagus to discover his vision. Inertia, not doing, isn’t happening, not having anything to do with, staying, letting, passive, relaxing or sleeping, ‘not lifting a finger’ and so on.
Ace of Swords By force, by golly – ya gotta, it’s orders. No choice. Must. To win, to accomplish, a victory. A sword wears a crown which wears laurel leaves symbolizes all these things.

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

Three of Pentacles and Six of Cups are about relationship – and the latter is romance, an old friend, someone you trust. The former covers transactions and contracts, doing your part, as well as meetings and agreements.

Chariot is the responsible man who gets the job done, who is very deliberate and very strategic about achieving his purpose. This Rider Waite Tarot card in Tarot Verbatim (TM) also stands for success, the project being achieved, and using factors that are against your purpose to achieve your purpose. Oh, it’s a vehicle too – any conveyance at all.

Eight of Swords is the brakes, the impeding factor. It means impossible and can’t, and even means death.

Our story is pretty much about achieving something next-to-impossible as a team or with others. It’s also about achieving a sincere and solid love relationship. As usual, Tarot Verbatim (TM) equate love and business.

Three of Pentacles

Three of Pentacles covers transactions and contracts, doing your part, as well as meetings and agreements. Mainly, this Rider Waite Tarot card in Tarot Verbatim (TM) is relationship. The negotiations we do when we deal with other people are the same … feeling one another out as to ‘What will they want for what I want them to do?’ in romance, business and whatever else there is (if there is anything else).

Six of Cups

Six of Cups Here we have childhood, the past, sweet memories, sweet past love, giving gifts or receiving them, romance, an old friend, someone you trust … and trust itself. It is a quaint old house. All of these warm and fuzzy feelings that we attach to various things. Little Boy gives Little Girl flowers illustrates that warm fuzzy feeling quite well.

Eight of Cups People say ‘My hands are tied’ when they really mean ‘I can’t’ which in turn really means ‘I don’t want to.’ Eight of Swords covers being helpless (even dead), unable to, blocked. It represents the impeding factor(s), what holds you back, and down time or disability.
