Guidance

You are the type to not do anything halfheartedly. If you start it, you do it all the way – get intensely involved, put serious energy into it, and get the show on the road. You engage the bystanders to join in the competition, fight, struggle or activity wholeheartedly too. In the middle of that production, you leave because you are against it after all. (I think this is an invitation to look before you leap into interests, and maybe to understand why someone abandoned the ship he got you to join.)

Could This Be You?

Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Synopsis

It takes a burst of energy to get something accomplished here, like the way you gas a vehicle at just the right time to get it out of being stuck. That burst of energy is often required to get started, and often required right at the end of the endeavor, the finish line to the race. This is a high-energy day, so let’s get moving right now.

Knight of Wands

Knight of Wands

Today is all about action, and Mr. Knight of Wands is all about rushing into, or rushing out of. He is in a hurry. He is a wholehearted and gung-ho guy: He either pursues full speed ahead making fast progress or he runs away to avoid as fast as he can. Rushes in, rushes out, and in between he rushes through.

Magician

Magician

The picture shows him, the magician, creating an event with his magic tools and his willpower. He reaches to the sky to bring it in, and reaches to the ground to pin it down. His willpower is the channel. Magician starts things and does things, and is male: Those are his three main Tarot jobs. And all that is because, as he 1 he is, esoterically speaking, ‘the male principle’ in the story of the creation of things. The male principle starts the action where he is (a plane) and, as the generating party, is male.

In real Tarot life on the ground, Magician translates any form of the verbs ‘do,’ ‘act,’ and ‘make,’ and their synonyms of course – and words like ‘action.’ He also owns words that mean initiate and start.

He also owns pronouns: I, myself, he, himself. It’s easy to overlook Magician simply translating ‘I do’ or ‘he does.’

Magician makes it happen, and translates that way. He attracts the word ‘get’ in odd ways, like ‘I get myself’ or ‘to get him.’ Today ‘he puts us up to,’ which is off-label.

Five of Wands

Five of Wands

Whatever that activity is, those guys work up a sweat doing it. Five of Wands is all about activity, involvement, fight, struggle, effort, difficult doings, trying hard, and competing. The fight part extends to being against (anything), and the competing extends to the whole world of sports competition and sports activity.

Now Without The Pictures

Five of Wands and Knight of Wands are high-energy. Both are ‘giving it all they’ve got,’ are actively involved.

Magician and Five of Wands are action. Magician is the act, and is doing it – not to mention doing it himself or being the one who does or did it. Five of Wands is doing it exhaustively, trying hard to do it, and engaging in sweaty activity, competing with others even.

Knight of Wands is going fast and Five of Wands is heavy action, so ‘fast and furious’ is a phrase these two make. They also say ‘Leave before the fight starts,’ with Knight of Wands being the leave, or the ‘leave before, and Magician being the ‘starts.’ Five of Wands of course is the fight.

These three cards get together to sing various renditions of ‘Get yourself involved all the way in a hurry’ or ‘Get your blood moving, get on with it, and get ‘er done.’ A pep rally, I guess.

GUIDANCE  Here we have a portrait of a man who is intensely in love but doesn’t want to face an official relationship with its expectations for the future and its obligations. Usually the woman in these stories ‘tries to make it work’ and pursues the fellow. The more cool he is, the more drama she creates. This is an actual email reading of a real-life dame who did the opposite. Did the winning strategy of taking a page out of Sir’s book an being even cooler than he, for longer than he can stand.

.

What’s his perspective and attitude toward me and the future of our relationship?

Ten of Pentacles – Seven of Wands – Chariot

The relationship is in trouble; I am forced to take responsibility, take charge.

Losing – Five of Cups

this lady – High Priestess

would hurt a lot; I would be ‘up nights crying,’ and I’m worried. – Nine of Swords

And the real-life dame commented on her reading:

And he should be worried. I’ve been dating other men, so I’m never around, and one sent me the hugest bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen in my life yesterday. I kinda like that.

An email reading like this one is what you get on the ‘Email reading’ navigation tab at the top of this page. It’s $18.75 by PayPal, and you don’t even have to use his, her, or your name, or give any history or personal information. A specific question is all I need to give you an answer like the one you see.  Your question can be about any area of life, not just personal relations, but getting into ‘the other side’s’ head is my specialty.

GUIDANCE      We are sorting out how action and thought relate. We decide to get something done. We are very aware, in this train of thought, that the energy we put behind our decision is a factor in getting it done. So there’s the thought, there’s the act, and there’s the energy invested in the action. We remind ourselves, too, that we do the very things we are against.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                  LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. …….…… …..      We have two cards that mean action and activity, Five of Wands and Magician. Together they are about the energy to engage in the action, struggle or fight. They say things like ‘take energetic action.’ Both these cards translate ‘do,’ and sometimes you just let one of them speak in the translation of the sentence.

The other Tarot citizen is about determination and focus, Knight of Pentacles. Knight of Pentacles is beyond motivated. He is a strong man, as Magician is a man. He is about watching and Magician is about doing too … which Five of Wands applies, of course, to watching sports.

Knight of Pentacles and Magician say ‘Watch what you are doing’ as well as ‘the decision or determination to get something done.’ Knight of Pentacles is thought – concentrating on the priority – and Magician is taking action on that … doing it. Thought and action. Both these Tarot cards mean willpower, too.

Knight of Pentacles can be a macho man, even a punk, and Five of Wands is about fighting. Since Knight of Pentacles is about focus, Five of Wands makes ‘focus your energy upon’ – which many of our today sentences are about. Both Knight of Pentacles and Five of Wands involve energy, since Five of Wands means energy, and since Knight of Pentacles is a strong-willed man who is focused.

Magician and Five of Wands speak of throwing yourself or himself into the action. They say ‘I am intensely involved,’ and they are about males competing. (Remember that gender can refer not just to people but other animals as well.) Magician and Five of Wands are about acts of opposition, and about what the opponent (could be sports) does.

.

.

.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE.

Knight of Pentacles      Knight of Pentacles is all ‘go’ and no ‘whoa.’ Driven, like a racehorse. You see a stout and sturdy fellow on a stout and sturdy dark horse. The fellow stares at his one pentacle. He is honest-to-God motivated. He is paying attention, undivided attention. Knight of Pentacles combines a tough macho guy with an idea. (Strong-willed.) The guy is strong, determined, ambitious, and … key word … focused. He has one thing on his mind: That is at least part of how Knight of Pentacles comes to mean those two things: tough guy and idea.

Knight of Pentacles can be so focused he is obsessed, so this card represents a stalker sometimes. Not today. Today his focus is on action, because of his table-mates. Today he is an idea man, pretty much.

Magician      Magician takes action; he is action. Here’s the guy who gets the job done. Let others think about it (Knight of Pentacles, for one); he just goes ahead and does it. You see him doing it: His right hand with the wand brings the energy down from the sky; his left hand grounds whatever he wills to the earth. And Magician is all about willpower: That is actually the definition of magic. He brings it about; he pulls it off; he makes it happen. He initiates: He starts things. He initiates or makes the first move, too.

When Magician represents a person, it’s a male person because Magician is, esoterically speaking, the male principle of being active on a particular plane. Magician is doing it, is being the one to do it (any gender, now), is the guy who did it. Magician brings it about, brings it down, makes it happen, triggers an event. That’s his Tarot job.

Magician – remember this – translates any form and any tense of the verbs ‘do’ and ‘make,’ as well as ‘bring about.’

Five of Wands is the energy for the endeavor, and is the doing of the endeavor, the involvement in it. You see five fellows whacking one another with boards. Often, the involvement of a group of people, and usually intense involvement. Often involvement in hostilities (fights like family fights or feuding).

Five of Wands is getting in the trenches with the wrenches – is the energy the struggle is taking, is the competition and the opposition – is trying hard. Five of Wands is the battle, is being against or opposing something. Activity. Sometimes it means ‘fighting against’ and sometimes it means ‘fighting for,’ but, you see, it means fighting, effort, getting intensely involved. (And remember Five of Wands is the ‘hard’ of ‘hard work’ when Eight of Pentacles shows up.)

Five of Wands is sometimes about sports, sometimes about exercise – anything that involves exhaustive exertion and striving for or striving against.

.

.

.

.

When you’re determined to do something, and you know how to do it, and you have the energy to put into it … no matter what the opposition is … well, you get it done. We think about those factors: Don’t leave home for an endeavor without all three of them. This is the recipe that applies to your number one priority, of course, not to every intention you may have.

Tarot Readings for You for November 1, 2013 Friday(c)

Guidance  centers on war and peace today, on settling differences by hashing things out and coming to a peaceful coexistence. Some of us are for Whatever It Is and some of us are against it, but most of us make an effort to get along and resonate somewhere near the middle. Fighting for what’s right can become a holy war and get you dysfunctional. Someone says “I’m in love with a screwed-up person who acts violent.” People who are ill struggle to get well.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Ace of Cups

Magician – Ten of Pentacles – Five of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Ten of Pentacles in Rider Waite is one of the family-marriage-community cards; there are three of them. Ten of Pentacles in Tarot Verbatim is a division or schism in a group, or represents any dysfunctional group at all – whether at home, at work, in public life, etc. It can be patients in a treatment facility. It can be a gang, mob, political entity at any level, corporation or company at any level. It can be a neighborhood, an ethnic group, any bunch of people who have something in common, usually something problematical. People who have a problem or people who are a problem. People who have trouble, are in trouble, or are troublemakers.

It can be a meeting of persons who disagree or are working something out – like the Continental Congress. Strife is inherent but not overt in Ten of Pentacles.

Its illustration is a multi-generational family disagreement. (Note I said ‘in Tarot Verbatim.’ Other people, and other decks, have a different niche for this card.)

The strife that is inherent in Ten of Pentacles is overt in Five of Wands. They talk in Ten of Pentacles; they whack each other in Five of Wands. Five of Wands is the fight, the struggle, being against, the opposition or opposing. A lot of energy, working up a sweat – even exercising – belong to Five of Wands. So Ten of Pentacles and Five of Wands are people who oppose one another, factions who fight one another, or even gang warfare.

So, after two cards that both connote strife, here come two that, together, mean ‘make peace.’ It is this contrast that is the main theme of our layout today. See how that works?

Magician simply represents whatever the action is today. He simply means: to do, to make, to bring about, to be the one who does (or man who does, usually). Ace of Cups has more meanings than he does. Ace of Cups means, among other things, peace, healing, getting along or cooperating – going with the flow. It is a love card (true love, most of the time), and it means to agree, to permit or let, to be copacetic.

Like I said, Magician simply represents the action being done today. With Ace of Cups , peace, he is making peace. So Magician and Ace of Cups are making peace or agree or love one another. With Five of Wands , war, he is making war or fighting. So Magician and Five of Wands are a person who starts a fight or who is engaged in some struggle. Ten of Pentacles shows people who are members of a circle who are having, and presumably working out, some issue or disagreement.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Magician One hand raised to heaven, the other to earth, the tools of his trade on the table, Magician is in the process of making something he wills happen. This card’s meanings are few and grow directly out of the illustration: to do, to make, to bring about, to act, to start or instigate; to take initiative. Esoterically, as a ‘1,’ Magician represents the male principle, which is active on the physical plane, as High Priestess represents passivity on the physical plane, being active in mental and spiritual realms.

Ten of Pentacles hinges upon disagreement in the human group or is a disagreeable human group.  This is us when we have problems with other people – any group at all – home life and relatives, workplace, neighbors, legal disputes, political or public life.

The illustration is so perfect for this:  You can see the family quarrel here.  Grandpa in his fancy chair overlooking it all while the couple is having one of those ‘marital discussions’ with the guy staring away from the woman who talks earnestly at him, the squalling brat clawing at her clothes. Even the dogs are on the boss’ side.

Five of Wands shows a fight or competition. Fellows are sparring, or are energetically attacking one another, with log-sized boards. Meanings that arises from this illustration are pretty straightforward: fight or fighting, struggle, oppose or opposition, against, a lot of energy, exercise.

Ace of Cups has a spectrum of meanings arising from its illustration, which is a diagram of Roman Catholic concepts. As I understand, the dove and wafer represent Holy Communion, and the water with the fountain flowing into the (presumably) ocean represent the idea that Holy Spirit indwells the human body and its fluids, and from there flows out into the world to have a good effect on surroundings. Today, Ace of Cups is about peace and love, about peacemaking and cooperation among people.

Our Daily Spread for November 1, 2011 Tuesday ©

Advice centers on war and peace today,  on settling differences by hashing things out and coming to a peaceful coexistence.  Some of us are for Whatever It Is and some of us are against it,  but most of us make an effort to get along and heal somewhere near the middle.  Except the holy war folks.  Someone says  “I’m in love with a screwed-up person who acts violent.”  People who are ill struggle to get well.

(At the time of production,  there’s no way to correct the lack of spaces after punctuation.  I am writing around it now!)

=========================================================================

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It  is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions?  –  You are done now  –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

=========================================================================

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Ten of Pentacles is a schism in a group,  dysfunctional (polite term for screwed-up) group of any kind (mob,  family,  neighborhood,  workplace,  etc.),  people who have a problem or who are a problem,  people who have trouble or are trouble,  a meeting  –  especially a meeting of disagreeing persons.  The Continental Congress would have been Ten of Pentacles.  The strife that is inherent in this Rider Waite Tarot card is overt in Five of Wands,  the fight or opposition.

Then comes two cards that together mean to make peace.  Magician is to bring about,  make or do;  Ace of Cups is love,  cooperate,  get along,  let me,  go with the flow.  Magician is either a troublemaker or a peacemaker here,  with Ten of Pentacles and Ace of Cups both standing by for him to act,  and Five of Wands  ‘with great energy.’

So we have a story here today,  a variety of dramas.  That is why we have so many sentences.  By no means did I exhaust the material in today’s sentences.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Magician makes, does,  brings about,  acts.  He starts and instigates and even promulgates.  He is the male,  the active,  principle; that is where most of his meanings arise.

Ten of Pentacles hinges upon disagreement in the human group or is a disagreeable human group.  This is us when we have problems with other people in the family,  in the workplace.  The illustration is so perfect for this:  You can see the family quarrel here.  Grandpa is grandly on his throne,  the couple is having a  ‘marital discussion’  with the guy staring away from the woman who talks earnestly at him,  the squalling brat clawing at her clothes.  Even the dogs know Grandpa is Boss.

Five of Wands shows a fight or competition,  guys whacking at one another with boards.  A lot of energy or effort.

Ace of Cups is holiness,  peace,  love.  Its Roman Catholic symbols actually bespeak the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the body of a person,  what with the wafer and the dove and the  “W.”  Someday I will delve into the symbols some more of the Rider Waite Tarot.
