Lovers is making a connection, or connecting, directly, one on one, and being together on something, or getting together. Star and Lovers in a business context is conversing with a contact, or a contact calling you (or you them). This pair of Rider Wait Tarot cards is the main message.

     Knight of Swords      modifies the message we talk about. It means immediately or quickly. It means to come back or to switch direction in any way (including back and forth). So ‘get back,’ ‘go back,’ and ‘come back’ are its signals. It is a change, big time. It can also be a turnaround or to turn around.

       Seven of Pentacles      is considering, is wondering or pondering. ‘Whether’ and ‘if’ are its signals, often. So is ‘maybe.’ He’s the fellow whose plants may or may not produce, you know.

      Star      is feeling good and being in good health. Singing in the shower, upbeat vibes. Today its ‘good health’ spectrum makes all sorts of phrases. With Knight of Swords it is the return of good health. With Lovers, it is about our good health, or health being good because you connected with someone or something. With Seven of Pentacles, it is speculation about feeling so healthy.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Star      (1) Talking, (2) being enthusiastic or liking or loving, (3) feeling optimistic or feeling good, and (4) good health are Star’s core meanings. Singing or performing is a minor one, and so is making a presentation or sales pitch. You see a person taking a midnight ritual bath, pouring pitchers into the pond and singing.

Lovers      In contexts that are not about lovers, Lovers is about contact, connection, partners or whoever the ‘they’ or ‘them’ are that you are in contact with. People you are close to. Being associated with. Getting in touch with or being in touch with. In the illustration in any deck, two people are standing together, usually side by side as here.

 Seven of Pentacles       is considering, is wondering or pondering. ‘Whether’ and ‘if’ are its signals, often. So is ‘maybe.’ Some is iffy, there’s a question. It means to ask. It means uncertainty often, but not today. This is the fellow whose cucumber plants may not bear, remember, and there’s no way for him to know … yet.

Knight of Swords      Pictured is a knight in hot pursuit. Fast movement is the core meaning, but it has quite a spectrum. To come back, to go back, to double back, to keep returning or keep running away, or both. In a hurry, immediately, last-minute anythings, hits suddenly, fast, in a rush, instantly, briefly, for the moment, prematurely, very soon … even ‘get it over with’ sometimes. He can make a quick escape too. He can stand for a ‘Damn the torpedoes’ attitude or approach.
